Meet your early careers team
Meet your graduate team
I graduated with a BA (Hons) degree in English Literature from the University of Exeter, and then completed an MSc in Rural Land Management at the Royal Agricultural University. After leaving there, I joined Fisher German in 2010 as a graduate surveyor in the Banbury office. Over ten years later, I have moved from the Rural sector to Infrastructure Services, alongside progressing from graduate to Partner, now leading a team of 20 working for national clients in the water, electricity and gas sectors. I have sat on the graduate team since 2015 and now head up graduate recruitment, engaging with colleges and universities to find the future Partners of Fisher German.

Grad Team Role: Recruitment Lead and Mock APC Chair I joined Fisher German at the start of 2021 as Early Careers Talent Advisor. From recruitment to coordinating training events and programmes, I am the face of FG for anything early careers related. I am genuinely passionate about helping people get the best start in their career and you may well see me get a bit emotional when programmes end or results get announced.
I am very excited to be working for a company that believes so much and invests so heavily in their early careers programme. The structured programme works like a well-oiled machine to ensure success and the best experience for all our grads, placements and apprentices. However, we’re not resting on our laurels, and we’re continuously seeking to improve and innovate in order to stay ahead of the game. Marie-Ange Ehrhart, Early Careers Talent Advisor
Grad Team Role: Recruitment and Training Support I graduated from Harper Adams University in 2014 with a degree in Rural Enterprise an Land Management. I joined an international surveying firm and qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 2015. I joined Fisher German in 2018 in the Rural Property Management Division and since then have moved into the Advisory Services Division. My current role is diverse, providing professional services to a variety of clients including landowners, farmers, and corporate bodies across the UK, specialising in the valuation of rural assets. Within the Graduate Team, my role is to oversee and manage the mock APC assessments together with Marie-Ange. This involves everything from arranging dates, selecting assessors, and overseeing assessment days. I also assist with interviews for the firms Graduate in-take, and am an RICS Assessor, Supervisor and Counsellor to internal and external candidates.

My graduate job at Fisher German started in 2018, the role was offered to me after I completed my placement year at the firm in 2016/2017. I currently work in the Rural Property Management and Consultancy sector, undertaking a mixture of rural diversification and estate management work.
My role within the Graduate Team is to not only organise the graduate training days but to also ensure that our graduates are getting the most out of our training programme. This means that we are constantly adapting and changing our training to meet the needs of our Graduates. Fisher German aims to provide graduates with training that not only assists them with their professional qualifications but also to develop their personal skills for graduates to be prepared for their career after progressing from our graduate programme.

I joined Fisher German in 2016 following a previous career as a geologist in the oil and gas industry. Fisher German kindly sponsored me through the part-time REALM course at Harper Adams University which I completed whilst working as a graduate surveyor in the rural team from Ashby. I graduated from Harper Adams in 2018, passing my APC and CAAV exams a couple of months later.
I continue to work in the Rural Team where my time is split between corporate estate management and mineral surveying. In the Graduate Team, my role is to oversee the APC Doctors within the firm – a form of mentoring scheme which provides APC support to graduates outside of their immediate teams.
