About Valentin Porcisteanu Born on the 25th of November 1982 in a region which is well known in Romania as the birthplace of many talented rally drivers, Valentin was always keen on racing and showed from the very beginning an appetite for victory. He also has a passion for technology and for its application in the day-to-day life. This means that he is always active on the social networks, being well known as the most loved pilot in Romania. About the Romanian Rally Championship With a growing audience in both male and female 18-35 age groups, the Romanian Rally Championship attracts over 10.000 people at every event. Because Romania does not have racing circuits, Rallying is the most watched and visited form of motorsport in the country. Most important companies are involved in this competition. There are eight races every year, one of which (Sibiu Rally) was a 2012 IRC event and will be a 2013 ERC stage. The Romanian Rally Championship is hosted by the biggest cities in the country, it’s caravan reaching all 4 corners of Romania.
