FASHION CLIPPINGS By Nour Ibrahim

AI Predicting Fashion Trends IBM and the Fashion Institute of technology developed a device that can help filter through all past designs, styles and collections to further help the fashion industry. All styles come from some form of inspiration, and the Cognitive Print is the place to go for this inspiration, calculating current and past trends and evaluating what combination of trends will sell and what past trend may resurface. It also reduces risk of inadvertent plagiarism, allowing for the release of new lines with further ease.

Adidas Predator 18+ Adidas football has released its all new Predator 18+, its new boot set to be worn on-pitch at the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia by Paul Pogba and Mesut Ozil. The electric yellow and black design will be available in Stadium, Cage and Street versions. The Predator 18+ features a Purecut Laceless system for the ultimate control with a Boost midsole for energy return for every step. Perfect for any match requiring flexibility, strength and durability.

Major Brands Join MFC scheme The MFC scheme (or the Make Fashion Circular scheme) was set up by the Ellen MacArthur Foundation to promote the reduction of waste in fashion by recycling raw materials and products. The two major brands joining this positive movement are H&M and Burberry. The aim of the scheme is to create an “unstoppable momentum that will motivate an economy that never wastes clothes. With such major backing, the movement seems well underway to becoming a revolutionary prospect to which other brands could easily contribute.

Savage x Fenty While the nude makeup scene is taking strides in becoming more inclusive by added shades for women of darker color, Rihanna’s Fenty is taking it a step further by including nude underwear in her latest collaboration with lingerie line Savage. While the line contains many forms of lingerie, all as daring and sultry as the singer herself, the nude underwear line is truly the showstopper. Little brands think of woman of darker color when creating nude lines, so for a majorly iconic brand to unleash a line thinking specifically of this neglected minority is truly a notable feat.

Comme des Garcons CDG The worlds most avant-garde fashion house Comme des Garcons has released a new brand by the name of CDG. This brand is meant to appeal to a more casual set of wear that still connects to the house’s eccentric roots. Creating trainers and T-shirts with the bold lettering of CDG aligned in the most unique ways, the brand attempts to create a line that will remain relevant way into the future. Its modern designs and abstract patterns allow for a truly unique line.

Burberry Sues Target Burberry is suing Target for ripping off the iconic check print style that the brand is known for. It is not everyday that a luxury brand decides to sue a commercial one, but with the success of Target and its cheaper items, compared to Burberry’s luxury ones, many may see Targets copy-cat as a cheaper substitute for the original, which is clearly an issue. Commercial sells more than luxury, which is why the brand had to take action, despite the clear distinction of their consumer markets. Burberry is suing Target for $2 million dollars. It will be interesting to see what Target will do in response to the litigation.

BEAUTY CLIPPINGS By Nour Ibrahim

Lancôme x Proenza Fashion brand, Proenza Schouler has teamed up with the French luxury beauty brand Lancôme to create a new and fresh makeup line. The line’s central theme revolves around women empowerment. The color palette is deliberately fresh and popping for the daring women. Although they only released a preview so far of the bold line, we are excited to see where the collaboration goes.

Soy Face Cleanser When it comes to beauty, one size does not fit all in most casesFresh’s Soy Face Cleanser, however, is the exception. This soy-based face wash is being sold every minute across the world due to its amazing results for oily, dry, mixed and normal skin. The wash not only removes makeup (and is completely safe for the eyes) but also hydrates the skin leaving it plump and refreshed. The wash also doesn’t leave the skin oily like an oil-based face wash may do or strip the skin dry like a water-based wash might. Instead, the soy base allows for the perfect balance, as well as having the added benefits of rosewater for balanced skin, cucumber for calming and borage seed oil for hydration. This plus the firming technique of the soy leaves any skin in better condition than ever.

Haus Beauty by Lady Gaga Celebs these days are creating makeup brands left and right, but its not everyday that an icon such as Lady Gaga, known for her highly unique style- takes a try at the industry. Providing the whole nine yards of beauty products, even including body oil and sunscreen, all in the style of Lady Gaga, this rumored line looks to be filled with an endless amount of celebrity goods. While not much news is out on the actual line, the name Haus beauty has officially been trademarked by Gaga, meaning developments of the collection are well under way. We can’t wait!

Mark Jacobs Rose Gold Set Rose gold has been trending for a while now, and although its hype has slowly dwindled down since the rise of more retro colors in 2018, it still has its loyal fanbase. To the fanbase, Marc Jacobs gifts the comeback of the Coconut Fantasy Collection. This tropical smelling line includes all shades of rose gold in all forms. With summer coming up, the warm hues of the collection are most definitely welcomed, as they complete the look of any beachside glow.

Sephora’s Clean Beauty Categorization in any makeup store can go by brand, product or even color. The world’s biggest beauty retailer- Sephora, however has decided to segment its products in a new manner-labeling some products as “clean”. Said to be both environmentally and animal friendly, the consumption of clean make up has been continuously on the rise and many are making the move to obtain products that will not only benefit them, but the world around them as well.

Bite Beauty Astrology Collection Did you ever wonder, if you were a lipstick, what shade would you be? Well Bite Beauty has the answer in the form of an astrological inspired line. This lipstick line releases a new shade with the start of every sun sign. For example, they had an earthy nude for the sign of Taurus, and now the new limited-edition lip shade to release is the two-faced (or in this case two-shaded) Gemini lipstick that includes a lipstick that is quite literally half soft pink and half bright red. This is meant to celebrate the duality of the sign; just as past shades have celebrated the essence of the others such as the down-to-earth nature inspiring an earthy color for the Tarsus. The line is to continue until all the signs are complete, however every lip color starts and ends with their sign.

Sister Act

Farah & Zeina Hosny By Sarah Guirguis

As two sisters who grew up as a band of triplets with their brother, Farah Hosny followed her dream to become a professional photographer, while Zeina Hosny followed her calling to becoming a couture designer. Even though each of their work is individually exceptional they often work together, becoming a force to be reckoned with. We sat to talk with the talented sisters about their work and aspirations. How did you come to collaborate with each other?

FH: We started when I went to New York to study photography. She sent me a few of her dresses and I shot them with Miss Turkey in Central Park and then with a Russian model in Brooklyn. This was our first collaboration and the second one happened to be both our graduation projects, called “Syria in My Heart”. We’re half Syrian and so the project was inspired by Syria and the dresses, and the culture. My sister’s graduation project was the dresses and mine was the photography of the dresses. When I came back, I took her room and opened my studio in her workshop, and then we collaborated on her bridal collection.

What does each of you admire the most about your sister’s work?

FH: The elegance. The class. I love that she doesn’t conform to public taste in Egypt. She always fixes herself in a unique position in the market and maintains a standard that she would never compromise. ZH: She always refers to her rich educational background. She doesn’t like to shoot without having everything set up the way she knows it should be – specifically according to what she learned in New York. Her work is definitely more of a higher standard than what I normally see with other photographers.

Zeina Hosny Where did you learn about design and how has it affected your current career?

I’ve always wanted to study fashion design at university but my father didn’t agree with me at the beginning. He said it’s too risky and that I should go for something that I can make a career of, so I ended up studying marketing. During my third year, I went to a workshop every other day in Damascus. It’s where I learned the know-how of fashion making, and I produced pieces for that workshop for two consecutive years. When my father noticed my passion for fashion, he agreed to take it a step further and let me study fashion at Italian fashion academy when we moved to Cairo because of the war in Syria. For three intensive years, I studied everything that has to do with fashion and I won first place out of thirty other contestants at the fashion runway competition with Red Square. That’s when my father realized I have a future in fashion, so I ended up training in Dubai with Houida Baridi after that and then in Beirut with Tony Ward. Without my educational background, I wouldn’t know what is missing in my designs, and what is actually doable and what’s not. Training in other people’s workshops and working under experienced designers and under the pressure of real workshop was definitely necessary for me to be able to run my own workshop.

Why go for couture?

For me, casuals are very simple but I love the details I get to do in soirée/couture. I definitely prefer high fashion because it includes more details, like the embroidery, the cut lines and the fit of a dress - to exactly suit the client’s body, which gives me quite the challenge.

How do you manage client relationships, specifically when it comes to bridal dresses?

Honestly, it’s difficult because you face different personalities all the time. Some are very pushy. Some are very calm. Some let you do what you want, while others are very picky and make you change the design over and over.

We can tell that you’re all for women empowerment. How do you translate that in your dresses?

I think I have built my identity as a designer and people recognize it now. I believe that very edgy dresses and fine cuts reflect women empowerment. When a dress has a million ideas jammed into it, the woman wearing it comes off as if she doesn’t know what she’s doing, unlike the woman who’s wearing an edgy dress and is confident of what she’s wearing.

35

Farah Hosny When did you discover your passion for photography?

Ever since I was a kid, I used to walk around with a camera in my hand. I decided to pursue photography when I came to Egypt. I learned from my sister’s footsteps that the only way my father was going to let me study photography after marketing is to see that I’m actually passionate about it. I took a few courses in Egypt and I wanted to train with some photographers but none of them actually accepted, so I decided to go to New York. I stayed there for one year and came back with a diploma.

What was it like to learn from artists and photographers in New York?

New York was a life-changing experience for me. I don’t think anywhere else would’ve worked for me. Just choosing to

learn in New York, which is both a fashion and photography hub was right up my lane. I learned a lot from the teachers at school but more than that, from the art of the city. It’s like walking around in an open museum. We used to visit art galleries at least four or five times a week and we don’t go back to the same gallery, so that’s how rich New York is with art and inspiration. The knowledge you gain there is nothing compared to what you can gain here. It was also a very hands-on program, definitely unlike the theoretical teaching systems I came across in Egypt. I used to book studios at least twice or three times a week and I would spend my weekends there, and that’s how I learned that knowledge and experience go side by side in photography.

What impact do you hope to have on people with your work? I would love to leave an impact where people can look at my pictures and discover the story I was trying to tell through them. I like to tell a story behind everything I shoot and I hope people can grasp it.

INTERVIEW

Dr. Riyadh Al-Buqumi Beauty Wizard By Sarah Guirguis

Already established as an expert dermatologist in the Arab world, Dr. Riyadh Al-Buqumi is bringing his finesse and expertise to Egypt soon with the opening of his new clinic. With roughly 162k followers on Instagram, he is also a rising social media influencer with a warm reputation that gives us more reason to trust him. We caught up with the Saudi doctor ahead of his clinic opening and spoke to him about dermatology, services that his clinics offer, challenges in the field, and much more‌

What motivated you to specialize in dermatology and dermatological cosmetic surgery? After studying medicine when it was time to pick a specialty, I wanted something that combined human service, operation and art. I love to draw, sculpt, look at paintings and think outside the box, so this job allows me to be simultaneously an artist and a doctor. What kind of challenges have you faced so far in this field? Of course, challenges keep coming but the biggest challenges I faced were during my studying phase. This included waking up early, constant travel between home and Boston University, trying to prove myself in a very competitive field. Then another challenge was establishing my solo practice because I had all of its success dependent on me.

41

How do you balance between your professional and personal life? I love my job so I don’t feel like I’m going to work everyday, more like I’m going to do something enjoyable. That’s where I find the balance. I’m also surrounded by supportive friends and family. I think the balance is found in putting happiness as your goal so that you love what you do and surround yourself with people who understand your busy lifestyle. What are your dreams and plans for the future? I have many dreams but my main dream is to excel scientifically and practically, and set up clinics that fulfill the standard of the “Saudi Vision 2030”, stir up tourism and create a clinical hub that people come to from all over the world. Have you ever come across a client who didn’t like the final outcome? How did you deal with it? Yes, of course, even first-class doctors worldwide get customer satisfaction only up to 82-85 percent. You always get at least 2 out of 10 patients who are not satisfied, and that doesn’t necessarily mean bad results or lack skill from the doctor. Sometimes the patient has unrealistic expectations. You have to always be sensitive to the patients’ feelings, and comfort them, even after the procedure. In that case, you also need to have photos for Before and After to show them that the change is for the better. Sometimes the procedure goes perfectly but there are side effects like swelling, for example, that scare the patient. In the case of dissatisfaction due to procedural inaccuracy, we make a few tweaks to improve the look and we always provide that for free. Given the variety of the services you offer between teeth whitening, laser removal and lip coloring and much more, which would you say is the operation most people go for? According to our Saudi culture, most of my patients go for liposuction or liposculpture, but in general, most people go for Botox and fat reduction. Women specifically also go for fillers and men for hair transplants.

Would you say men’s beautifying services are in equal demand as they are for women? Why? Men are starting to visit beauty clinics almost as much as women but women remain the majority of our patients. This is because of media and culture, in my opinion. It’s almost a taboo for men to want to change the way they look. I think outer appearance is important because it affects his psyche, his self-esteem and the way he deals with people around him. There should be nothing wrong with it. Most of our male patients are either in their 20s-early 30s or in their 50s. The young ones want to look good and presentable because they’re always being photographed on social media so they do a little Botox or liposuction in the chest area, abdomen and hips. They could be hitting the gym but seeing no change so this would be their next option. As for men in their 50s, they might be going through mid-life crisis or they probably worked a lot and wanting to relax and focus on

themselves. Compliments at that age mean a lot to them so they usually go for little things like Botox and fillers.

Your information should be general, objective and very accurate. Sometimes it’s even along the lines of consultation.

What was it like to be a guest of honor at Arab Lamode Festival? This was my second time to go and it was amazing. It was a privilege to see such a variety of fashion designers from the Arab world with collections that have showcased in New York, Paris and Milan Fashion Week. It was especially nice to see Saudi girls bringing outstanding, contemporary design to the festival. It was a pleasure to get to honor those designers and meet people who you probably would have never crossed paths with otherwise.

How did you come to the decision to open a clinic in Egypt? I love Egypt. It’s my second home. It actually has a great market for beauty treatments. It’s the dream of every successful doctor in this field to open clinics all over the Arab world starting with Egypt.

How does it feel to be a social media influencer with so many people counting on your advice? The responsibility is big because as a doctor, you have to be sure of what you advertise, even if it’s a product that you’re personally convinced with.

What makes your clinic stand out from other beauty clinics here? We have all the cutting-edge technology that will produce the most effective results. 80 percent of the technology in this field is very limited. Only 20 percent is effective. We’re always looking for the newest and most effective. Another thing is that we make it our business to make the clinic atmosphere very cozy so patients feel like they’re a part of our family. This is definitely our edge in the market.

Visions in White Iconic Wedding Dresses By Kate Dannies

Beautiful bridal wear doesn’t come much better than this. If you’re planning a wedding – or even if you’re not – taking inspiration from those who’ve walked down the aisle in the most stunning gowns is well worth a look. From royalty to A-list celebs, these brides had the world’s eyes on them as they said their “I do’s” and they certainly looked fabulous doing it.

Grace Kelly in Helen Rose Perhaps the most iconic wedding dress off all time, the gown that Grace Kelly wore for her 1956 wedding to Prince Rainier was designed by MGM costume designer Helen Rose and was made from 25 yards of silk taffeta, antique rose-point lace and pearls by three dozen seamstresses, who worked on it for six weeks.

Amal Clooney in Oscar de la Renta Amal Clooney is always on the top of our list when it comes to iconic brides and to-die-for wedding dresses. The Oscar de la Renta bridal gown she wore to wed George Clooney in 2014 in Italy was the stuff wedding dress dreams are made of.

Queen Rania in Bruce Oldfield Back in 1993, the Jordanian beauty and noted fashionista married King Abdullah bin Al-Hussein in this gold-embroidered wedding gown designed by Bruce Oldfield, the designer who created many of Princess Diana’s evening gowns. The epitome of royal class.

Audrey Hepburn in Pierre Balmain Audrey Hepburn married actor Mel Ferrer in September 1954, after starring with him on Broadway in the play Ondine. She wore a typically full-skirted Fifties ballerina-length style by Pierre Balmain with roses in her hair. Simply perfect.

Solange Knowles in Humberto Leon for Kenzo Solange Knowles eschewed many of the traditional wedding elements to marry her long-term love Alan Ferguson. The bride arrived for the ceremony, which took place in New Orleans, on a bike and wore a StĂŠphane Rolland jumpsuit before switching into a Humberto Leon for Kenzo gown. We love her offbeat style!

57

Jacqueline Kennedy in Ann Lowe Jacqueline Kennedy wore a full-skirted dress by New York designer Ann Lowe when she married future US President John F. Kennedy in 1953. She completed her look with little white gloves and a full veil. The marriage was ill-fated (John F. Kennedy was assassinated in 1963), but the look is eternal.

Queen Soraya in Christian Dior Soraya’s gown by Christian Dior might be the most over the top gown of all time. Made of 37 yards of silver lamÊ studded with pearls, 6,000 diamond pieces, and 20,000 marabou feathers, the creation weighed 20 kilograms. The strapless dress came with a matching jacket and veil for the ceremony itself as well as a full-length white mink cape to keep the bride warm. Royal, indeed!

Pippa Middleton in Giles Deacon British couturier Giles Deacon dressed Pippa Middleton for her 2017 nuptials. The look was elegant and stately but not staid, classy but not too conventional. Constructed entirely of lace with a tulle-filled train, it was teamed with a Stephen Jones pearl-studded veil, a Maidenhair Fern tiara and Manolo Blahnik shoes.

Best Moments from the Royal Wedding By Daniela Bonetto

Official Royal Wedding Photo

If anyone’s eyes were glued to the box those were our Editor, Daniela Bonetto’s. Here are some of her favourite moments from the Royal Wedding. Any wedding is OMG-amazing but if there was one that had us all in a frantic twizzle that was Meghan and Harry’s. We gawked at the gloriously sunny day, at the fabulous guest list and at the most stunning bride who made her entrance solo up the stairs of St. George’s Chapel to greet her prince charming gleaming at the altar. It couldn’t have been more perfect.

Charles Spencer, Earl Spencer and his wife, Countess Spencer

A ROYAL BUILD UP The anticipation of the day was the most exciting of all. Royal-wedding mania gripped not only the capital but the entire planet. Great Britain united and pulled out ALL.THE.STOPS. A sea of Union Jacks flew high on Regent Street, and the bunting, balloons and street parties which overtook the world demonstrated the unanimous joy that was shared in all corners of the country and beyond. From Windsor to Wisconsin the happiness was palpable.

THE GUESTS Somehow, we all felt like guests that this party. Perhaps it’s because the couple are somewhat more relatable than the other royals or its the simplicity in their ways. But that aside the invitees to this celebration were utterly divine. According to us, and what seems like the entire planet, the winner for best dressed royal wedding guest goes to Amal Clooney in her sunny yellow Stella McCartney dress with its tulip skirt and Obi draped back, finished with a veiled saucer hat. THE HATS We adore Ascot for its flash of head pieces, but this bash beat any racing day to date. We couldn’t pick just one, but we figure that Phillip Treacy had his hands full and right about now must be de-stressing on an exotic beach somewhere. Job well done mate!

David and Victoria Beckham

Amal and George Clooney

Idris Elba and Sabrina Dhowre

THE LOOK OF LOVE Is it just me or did everyone get a tingle in their tummy every time the bride and groom looked at each other? Let’s hope that look last for many years to come. THE ACCESSORIES Can we just take a minute to mention her accessories? Whilst the couple were busy being mesmerised by each other we managed to get the perfect view of Queen Mary’s diamond bandeau tiara from 1932. On par with the tiara, was her sixteen-foot veil, embroidered with 53 different flowers to represent every country of the commonwealth. JUST MARRIED! I present you Meghan and Harry, husband and wife. After months of anticipation we finally saw Harry grow up and put a ring on it. Oh, and a kiss, the pure thrill of it!

EXHIBITIONIST

Cairo Revealed The World of the Fatimids By Kate Dannies

Cairo’s rich history spans centuries and boggles the imagination. Luckily, the new The World of the Fatimids exhibition at Toronto’s Aga Khan Museum is presenting one of the city’s richest historical and cultural moments in a beautiful and digestible format, bringing together 87 pieces from collections across the globe. Some, like a series of engraved marble panels from a Fatimid palace in Cairo, have never been publicly displayed before. The World of the Fatimids also marks the first major exhibition on the Fatimid dynasty to go on view in North America.

The World of the Fatimids bears witness to a remarkable dynasty that built one of the world’s oldest universities, compiled one of its greatest libraries, and fostered a flowering of the arts and sciences.. The exhibition marks the first time a carefully selected collection of masterpieces from the Fatimid dynasty are shown in North America. Among the objects are monumental marble reliefs, never before shown abroad, from the Museum of Islamic Art in Cairo, luxury objects ranging from rock crystal and ivory to ceramic lusterware — a technique mastered during Fatimid times — and masterpieces of metalware. Drone videography and 360 virtual reality films conjure up Cairo and offer insight into what the city was like a millennium ago. At its height in the 10th and 11th centuries, the Fatimids established one of the greatest civilizations in the world, influencing knowledge and culture throughout the Mediterranean, Europe, and the Near East. After the Fatimids conquered Egypt, they chose Cairo as their capital city, and built it into a thriving metropolis filled with sumptuous architecture and a diverse culture. After Saladin finally brought an end to the dynasty in 1171, Fatimid art and architecture were deliberately destroyed. As a result of these cataclysmic events, very little of

Fatimid material culture survives today—an unfortunate reality that makes a new exhibition on Fatimid art on view at Toronto’s Aga Khan Museum all the more remarkable. The dearth of surviving Fatimid objects presented a unique challenge for the curators of the exhibition. The narrative that unfolds through the artifacts on display reveals an opulent, sophisticated culture, with an influence that stretched all the way to Europe and the Near East. On view are elaborately engraved metal items. The Fatimids owned thousands of items made from rock crystal, some of which can be seen at the new exhibition. There is, for instance, a chess set made entirely from crystal, and a thick crystal crescent that was later taken to Europe and incorporated into the finial of a priest’s chair. Another highlight is a large ivory wine horn, its surface packed with engravings of animals. The Fatimids adhered to the Ismaili branch of Shi’i Islam. While they notably clashed with Sunni Muslims of the Abbasid dynasty, which was based in Baghdad, at home in Egypt, which boasted large populations of Jews and Coptic Christians, the Fatimids co-existed peacefully with other religions—a reality borne out in the artifacts on view at the Aga Khan. An 11th-century bowl, adorned with gold paint and covered with a shimmering glaze, shows a Coptic priest swinging an incense burner. The bowl is clearly a luxury item, suggesting that the Coptic clergy enjoyed elevated status in the Fatimid world. The exhibition also features an ornate wooden mihrab, or prayer niche, from the Cairo mausoleum of a Muslim holy woman. Nearby is a photograph of an arch from the Ben Ezra synagogue in Cairo, which is very similar in design. Craftsmen of the Fatimid era, it seems, were executing grandiose works of architecture for multiple religious denominations. The World of the Fatimids opened in March and runs through 3 July 2018, so there is still time to take in this rare landmark display of Cairo’s rich heritage. If you find yourself in Toronto this summer be sure to stop by and check it out and enjoy the beautiful architecture of the Aga Khan Museum and the other displays of art, artefacts and historical insight on the Muslim World that the museum has to offer.

DRIVEN

It’s

Electrifying!

The Jaguar E-Type Zero By Kate Dannies

Enzo Ferrari famously described the Jaguar E-Type as “the most beautiful car ever made”, and it’s hard to argue. In contrast, most modern electric cars leave a lot to be desired in the looks department. So Jaguar decided to convert an original 1960s E-Type into a fully electric sports car concept for the modern age. Dubbed the Jaguar E-Type Zero, this all-electric beauty is the latest creation from Jaguar Land Rover Classic, a division that gives some of the company’s most iconic cars new leases of life as continuation models. We are fast fans of this new ride, a true marriage of the best of old and new.

Electric cars are now accepted as future volume models for most automakers, but Jaguar Land Rover has taken a very different approach to showcase its future electric models. In fact, it’s not a concept for a car of the future at all, but a half-century-old Jaguar E-Type fitted with the most modern of electric running gear. Revealed at the Jaguar Land Rover Tech Fest in London to coincide with Jaguar’s plans to have every new car electrified from 2020, the E-Type Zero is based on an original Series 1.5 Roadster. From the outside, it looks like an original specification 1968 E-Type. JLR Classic has added more efficient LED lights and tweaked some details, but these changes are still in keeping with the original E-Type’s styling. The E-Type Zero doesn’t lose its driving characteristics with the switch from gasoline to electric power. Instead of the classic XK inline-6 engine, an electric motor and a 40-kilowatt-hour battery pack are located there—which doesn’t alter the car’s weight distribution. In fact, the E-Type Zero weighs 100 pounds less than a traditional E-Type and boasts a range of 170 miles per charge. The E-Type Zero’s aerodynamics and low weight help the battery pack make the most of its charge. The rebuilt E-type looks the same as the original, but it actually beats its performance with a 0-60mph time of under 5.5 seconds, which is around 1 second better than the gas-powered classic Series 1 version. The all-electric E-Type is a clever solution to what may become a real issue in the future: limits on vehicles with tailpipes, especially those used in city centers. We are excited to see legendary automakers like Jaguar moving in the right direction with appealing, technology-forward solutions to what is rapidly becoming a redundant choice between environmental consciousness and style. The days of the Prius are long behind us, and we couldn’t be happier.
