FLASH Magazine: Fundraiser Highlight Issue

THE HIGHLIGHT ISSUE

Editors’ Letter Dear Donor, This year, FLASH Magazine is releasing our 13th and 14th issues. With a completely new board, we are ready to transform our legacy into something that carries for generations of editors to come. Since 2012, FLASH has built itself to be the most-followed magazine between the two Fordham campuses, and our editors have gone on to build careers and reputations at prestigious publications such as Marie Claire and Cosmopolitan. Last year, the funding and recognition we gained provided the necessary platform for building our brand on a larger scale than before. The success we have garnered has bolstered our ability to shoot in professional studios with accomplished photographers and build our recent issues with a phenomenally talented group of illustrators and graphic designers. We want to break the glass ceiling starting with issue 13, and we are looking for sponsors to become a part of this endeavor. FLASH is not a Fordham-funded publication. In the past, the majority of our funding has come from donations, but considering our steadily increasing audience, we would like to offer potential donors a chance to partner with the magazine and sponsor a layout. Those looking to donate without becoming sponsors are still very welcome, but should you choose to sponsor, we would like to express our gratitude with a gift that includes a copy of the issue you have sponsored as well as credit in your sponsored layout! Many of the editors have developed this magazine year-round since the beginning of their college careers, and as it has been handed down to us, we are ready to showcase the full potential of our publication. In this booklet is our most recent work from issue 12 – the Sensation Issue. As you flip through the best of FLASH so far, we invite you to join us in not only catapulting the successes of FLASH’s editors, but finally bringing the full scope of that success to its pages. For inquiries about sponsors, donations, or the magazine, please email flashmagboard@gmail.com If you are looking to donate, our Go Fund Me can be accessed here: https://www.gofundme.com/f/ flash-magazine-issue-13. Donors who would like to be recognized as sponsors can donate to the Go Fund Me linked above, and email flashmagboard@gmail.com with your name, company, contact information, and the amount donated. Thank you, and we look forward to working with you! XOXO, The FLASH Editors

OUR BEAUTY PICKS The best product I could take off of my beauty shelf and give to anyone would undoubtedly be Muji’s Milk Cleanser. Anyone with dry skin knows that face washing, especially with soap, can feel like a hazard. Every night, I pair this milky cleanser with my daily moisturizer, and my makeup washes right off without the stress of dry or imbalanced skin!

My holy grail is the Klairs Vitamin C Serum. If you have sensitive skin like me, you completely understand how easy it is for your acne to scar your skin. This serum has vitamin C which is great for keeping your skin tone even, preventing hyper-pigmentation, and keep your skin bright and youthful! Since vitamin C on your skin isn’t recommended during the day, I like to incorporate this product in my nightly routine right after my toner and essences!

My top beauty product would have to be the CeraVe Moisturizing Cream. I have been using this product for years now and I will never ever use another lotion. It is unscented, and seeps into the skin in a matter of seconds, which is great for anyone with sensitive skin. I apply it on my face and body every morning and night,

keeping my skin glowy, soft and healthy as ever.

My go-to beauty secret is keeping my skin protected from the sun! Everyday after moisturizing, I smooth on my Glossier Invisible Shield . It applies clear without any streaks and smells amazing! Don’t be afraid to use it if you’re also wearing makeup because it’s super lightweight and doesn’t affect the way make up applies to the skin. There are seriously no flaws in this product...I can’t recommend it enough!
