Message from the Mayor Since 1985, Flato Markham Theatre has been the premiere cultural hub in Markham for those seeking the thrill of the stage or a touch of arts and culture. Its size makes it the perfect place to take in an intimate jazz performance, an exciting rock n’ roll concert, or for a fully staged Ballet production, Markham has long been known for its diversity and inclusiveness – it’s part of what makes our city such an amazing place to call home. The award-winning and multi-platinum selling band have achieved international success, performing thousands of live shows and hundreds of national and international TV appearances on five continents.
