Care
Buy fresh flowers that have been properly treated by the grower. This will give a longer vase life. Select a clean vase and fill it with tap water (room temperature).
Add cut flower food (Chrysal, Floralife, Vaselife) to the water for a longer vase life.
Use the special cut flower food for this product.
Trim 3 to 5 cm diagonally off the stem with a clean and sharp knife or secateurs.
Make sure there are no leaves hanging in the water.
Do not place flowers in a draught, in full sun or near a source of heat.
Regularly top up with tap water.
These flowers drink a lot. Check them regularly!
Do not place the flowers near a fruit bowl. Fruit emits ethylene gas which will cause the flowers to age more rapidly. Where possible leave the thorns on the stems.
Watch out for flowers that are insufficiently ripe: they will open less successfully.
For floral work: soak florist's foam (oasis) thoroughly and add cut flower food (Chrysal, Floralife, Vaselife) to the water.
