∂ Product news RENZO BORGONOVO SRL AND FNT SRL Renzo Borgonovo Srl and FNT Srl would like to propose here again the new hot embossing machine Borgore 500/ITI, which sent the old Borgore 800/ITI into a well deserved retirement. The new model reaches a working width of 500 mm., allowing more room for the embossing of small to medium panels and parquet boards. As per our other smaller and bigger hot embossing machine models, Renzo Borgonovo’s Borgore 500/ITI is available in both gas or fully electrical heating systems, and can be equipped with teleservice module for remote troubleshooting, external chiller, and roller’s changing device, for its smooth and satisfactory use! Talking instead about new patterns, the “Wide Criss Cross” design has been designed and came to light at the very end of last year. The new pattern is a band sawn style one, defined by a main direction of cut plus a second cut, which intermittently crosses the first one, creating thus a scenic country style look! TRADITIONAL HABO PARQUET FOR LISTED BRASSERIE “LE CIRIO” Next to the Bourse (Stock Exchange) of Brussels you will find brasserie “Le Cirio”, an architectural gem in typical Belle Epoque style. The history of this elegant cafe begins in 1886 when Italian businessman Francesco Cirio, famous for his cans of tomato paste, opens a delicacies shop with a tearoom. In 1923 it will become a cafe-brasserie. Of all the celebrities that liked to frequent “Le Cirio” Jacques Brel was the most famous. The original beautiful chandeliers, wall panelling and stained glass are preserved. But the interior and glass canopy were in need of a thorough restoration. The brasserie is partially listed heritage and so the interior was restored according to the techniques of 1923 and in consultation with the Department of Conservation. Eurobel Projet replaced 175m² of linoleum flooring with a solid 9mm herringbone in French oak bis from Habo that was glued and pinned onto a mosaic subfloor. A traditional way of fitting that perfectly matches this historical cafe.
LEPLANG (SAW MILL) The Leplang family (B) has been sawing oak wood for over 60 years. Today, the family business has an extensive sawing capacity (30m³ per day) and the enterprise is one of the last industrial saw mills in Wallonia. With its headquarters in Alle-Sur-Semois in Southern Wallonia, the business draws its stock from regional forests. After selecting the raw material thoroughly, the Leplang family saws, dries, and treats only local oak with fine cuts. Its brighter colour and the delicacy of the fibres make it possible to produce sawn wood which is particularly well suited to completing homes with a warm and modest atmosphere. They offer the following: sawn wood of 15 to 100mm, sawn planks, floorboards, wood blocks, and finger-jointed wood from first choice to rustic; parquet, planks, and indoor furnishing, with tongue and groove, oiled; beams up to 9.5 metres long, garden wood, edging, terrace planks, etc. Furniture and slabs for the catering sector, but also for design and interior design.
