am pleased to bring you another issue of Florida MD. .This time of year is special to all of us regardless of religious persuasion. It is especially important to children. However, it can be a particularly distressing time for children that are neglected, abandoned or live in abusive homes. The Children’s Home Society of Florida tries to make a better life for these children by finding them a loving home either temporarily through foster care or permanently through adoption. But there are a lot of children – nearly 20,000 – in Florida who can’t live safely with their families right now. They need more than Children’s Home Society of Florida … they need all of us.
