Data: Simplified SPIRIT already comprises the most complete and comprehensive database of UK schools … but even we’d concede that it hasn’t always been the easiest to use. It’s time for change … We’ve spent the last 12 months simplifying every aspect of the database to make it easier for you and your team to use and assimilate data. Our simplification philosophy is based on the common sense adage of gradual disclosure. For example, our new Organisation Groups will help you focus quickly on targets. Start to drill down using simple classifications such early years, primary schools, secondary schools and post-16. Then drill deeper using specifics such as Key Stage or age range. We use the same process for Contacts too. Start with Senior Leadership, Subject Heads, Back Office or Influencers. Then drill into subject specifics or management roles.
Performance Data You probably know already that SPIRIT embeds 10 years of school performance data. By harnessing that data, we have created a simplified set of KPI’s for each subject and measure. So now you can search the database and select on the basis of: • • •

* relative performance can be further interrogated by region, size and type. Inspection Data Few would argue that Ofsted has changed the education landscape forever. We recognise that you need to take full advantage of the insights that Ofsted inspection reports provide. That’s why you can now perform a free text search on the entire text of every Ofsted report ever published.
