Rheudasil Park NOWOPEN!
Rheudasil Park, located at 2401 Lake Forest Blvd., is named after Bob Rheudasil, the first mayor of Flower Mound. The 10.02 acre community park was deeded to the Town in 1987.

The park renovation project dates back to December 2014 with the approval of the site-specific conceptual master plan. Once the dredging and bank stabilization project was completed in 2018, design work began. In 2021, construction work began on a complete redesign of the park.
The newly renovated Rheudasil Park opened on Aug. 27, 2022. The park offers new amenities, which include a new lighted boardwalk, playground area, basketball court, pavilion and restroom structures, enhanced landscaping, a small fishing pier, and sidewalk renovations along Lake Forest Boulevard.
