Nicki Minaj appeared yesterday (October 15) at a launch event for her Kmart clothing collection. The line, which is also available at shopyourway.com, was inspired by Chanel, Versace and Herve Leger, the rapper says, as per billboard. com. The line includes a pink velour track suit, a faux fur trapper hat, midriff-baring tops, patterned leggings and dresses, as well as jewelry, clutches and bejeweled caps, according to billboard.com. Items on the line are priced between $3.99 for a studded bracelet and $37.99 for a denim jacket. Nicki Minaj says that she understands that celebrities such as herself without formal design training may face skepticism from the fashion world, but she said that it’s “not about being a designer,” according to Billboard.com’s story. She says she just wanted to make clothes that she would love to wear. Since emerging several years ago, Nicki Minaj has been rap’s preeminent female artist. In 2010, the Queens, New York rapper became the first female emcee to have seven songs on the Billboard Top 200 Singles charts. Kendrick Lamar & Drake Among BET Hip Hop Awards Winners Kendrick Lamar and Drake are among the winners at BET Hip Hop Awards, as the complete list of the winners is released. This year’s BET Hip Hop Awards aired yesterday (October 16). The event included performances from various acts, including 2 Chainz, Meek Mill and French Montana. The BET Hip Hop Awards also included various cyphers, including the much-discussed TDE edition where Kendrick Lamar reportedly dissed Drake. MC Lyte was honored at the event with the “I Am Hip Hop” award, which was given to the veteran rapper for her work within the culture since her start in the late 1980s. The evening also featured several other awards. The category of “Best Hip Hop Video” was nabbed by Drake’s “Started from the Bottom.” The selection off Drake’s Nothing Was The Same also earned two other wins, “The People’s Champ” award and the “Track of the Year” award.
Kendrick Lamar took home coveted awards as well. Lamar nabbed the “MVP of the Year” award and was named “Lyricist of the Year.”

So tell us about your experience shooting with MQProductions. I had a great time: good vibes, good chemistry. MQ’s vision is sick. What are some of your goals and expectations with modeling? There are too many to mention. I want to do it all. I was that one kid growing up saying they wanted to be a police officer, firefighter and doctor at the same time. I am happy and thankful for all the opportunities that have been offered to me. Who or what inspired you to model ? Tyra banks inspired me to model. I always watched Americas Next Top Model. I dreamed of moving to California and seeing my name in lights.

The Obama Care or The Affordable Care Act, ACA was launched on October 1, 2013. A change in the landscape for consumers has come. This is the beginning of a new era in the history of the United State of America. Consumers can access the ACA program through the Market Place. The Market Place is the shopping Place for health insurance. Regardless of where you live, you can compare health insurance options to find a health plan that meets your needs and fits your budget. This is
an open door for uninsured families, small business and people that are self-employed to have access to quality, affordable, low-cost health insurance. Millions of individuals will have health care coverage for the first time in their lives because of the

Affordable Care Act. In my opinion, the opportunity to purchase affordable health care is a basic human right as the right to freedom itself. Due to the traffic created by too many accessing the website at once, it crashed. The Market Place was built to provide access to 250,000 visitors simultaneously, but we have seen nearly a million of uninsured and uninsurable individuals invade the website. While the system’s crashing was extremely frustrating for many people, it can also be looked upon as a real indicator of success in that so many people want and need the care. Obama care becomes the topic of all conversations at the offices, the kitchen, the dinner table, on Radio and all TV channels. Obama Care is talked about everywhere. However, it is much more than a flavor of the moment; perhaps, it will be with no doubt, a legacy for generations to come, even as Medicaid, Medicare and Social Security currently are so valuable to so many. It’s way too soon to judge and/or criticize this program which is in its infancy. Let’s enjoy the test drive and figure out what needs to be corrected. We have heard from Capitol Hill and the media that Obama Care will be defunded or delayed at any time; however, despite challenges created by the government shutdown, the Market Place is undeniably a reality. Obama Care is alive, and the excitement to be enrolled is running high.
