Reflect on the past year. In what areas did SelfRe help you make an important decision or choice? Maybe the after-school activities you decided to be involved in? Maybe the kinds of people you chose to surround yourself with?

I have another handy tool to help you SelfRe—and get feedback from others too!

Meet the SelfRe BANK!

This bank is filled with lots of SelfRe questions. You can use these questions whenever it’s time to do some reflection. Don’t feel like you have to use all the questions every time. Pick and choose the ones that are the most helpful to you in each unique situation.

SelfRe thoughts about yourself · Do you like who you have become? · What are your main strengths? · What’s your favorite thing about · yourself? What would you like to change for the better in the future? Anything worth doing is worth doing well. Give it 100%!

Part 9 PAYING IT FORWARD

When you learn, teach. When you get, give.

— Maya Angelou, American poet

We’ve got one more really important area to cover. Let’s talk a little about paying it forward. Throughout this book, I’ve poured information and inspiration into you. As you’ve set about achieving your goals, perhaps you’ve had people, such as role models or mentors, who’ve helped you along the way.

It’s your turn to fill someone else with inspiration and knowledge. In this case, paying it forward means being inspirational to someone else just like someone inspired you.

That’s right! Once you’ve achieved your goals, you can be the inspiration for someone else!

Do this by being someone else’s cheerleader. Do this by being someone else’s listening ear.

Do this by becoming someone else’s check-in partner. Do this by becoming someone else’s mentor.

You can do this, Girl. PAY IT FORWARD!
