Founded by then-12-year-old Kent Kolstad in 1999, Livewire has provided world-class live event audio, video, lighting, staging, scenery and streaming to the region for decades. Origninally based in Alexandria, MN, Kolstad moved the business to its current home in Fargo, ND in 2006. Today, the Livewire team consists of 31 employees with clients across the United States.

Livewire creates stunning and impactful event experiences for nationally-known clients like Amazon, Google and Microsoft, as well as local and statewide organizations like the Lignite Energy Council, Bismarck-Mandan Chamber of Commerce, University of Mary, Bismarck State University, The Greater North Dakota Chamber and the State of North Dakota.
