EMPLOYEE BENEFITS: Julie Schirado, Sales & Account Executive

Bismarck-Mandan has always been home to Julie Schirado. Growing up, attending school and college, and working and volunteering in the area, Julie knows the importance of this community and being there for its members.

Schirado is the Sales and Account Executive at Azurance Group and has been with the company for two decades. She specializes in finding the right insurance products for the right businesses, whether they are groups of two or two hundred. She’s there for employees’ exciting moments, like finding the right fit of benefits after accepting a new job, as well as their hardest moments, like life-altering diagnoses or death claims.

Schirado was named Top Sales Producer in 2017 and Top Volunteer in 2022 by Best of the Best for her work with the charity she helped to found, Furry Friends Rockin’ Rescue.

“I’m always amazed at how the Bis-Man community gives back so much to charities and organizations that help out; my coworkers are always so supportive and willing to get involved to help, also,” Schirado said. “If it wasn't for the gracious giving of some of our area businesses, rescuing animals would be nearly impossible.”
