FAQs Q. What is the shelf life? A. The content will promote information that can be used as a resource for 12 months. Q. How many will be printed? A. Enough guides will be printed to reach every residential mailbox in Fargo, Moorhead and West Fargo. The Direct Mail estimate is around 93,000. Also, approximately 7,000 additional books will be printed for hotel room distribution, call-in orders, recruitment mailings and stand distribution. The total estimate of printed guides is 100,000 copies. Q. How will the guide be distributed? A. The guide will be distributed in multiple channels. The majority of the distribution (about 90%) will be distributed by the United States Postal Service through their Every Door Direct Mail program. About 3,000 copies will circulate throughout the year at local hotels. Roughly 3,000 books will reach businesses in waiting rooms (a single magazine can be read throughout the entire year). The remainder will circulate on stands and sent upon request.

Q. What is the estimated amount of readership? A. This quality guide will appeal to community members all year long. Readers will share with family members and visitors and use it as a resource and keepsake. Fargo By Fargo will also have a digital flip book version that will be distributed digitally through social media, email and Spotlight Media websites. With digital and multiple readers per issue, total readership is estimated to be around 250,000 in 2017.

Q. What is USPS Every Door Direct Mail? A. The United States Postal Service introduced a program called Every Door Direct Mail as a way to bulk saturate a mailing product based on geographical areas. Fargo By Fargo will be mailed to every mailbox in Fargo, Moorhead and West Fargo and the surrounding areas. The book is then dropped into each mailbox by the postal carrier of that specific area.

Q. Will this replace January 2018 Fargo Monthly? A. No. A January Fargo Monthly will still be printed. Q. What size is the book? A. It is the same as a typical magazine: 8.375� x 10.875� Q. What is the deadline? A. Advertising deadline is December 31 and editorial deadline is December 12.

Q. Will there be any special sections? A. At the moment, there are plans to run a section that will be inserted with perforated tear-out coupons. A career section will highlight companies who are hiring within out community. There will also be special sections for different industries.

Q. How many pages will it be? A. Fargo By Fargo is estimated to be about 200 pages. Q. What makes this different than any other Visitors Guide? A. The main difference between the guide and a visitors guide is that Fargo By Fargo relates to the residents of Fargo, Moorhead and West Fargo and is not limited to visitors. This means that the book will provide specific information and resources to residents. It will focus on hidden gems and activities that community members might not be aware of. Fargo By Fargo will challenge the community to become more involved and create more impact within the area. Q. What will be covered editorially? A. In addition to entertainment, shopping and dining, Fargo By Fargo will also focus on leadership, business, home, real estate, careers, fitness and more. The editorial team at Spotlight Media will find creative ways to showcase positive and impactful information that will encourage and engage our community members to become more involved.

Q. How often will this book run? A. This will run once a year in January and the content will be relevant for the whole year. Q. Will there be a digital version? A.
