04 INTRODUCTION Join us to grab the rising opportunities in Africa in 2024

T

he Covid-19 pandemic, the ravages of climate change and the changing geo-political environments, which is exemplified by the Ukraine-Russia War have led to new opportunities to develop local capacity in Africa. From health, to food, to agriculture to financial services, the Continent is yearning for the day it will manage to stand on its feet and be self-reliant – especially if it can tap into its vast natural and human resources It is for this reason that our company FW Africa has taken a strategic focus on doubling our efforts on innovation projects that will enable tap into these new opportunities across Africa – and tapping into our more than 10 years

of facilitating sustainable business transformation in the region. AMBITIOUS GOALS, NEW AREAS OF GROWTH As we head towards 2024, we are happy to share with our readers, partners and other stakeholders our commitment to continue pushing the boundaries of innovation, as we seek to expand our influence beyond the food industry that we have served diligently since 2013, when we debuted our Food Business Africa magazine Ten years on, we have since expanded our magazines and websites, publishing six titles, with two others in the pipeline. In the events realm, we have moved beyond the food industry, venturing into the

healthcare, agriculture and general leadership and entrepreneurship space As we transition into a broader publisher of magazines and events organizing business, we have also recently boosted our new business line – dubbed FW Africa StoryLabs – which is involved in documentaries production, websites development, social media planning and execution, PR and marketing communications, videography and photography and many other ways to help you make your brand shine!! We welcome you on this new journey!! Francis Juma Founder & CEO FW Africa
