FROM THE PRESIDENT Merry Christmas! As President, as well as a singing member of the Waukesha Choral Union, it is my honor and privilege to welcome you to our 2011 holiday concert, “A Collage of Carols”. The holiday season makes one reflect on the many things for which we are thankful. It is a time for rejoicing and celebration. I am thankful for our wonderful director, and the dedicated musicians that make up our group. I am thankful to our donors and advertisers, without whom our organization could not survive. Most of all I am thankful that you, our audience, have come to share the joy of our celebration. We are all truly fortunate to be able to celebrate the holiday season through the gift of music, rejoicing in song to glorify our savior’s birth. My hope is that you enjoy this celebration as much as we do, and participate fully in the sing-a-longs it truly is good for the soul. To prolong the musical celebration of the season, I invite you to order one of our new CD’s. Just recorded, it features many of the wonderful selections that you will hear this evening. In any event, I hope that you enjoy the concert enough to invite friends, family members, and neighbors to experience the wonderful performances that will make up the rest of our 2011-2012 season.
