Titanium is harder than steel, but lighter than aluminum. Black Ti™ has a ceramic hard surface, but the ductility of a metal, making it perfect for wear. All metals can scratch, but Titanium is abundantly more scratch resistant than other metals in the market. GRAY TITANIUM • Natural, gray titanium was the first element introduced to the traditional jewelry world. • This element is not only hypoallergenic, it is extraordinarily biocompatible. In many cases it is the only metallic solution for consumers who are sensitive to conventional jewelry materials. Titanium’s biocompatibility makes it the metal of choice in the medical industry as a component for the artificial heart, joint replacement parts and various other applications. • It is corrosion and scratch resistant and has the highest strength to weight ratio of any known element.

ARGENTIUM® STERLING SILVER • It is the finest silver. • Argentium is more tarnish resistant than traditional sterling silver. • Argentium is always purer than traditional sterling silver. • Has natural beauty with the natural color of pure silver through and through. • It is brighter than platinum, white gold and traditional sterling silver. It is the whitest of them all. • Argentium silver is low maintenance, easy to care for and simple to clean. • Argentium guarantees traceability of its raw silver. It is certified that Argentium is produced using only recycled silver.

BLACK TI™ • Each piece of Black Ti™ possesses the same benefit to the consumer as gray titanium. However, it provides a rich, clean and distinctive black look to the metal that will not chip away and is not an “applied” coating. • Black Ti™ is a proprietary alloy that miraculously experiences an atomic transformation at the molecular level to become as hard as ceramic. The titanium turns black from the outside in by exposing the element to extreme heat. • The severe hard attribute created through this unique and exciting process yields a supremely scratch resistant surface in Black Ti™ pieces.

MAINTENANCE AND CARE • Cleaning – Contemporary metals jewelry should be cared for in the same manner as all fine items. Clean with a regular polishing cloth or warm water and a non-abrasive soap or cleaner and dry completely. Any gray titanium piece of jewelry with a satin finish (stress satin finish) may be polished with a Scotchbrite™ pad to remove any minor scratches. The consumer should rub the piece with the pad in the same direction to achieve the desired finish. For pieces that are anodized using Gray Titanium (as in the Radiance collection of bands), the colored portions are recessed to protect from any surface abrasion concerns. If there is ever any dulling to the color it is usually due to lotions or perfumes and a simple steam, or cleaning with hot soapy water will restore the color.

ANODIZED TITANIUM • Titanium has a unique attribute, allowing it to be anodized. • Various colors can be produced through the use of electricity. This process creates crystals on the surface of the metal forming prisms of color. • The consistency of color is achieved through using the same voltage. Each voltage will create a certain color, which has lent to titanium’s nickname “The Rainbow Metal.” BLACK MEMORY CABLE • Edward Mirell proudly incorporates Black Titanium Cable into its creations. • It is considered a memory alloy, as it maintains a predetermined profile under severe abuse. It is for this reason that titanium memory cable is widely used in the medical and optical industries. • The cable is made with 49 strands of titanium wire that, to touch, possess a soft and silk-like feel. • There are many casted and low-grade reproductions, but few, if any, deliver the same look, versatility and quality as the Black Titanium Memory Cable used in the Edward Mirell collections. TIMOKU™ • A crowning element used in the Edward Mirell collection is Timoku™ • The name was derived by combining the term Mokume Gane and the atomic symbol for titanium, Ti. Mokume Gane is an ancient Japanese metalworking technique that when translated means “wood-grain metal.” • Timoku™ designs symbolize the joining of two souls into a single integrated creation, far greater in strength than its components, yet still preserving the essence of individuality. During the Samurai Era, Mokume Gane was used to create adornments on the handles of the Samurai’s sword. These marks were considered to be symbols of status and wealth. • Today the technique is used to create contemporary art and jewelry. The process involves layering thin sheets of black and gray titanium and exposing them to extreme heat and pressure which causes the layers to fuse rather than melt together. • The end result is a unique and distinctive layered pattern in the metal that mimics the grain on wood. • It is the representation of the harmony of nature as embodied in wood, while having the strength and polish of metal.

• Emergency removal – All Edward Mirell rings can be removed using a standard cutting device. Two (2) cuts must be made 180 degrees from each other because the material cannot be bent if only one (1) cut is made. For example, a cut at the top and a cut at the bottom of the ring thus separating it in half will be necessary. • Engraving – Gray titanium can be engraved with a standard jewelry engraver. Black Ti™ and Timoku™ require laser engraving. • Sizing rings – The Edward Mirell brand has a Ring for Life program. For $35 the ring can be exchanged for another size provided the ring is still active in the Edward Mirell collection. ALL JEWELRY ARRIVES WITH CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY AND LIMITED WARRANTY Edward Mirell fine jewelry has a manufacturer’s limited lifetime warranty that extends to the original consumer purchase. In the event of any defects in the materials or workmanship, the manufacturer will repair or replace it with a design of equal or greater value. EDWARD MIRELL LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY • The warranty covers any defects in the materials or workmanship. • Spectore will repair or replace the item with a design of equal or greater value. • The warranty does not cover loss, damage caused by abuse, or damages exceeding the cost of the product. EDWARD MIRELL RING FOR LIFE PROGRAM • The Ring for Life Program is for customers that need a larger or smaller size Edward Mirell band. • These bands cannot be sized, so for a $35 fee the consumer can get their band replaced with the correct size.

STOCK BALANCE • The stock balance program is granted to customers whose balance is current and have shown activity in the last nine (9) months. All merchandise returned for stock balancing must be in separate bags, must not have been resold to the customer and must be in brand new condition. • Any discontinued item not shown in the current catalog cannot be returned or exchanged under the Stock Balance Program. • All stock balance orders must be accompanied by an order which has a positive dollar ($) value. In the event the order is of lesser value, the value of the item(s) will remain on account towards future purchases of Edward Mirell only. • Merchandise returned for stock balance can only be exchanged for other Edward Mirell merchandise and not for outright credit(s). • All Stock balance orders must be completed in a timely manner and customer merchandise will be held on the Edward Mirell account for a maximum of 90 days. • The account returning the merchandise can only exchange product(s) that it has purchased from Quality Gold.
