Bus: 191 to Forty Hill; W10 to roundabout at Myddelton Avenue and 10 minute walk to Forty Hill. Tube: Oakwood (Piccadilly Line) and buses 307 or 121 to Enfield Town Windmill Hill, then 191 to Forty Hill.

Cycle: Forty Hall Park Greenway linking Hadley Wood to Enfield Island Village. Bike racks available and free bike hire offered. Car: Free onsite car parking available (including disabled parking). Junction 25 off the M25. Follow the heritage signs from the junction of Bullsmoor Lane or Carterhatch Lane on A10. Gardens and Parkland The 273 acre Grade II Listed Estate is as a rare example of an intact 18th Century landscape. Forty Hall Grade I Listed Forty Hall (1632) was built for former Lord Mayor of London and haberdasher Sir Nicholas Rainton. • Learn about the history of the Hall and Estate and 17th century life • Fine architecture and stunning period rooms • Engaging learning activities for children • Group tours available on request. • Pick up a souvenir from the Cedar Gift Shop

A historic working farm, championing locally-produced organic food and run by Capel Manor College. Go behind-the-scenes of the Farm to meet the rare-breed livestock and to visit the Farm’s busy market garden, community orchard and the award-winning Forty Hall Vineyard. Relax with a picnic by the swing or pop in to the farm shop to stock up on organic meat and vegetables produced on the Farm.
