FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS LOCATION Where does Reggae on the Lawn take place? Reggae On The Lawn 2018 takes place at Forty Hall Estate Enfield. We’re extremely honoured to be bringing back Reggae On The Lawn to the beautiful historical grounds of Forty Hall House We ask all customers to show the local area and residents the same respect by arriving and leaving the event quietly and politely, leaving any litter in the bins provided or taking it with you when you depart. Park Address: Forty Hall Forty Hill Enfield EN2 9HA Travel Information How do I get to the event? If you’re coming to the event, we advise that you come by public transport. BUS From where? 191 or W10 from Enfield Town or Enfield Chase stations – simply jump on the 191 bus to Forty Hill and it is then a 5 – 10 minute walk up the hill or take the W10 to roundabout Myddelton Avenue and then it’s a 10 minute walk up Forty Hill LONDON OVERGROUND From Central London to Enfield Town; Enfield Chase or Southbury and 191 bus to Forty Hill. LONDON UNDERGROUND Oakwood (Piccadilly Line) then buses 307 or 121 to Enfield Town Windmill Hill, then 191 to Forty Hill Please use TfL’s journey planner if you need further information.
PARKING Is there car parking? There is very limited parking on site for standard ticket holders. Limited parking is available on a first come basis. Alternative parking will be available 5minutes walk from the venue at Forty Hall School Field. Please note this is run by an independent organisation and Reggae on the Lawn organisers will not be held responsible for any damage or loss to vehicles you must pay for parking on the day. The event organisers advise against parking on Forty Hall road and cars may face penalties if parked illegally. MIHO cannot be held responsible for any cars parked causing obstruction which then incurs charges or removal. Can I cancel or return my ticket? Please note that all tickets are non refundable and non exchangeable. Please see www.fortyhallestate.co.uk for Terms and Conditions ENTRY TO THE EVENT What is the age limit for entry? Please note that all under 18 year olds must be accompanied to Reggae On The Lawn by an adult. An adult cannot be responsible for more than 4 under 18 year olds. Everyone must present a valid ID when they arrive. The only accepted forms of ID are a valid, in date passport or driving licence. To purchase alcohol you may be asked to provide valid photo ID proving you are 18 or over. Please take it as a compliment and if you’re lucky enough to look under 25, make sure you bring your photo ID with you. UNDER 10 YEARS ARE FREE 11-17 – CHILD TICKET PRICE Is there re-entry on the day? There is a strict no re-entry policy on the day. The gates are open from 11.30 –and last entry is at 4pm for all ticket holders. VIP Ticketholders VIP Ticketholders will enter the festival site via Fast Track Entry at the entrance. Will have access to the VIP viewing area as well as the VIP Lounge located in Forty Hall House. VIP tickets include free rum punch (or nonalcoholic punch). *STA (12-5pm)
Prohibited Items Please note that you cannot bring pressurised gas canisters into the venue. You will be asked to surrender any canisters or be refused entry. You cannot bring any liquids into the venue. You are allowed to bring prescribed medication on site when accompanied by a doctor’s note or valid medical certificate. Can I bring my own food & drink?
You cannot bring any food or drink into the festival. E.g. Picnics etc ( excluding baby bottles or food) You can bring your own water for personal consumption in a sealed or unopened bottle. If the bottle is opened you will be subject to a security check for the contents. There are fully licensed bars on site and a selection of street food concessions catering to a variety of tastes. Will there be cash machines? No sorry there will be no cash machines onsite, we recommend bringing all the cash you expect to need for the day with you when you arrive. Applying for disabled access/ PA / carer tickets We provide a free ticket for a personal assistant for those that would be unable to attend or whose experience would be greatly impaired without their presence. Please follow the steps below to apply. The deadline for applications is Monday 30th July 2018. We cannot accept applications submitted after this time. Please let us know in advance when you apply if you require the help of more than one personal assistant or carer for your time at the event. We cannot provide carer tickets on the day. APPLICATION PROCESS: Purchase a festival ticket direct from the Forty Hall. Please email info@reggaeonthelawn.co.uk to request your free ticket for your personal carer or assistant. You will need to quote the ticket reference number of the ticket you purchased and attach a copy of your qualifying document. We will respond to your request within 7 working days
HOW TO QUALIFY FOR A FREE TICKET: Automatic Eligibility A photocopy/scan of one of the following documents (dated within the past 12 months if DLA or Attendance Allowance) submitted with a valid festival ticket reference number: Front page of DLA or PIP letter (no specific rate required) Front page of Attendance Allowance letter (no specific rate required) Evidence that registered person is severely sight impaired (blind) Medical professional’s letter Statement (with option to send alternative evidence) We recognise that the evidence above is not definitive. If you do not have any of the above evidence but wish to apply for a free carer’s ticket, we ask that you email us stating why you require one. Your application will be judged on a case-by-case basis by our Access Officer. I am member of the press, how do I apply for press accreditation?
