Introduction of the Planner Introducing the planner and navigating through it can be fun. If your school has chosen to add policy pages in the front, review those policies as part of your first day. If you have never used a student planner, you will soon find it is a great organizational tool for students. If you have experienced using planners, you already realize the value and help to you and your students.

Home/School Communications – send a letter home to parent/guardians outlining your expectations for planner usage by students.

Personal Data – have the students

school dates, birthdays, holidays and events during the school year.
