OMG. IT’S PAUL THINKING THOUGHTS Hey Dudes and Dudettes, I hope my words find you well. I would like to begin this issue of The Forwardian Gazette by thanking the many friends I have come into contact with over the years since The Forwardian Arts Society began for their healing thoughts and prayers for my mother, Arline Francis Maier Smeltz, who has been recently diagnosed with Colon Cancer and is currently receving Hospice Care. My family and I are coping the best we can and we’re working together to ensure mom is comfortable and her passing will be a profoundly peaceful one. Many of you who are reading this know my mother quite well as she has attended the vast majority of the Art Related functions I’ve been to. Your love and friendship is and always will be deeply appreciated and I know she remembers the times you spent with her with affection even during the moments she is not cognizant of her surroundings. Thank you for being a loving friend to her. The month of June has been quite a remarkable one for the arts and I look forward to spending the Summer Season with you as more events and opportunities to explore the creativity we’ll find around and within us. My personal challenges as the passing of my mother grows neigh touches my heart with sorrow. But, I know our mutual love for the arts and the loving nature of our fellowship will see me through all I encounter. Thank you. I love you. Let’s Art. Well, that’s all from me for now. How are you? Please feel free to ask me any questions you may have about this publication, The Forwardian Arts Society, or anything at all. I promise to tell you everything. I would make a terrible spy. I look forward to hearing from you soon and I'll keep a good thought for you until then. Going Forwardian with you Paul Adam Smeltz The Forwardian Arts Society

“We share the belief that the arts can inspire our creative dreams to become magnificent worlds of our deepest experiences reminding us who we really are. Therefore, our fellowship shares a desire to support, encourage, and explore the artistic experiences of creative individuals and groups as they go forward toward their dreams.” Mission Statement
Wow, we’ve covered a lot of things in this issue. However, many things come to us after the magazine is published. So, I created a weekly version of The Forwardian Gazette to keep art lovers, like yourself, well informed about what’s happening in the arts. Those who donate $20 or more will receive the weekly supplement in their email for a year. Those who donate less than $20 will receive the weekly supplement for a month. Those who are unable to donate anything can receive monthly issues of The Forwardian Gazette upon request. To receive your copy of The Forwardian Gazette Supplemental, please contact us for more information. All proceeds will benefit the printing of the magazine.
As our mission statement suggests, The Forwardian Arts Society is a fellowship for people who love the arts. We define ourselves as a fellowship as compared to an organization because organization suggests some form of hierarchy exists where some members would have the right (or assume to have the right) to tell other member what to do.
WANNA BE A PART OF OUR PUBLICATION?
On the other hand, a fellowship suggests every member is equal to one another and each member’s conduct in The Forwardian Arts Society is We’re looking for an EDITOR IN CHIEF, a FEAonly governed by their love for the arts.
