TREASURER’S REPORT
Aended February 2022 were presented. $1,365,000 – some $496,000 ahead of budget. Income was $161,000 ahead of budget due to above budget membership fees ($99,000) and above budget property income ($118,000), while commissions and interest were below budget by $66,000. Expenditure was reported as below budget by $335,000, primarily due that budgeted. there is expected to be some pressure placed pressure points. You may have recently read in the media that printer Ovato had closed its doors in New Zealand. This is an issue for the NZMCA as they are the printers of our magazine and Travel printer locally that can print our magazine increase. I am sure you have also read about other pressures being placed on the economy and increases. Both the management team and Board are reviewing these areas of exposure and looking increases. coming year(s) as we recover from Covid-19. where I look forward to ke it.
