SNAG Golf SNAG Golf (Starting New At Golf) is a fairly new product that is a fun and easy way for young kids to learn golf. SNAG uses a high quality plastic club that hits tennis balls to velcro targets. We use big bullseye targets, putting flags with velcro bases, and velcro chipping boards. Not to mention the full body velcro suit the instructors will put on!

Team Uniforms Each junior enrolled in the program will get a team uniform. The team will receive a hat and golf shirt. These will primarily be worn to tour-

naments but can certainly be worn to practice. Color System Like in Karate, kids earn color belts as the progress in the program. Our program is similar.

Phase 1, the juniors will have a white shirt, white hat, and white bag tag. The next phase is green, then blue, then the Champions Division is red. Just like in Karate, you have to work for it! Play Days Play Days are once a month (SNAG excluded).

PHASE 3 Junior Interclub Team Ages 8-13 years Competitive Atmosphere Structured Practice and Play Compete against local clubs

Each month the format will change and results are tracked.

SNAG (STARTING NEW AT GOLF) - PHASE 1 $75 per month

Knowledge and Skills at Graduation • Good understanding of rules and etiquette • Familiar with a rule book and how to navigate through it • Advance skill set in all areas of the game • Understanding and ability to control and work the golf ball • Able to self-diagnose swing flaws by ball flight • Basic understanding of ball flight laws • Score below 40 – white tees, girls-red tees

About Phase 1: • 2 hours of group instruction per week- 5:1 student/teacher ratio • (1) 30 minute private lesson per month Skill Level Expected • Brand new to golf • SNAG equipment provided Knowledge and Skills at Graduation • Basic understanding of how to swing a golf club • Social interaction • Consistent contact with golf ball • Able to hit a ball without a tee on occasion • Basic understanding of putting and is able to make a “stroke” • Very basic knowledge of rules and is able to identify areas of a golf course • Very basic etiquette knowledge • Score an 8 on the golf course from 100 yards

CHAMPIONS TEAM - PHASE 4 $175 per month | $25 fee per event About Phase 4: • 4 hours of group practice per week- 5:1 student teacher ratio • (1) 50 minute private lesson per month • Own golf clubs will be required • Skills tests will be administered throughout the year

DEVELOPMENTAL- PHASE 2 $125 per month | $25 fee per event About Phase 2: • 3 hours of group instruction per week- 5:1 student/teacher ratio • (1) 50 minute private lesson per month • Own golf clubs will be needed • Skills tests will be administered throughout the year Skill Level Expected • Consistent contact and airborne on occasion • Very basic rules and etiquette knowledge • Some experience on the golf course • Very basic understanding full swing, chipping, pitching and putting • NTPGA Junior Tour member Knowledge and Skills at Graduation • Basic knowledge of the main rules. (OB, different water hazards, free relief, casual water, lost ball, unplayable lies) • Understanding of full swing, chipping, pitching, putting and bunker shots • Good fundamentals • General knowledge of golf etiquette
