F O U R S E A S O N S G O L F & S P O R T S C L U B C O M M U N I T Y, t is a terrific privilege and an honor to serve the Board of Governors and the Membership as Chairman of the Board of Governors in 2021! We are truly excited that we will be able to get back to some sense of normalcy this year and enjoy our Club to its fullest extent! The Board and Management this year is focusing on “Pride in belonging to a Private Club.”

One of our challenges this year is to reestablish throughout the Club a personal pride in keeping our facility as clean and pristine for all Members and their Guests. With that, we are asking all of the Members to adhere to all of the rules and regulations, in addition to being considerate of others. It’s important to remember to dispose of your trash after your round, rake your bunker, and follow the enter and exit poles when entering the fairway. It is our duty as Members to keep our product in the best condition. The Staff are in a position where they have to be the enforcers of these guidelines that puts them in an adversarial position with the Membership. We are asking all of us

to do our part as great stewards of our Club! We continue to thank all of the Members for adhering to the COVID-19 guidelines. They exist as the Four Seasons is following CDC and Lead With Care Guidelines for the benefit of the Members. The Cure for All Seasons Events, the major charity for the Four Seasons and our Club, are being planned for this year! The charity benefits the Baylor Scott & White Irving Healthcare Foundation. In the past, our Members have been incredible donors in supporting this very worthwhile cause. Throughout 2021 the Board of Governors, Club Committees and Staff, will be hosting various events to raise donations. Save the date for our Spin-A-Thon on Saturday, October 2nd. We will be announcing the other dates soon including events involving tennis, golf and food & beverage. We thank you in advance for your support of these great events and this charity! On a final note, the Board has worked very closely with Jim Kern and Ellen Frost to ensure that the Club is doing all that it can to bring the best experience and value it can to all of the Members. The survey completed back in December will also help provide the direction and actions that the Board and Club can take to continually improve the Member Experience! In fact, the recent survey resulted in many changes in the Member’s Lounge - expanded hours for happy hour and the new menu items. Please continue to bring your ideas and concerns forward to us! Here’s to a terrific spring!!
