Memory Scripture 

If we claim that we’re free of sin, we’re only fooling ourselves. A claim like that is errant nonsense. On the other hand, if we admit our sins-make a clean breast of them-He won’t let us down. Repentance  

Definition: To turn around, reversal Confess your faults to one another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. James 5:16 Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you can live together whole and healed. The prayer of a person living right with God is something powerful to be reckoned with. (The Message)


Forgiveness

Forgiveness is multifaceted   

We ask for forgiveness from God. We ask for forgiveness from others. Matthew 18 We forgive others who have not asked for forgiveness. We forgive others who have asked for forgiveness. We forgive ourselves.


Forgiveness of Others  

Choice of attitude, not a feeling The benefit 

The response  

The consequences for our obedience rests with God. The consequences for our disobedience rests with us.
