________________________________________________________________ I consider myself an enthusiast of design and it’s inherent creative process, I have a passion for pursuing multiple lines of thought and explore various ways of expression.

Since 2005 I have founded and been a part of 57uno estudio, an architectural practice in Colombia, where we have worked hard evolve into a mid size studio with a strong portfolio and great determination. I have always been keen to experiment with different tactics in design, and feel comfortable working by hand, digitally, or a combination of the two. I enjoy working in a group, but I am also comfortable by myself at times. I completed the MA in Architectural Design at The University of Sheffield on 2011, experience that has made a great positive impact in my life. Now that I am residing in the UK, I intend to keep evolving as a designer, it is my firm belief that I can learn and contribute to a design based architectural practice. I consider myself to be a highly creative individual, with great flexibility and determination.

WORK EXPERIENCE ________________________________________________________________ Collaboration with 57uno estudio July 2011 – Current Hotel 150 rooms and convention center of 25000 m2 in the outskirts of Bogota for Promover Gerencia Inmobiliaria and with the possible operation of Hilton.

Project director (team leader), responsible of coordinating the existing regulations of “La Calera” region in Colombia, with the demand for 150 rooms hotel program and 1500 people convention center within it.

Lead conceptual designer, in charge of generating design alternatives with the collaboration of my business partner Pablo Gonzalez. The team is responsible for debating and testing the ideas by developing them into early but functional conceptual projects to be revised by the client, the operator (Hilton) and our company.

In charge of the design development of the conceptual design, elaborating the necessary plans of quick design proposals, evaluating the complex functional issues of a hotel and convention center.
