Luis Amigó apóstol de la juventud.
His life was like a gentle running river, without steep slopes or overflows that would exceed from its channel. flourished in great virtues like charity, poverty, humility, austerity, sacrifice ... the goodness of his beautiful soul is radiated in the grin on his face; smile that neither death could erase.
The life of Luis Amigó His parents: a great example of life Luis Amigó, with sadness and melancholy, recalls the death of his parents: the first was his father's on November 6, 1870, who had only 48 years old; and then, on August 10, 1871, he saw from his mother when he was 46 years old. He always retains great memories of them, and above all a great model to inspire his own life. The robust support of divine providence After the death of his mother recalls the responsibility she had entrusted him to care for his sisters; during this difficult time, he received great support from many people for his family, especially that from the priest Francisco Pérez Montejano, who accompanied them until the day of his death in 1885. A man surrounded by great friends Luis Amigó had four great friends at that time, all with inclination for the religious life. Fondly recalls Isidro Dominguez, who joined the Carthusians in the year 1872, and Joseph Guzman, who after being in the Order of the Trappists got married. The big step toward religious life Finding life in a crossroads between the possibility of entering the army and the lack of clarity about religious life, he received support from Father Francisco Pérez and the model of life of Saint Francis, inspiring him to guide his life. He finally gets to wear the habit of the Third Order in the Franciscan Convent in March 1873.
