wife is ok as well, then heads out for another day of hard work, facing the problems that come with being a mexican immigrant. Xavier has spent the last 10+ years working his way up from a bartender to the co-owner of the

Italian restaurant and bar, Cibo. At first, he started as nothing more than your average Mexican born immigrant; Hard working, resilient but stubborn, not much to his name. When he was little, he loved being active and enjoyed being the center of attention and being with numerous friends. He was also, as many young boys are, a little bit rebellious. like motorcycles and cars. Stuff like that helped him to express himself and he put himself into something that he could give it his full interest and attention. Later on he left home with no one but a friend. Through a Visa, he crossed

the Mexican border into the United States. After that, he got a job as a busboy and began working his way up from there. For years he worked in restaurants and went to night school on the side. Not only did he put in a lot of effort into his job, but he also

On top find it hard to work with of all the paperwork that he does, Xavier also has various responsibilities and has to look over certain processes in the day to day processes of Cibo. As a person, he is very resilient, compassionate, disciplined, and a hard worker, but he is also very hard headed. So, because he is so hard headed, some people may

him. He sees certain thing in black and white, so he sometimes isn’t very appreciative of other people’s points of view. Despite all

of this, he never loses sight of what he sees as important; success through hard work and education. His goals mimic his ideals ; being successful and learning as much as he can. In the near future, Xavier has simple plans. He intends to do as much as he can at Cibo, and learn as much as he can while he is at it. In terms of family life, he intends to raise his son with his wife to the best of their ability. Xavier also supports the rest of his family as well

as he can, constantly reminding his younger family members the importance of education, because if he hadn’t worked hard and kept at his education, he never would have made it to be co-owner of Cibo. So he keeps telling them to do their work and keep their grades high to have the best possible chances of getting into a good college and eventually landing a good job. Xavier always has his family’s best interests at heart, and always wil . 5
