I  accidentally  used  the  Oxford  comma.  That  was  not  meant  to  happen.  Who  decided  that  it  was  not  necessary?  Who  named  it  Oxford?  Maybe  it  prefers  a  different  name,  Fred  or  Jerry  or  Tom.  Did  he  feel  sad  when  they  said  he  was  not  necessary,  just  an  afterthought?  Did  he  pack  his  belongings  and  leave  to  his  banishment,  his  exile  from  language?  Did  he  look  back  with  sadness  with  happiness?  Did  being  used  make  him  exhausted?  Did  it  make  him  happy?  How  could  I  knew  without  his  precise  touch  to  tell  me?  Why  does  a  comma  look  so  pretty  on  a  page?  ,,,,,  pauses  in  the  thought,  the  speech,  gives  meaning,  feeling.  Round  words,  a  bend  in  a  mountain  road.  An  apple.  A  grape  between  the  palate  and  the  : : + I : IG ‚ * I G G banished  bits  of  punctuation.  The  interrobang  (?+!)  and  all  his  friends.  That  mark  that  used  to  be  at  the  start  of  each  chapter?  He  lives  there,  too.
