Be sure to submit updated emergency information at the time of registration
Campers must wear closed-toed shoes and comfortable clothing. Sun shirts, shorts, and hat are recommended for hot sunny days. On swim or water days, flip-flops or sandals may be packed and worn only at the pool or during water play.
Campers must bring sunscreen, reusable water bottle, and snacks. If enrolled in the full day, please bring a bagged lunch.
Don’t forget to bring sunscreen and apply it to your child before coming to camp.

My First Camp
NEW My first camp is an extension of the Tiny Tots Preschool program that offers full days featuring weekly themes. Children will grow and explore in an enriching preschool experience through a curriculum of activities promoting social, emotional and intellectual growth. Each day, children will participate in dramatics, motor movement, arts and crafts and indoor/outdoor play. Children must be toilet-trained.

Academic ENRICHMENT CAMPS
Enjoy the present as we explore the past by spending some of your summer at Ardenwood Historic Farm - a screen-free environment! Learn about places the Patterson family witnessed firsthand, from Chicago to India to China. Enjoy outdoor fun and hands-on learning through nature walks, science investigations, group games, creative dramatics and puppetry, art projects, and much more! Every week’s activities will be different. Younger and older campers are with their own age groups and camp locations in one-week sessions.
Junior Rangers
Discover your inner-park ranger and build outdoor skills in this fun-filled week of nature exploration and outdoor experiential learning! Here’s your chance to enjoy a Central Park-themed camping trip. Activities include a good old-fashioned barbecue, make S’ mores, pitching a tent and learning the 10 Essentials of Camping. We’ll do some nature hikes, go birding, and go fishing. Kids will learn about fire safety, camping safety and the all-important ‘Leave No Trace.’

Bug’s Life Entomology Camp
NEW Did you know that the Pokémon phenomenon happened because of the creator’s love for insects as a child? We will discover the secret life of insects as we go “buggy” at Ardenwood Historic Farm. Through outdoor fun and hands-on learning, the activities will reinforce the Common Core state school standards. Engaging activities include nature walks, insect identification, experiential investigations, basic science experiments, art projects and much more.

Programming with Bee-Bots

One week of tennis, one week at the Aqua Adventure Park! This camp was designed to give your child two different but equally fun experiences at the tennis center and water park! Ultimate Athletes Camp
Get out and play! Campers will be placed on teams for the duration of the week of camp to compete tournament style in the sport registered each week. Each day players will start with a good warm up and stretches before introducing the basics and rules of the sport followed by live play. Coaches will emphasize teamwork, sportsmanship and having fun! Team requests should be emailed to sports@fremont.gov at the time of registration.

DIY Maker’s Camp
NEW As a Maker, young people will have fun learning to “hack” a solution using odds-and-ends, common household objects, duct tape and other fun things. Have you heard of a Rube Goldberg apparatus, perhaps in an OK GO or YouTube video? It is a deliberately over-engineered machine that performs a simple task in a very complex fashion, usually including a chain reaction. We will also explore making an arcade out of cardboard. Jr. Lifeguard Camp
Get HANDS-ON experience as a Junior Lifeguard! Learn and practice basic lifeguard and first aid skills. Learn how to recognize potential hazards, prevent accidents, respond to emergencies and aid in swim lessons. Participants successfully passing this class will be well on their way to becoming a future lifeguard! Upon completing the course, participants will have an opportunity to volunteer at the water park shadowing lifeguards and assisting with general operations. Super Sitter Academy Camp

Central Park Teen Center
PM Extended Care is only for participants enrolled in Central Park Camps. Extended care is an option for parents who need care for their children from 3:00pm to 6:00pm. A variety of activities will be provided; as well as a snack. Responsible staff will walk children to/from camps within Central Park. Pick up will be at the Teen Center in Central Park. CITY OF FREMONT RELEASE AGREEMENT FOR ALL PARTICIPANTS
IN CONSIDERATION OF PERMISSION TO PARTICIPATE IN OR USE ANY CITY OF FREMONT (hereinafter referred to as “City”) FACILITIES IN CONNECTION WITH THIS ACTIVITY, THE PARTICIPANT AGREES TO THE FOLLOWING:
1. THE PARTICIPANT HEREBY RELEASES, WAIVES, DISCHARGES AND COVENANTS NOT TO SUE THE CITY OF FREMONT, ITS EMPLOYEES, OFFICERS AND AGENTS (hereinafter referred to as “releasees”) from all liability to the participant, his or her personal representatives, assigns, heirs, and next of kin, for any loss, damage, or claim therefore on account of injury to the person, participant’s family member, or property of the participant, whether caused by any negligent act or omission of the releasees or otherwise, while the participant or participant’s family member is participating in a City activity or using any City facilities in connection with the activity.
2. THE PARTICIPANT HEREBY AGREES TO INDEMNIFY AND HOLD HARMLESS the releasees from all liability, claims, demands, causes of action, charges, expenses, and attorney fees (including attorney fees to establish the releasees’ right to indemnify incurred on appeal) resulting from involvement in this activity, whether caused by any negligent act or omission of the releasees or otherwise.
3. THE PARTICIPANT HEREBY ASSUMES FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR RISK OF BODILY INJURY, DEATH OR PROPERTY DAMAGE to self or participant’s family member while upon City property or participating in the activity or using any City facilities and equipment, whether caused by any negligent act or omission of releasees or otherwise. The participant expressly agrees that the foregoing release and waiver, indemnity agreement and assumption of risk, are intended to be as broad and inclusive as permitted by California law and that if any portion thereof is deemed to be held invalid, notwithstanding, the balance shall continue in full legal force and effect.
I ACKNOWLEDGE THAT I HAVE READ THE FOREGOING and I am aware of the legal consequences of this agreement, including the acknowledgement that it prevents me from suing the City or its employees, agents, or officers, if I or my family member is injured or my property is damaged for any reason as a result of participation in this activity. I further acknowledge that no oral representations, statements or inducements have been made.

Requests for withdrawals/transfers can be submitted at www.RegeRec.com.
REFUND POLICY
Refunds are allowed if requested up to seven calendar days prior to the start of the activity. A $10 per class withdrawal fee will be deducted from your refund. Please allow up to four weeks for receipt of refund by check.
TRANSFER POLICY
Transfers are allowed up to seven calendar days prior to the start of the class. There is no charge for this service.
CANCELLATIONS
We reserve the right to cancel a class for any reasonable cause. Should this happen, your fee will be refunded in full or you may transfer to any open class.
NON-RESIDENT FEES
For persons not residing in Fremont, the fee is $5 in addition to the published fee per class.
SENIOR CITIZEN DISCOUNT
Seniors (Ages 60+) receive a 10% discount on all classes except those designated for seniors.
FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE
The City of Fremont and many local business and organizations have funded a grant program, which provides financial assistance for Fremont Residents. All requests are kept confidential. For more information about scholarships, please visit Fremont.gov and search scholarships. Donations are tax deductible.
