What’s Happening in Kenya God is doing awesome work here in Kenya. Everything is going well here. The children are really doing well. School is running smoothly. Activity around the base is going well. Our garden is growing. We have discovered that Eggplant does great here. We also have collards, tomatoes and corn. The beans are coming very slowly. We have purchased a cow. She is pregnant. We have to arrange transportation for her to the base. We can’t decide if we need to wait until she gives birth or bring her on to the base. The goats are doing well. We decided to sell the goats. They were not doing well at the base. Ceci and I purchased them for Ceci’s family. We moved them to an area near her family. The land was not green and it had brown grass and bushes. They have thrived on that area. I guess they didn’t want green grass. They also are producing milk. We now have over 30 goats. We will share with her family and we can also use the little extra income. I never thought I would be a farmer. With what has happened in Nairobi, things are a little tense. We are 12 hours away from Nairobi. I guess it is like when we have terror in the U.S. Everyone is a little more tense. We are safe. We also have God protecting us. The first thing the children always pray for is protection. We send our blessings and prayers to everyone. The Ray of Hope family.
Thank you…
Thank You…

Dear Friends,
Thank you for the memorial that was given in memory of “Kenneth” Horton, Farrell’s son. Hospice is a great organization that provides care in the time of need for loved ones. Thank you again for your thoughtfulness.
My dear Friedland Family, My most sincere and heartfelt thanks for every kindness you’ve shown me. Your Christian love and concern has meant so much during these recent falls. But our gracious, Loving God, has been there with me, too. So with all the prayers, cards, visits, everything-- it has been a good year after all. May he continue to bless us all with His Precious Presence.
Blessings, Farrell and Julia Horton New Address: Ryan McMillon 3311 Mangrove Sky Lane Raleigh, NC 27603
