What? “Church fun, really”? Fun church may seem like an oxymoron, but only because you haven’t experienced CHURCH ON THE BEACH. We gather every Sunday at 9am in one of God’s most beautiful creations, Fripp Island’s beachfront. Many Fripp Island property owners join us each week and we love welcoming hundreds of visitors each summer. Watching the first timers smile as they come down the boardwalk from the Beach Club…it really is a special gift. There is something about sitting in a beach chair listening to Rev. Todd’s sermon with shrimp boats passing in the distance or lining up to take communion in shorts and flip flops… Where else can you watch a child pause their sandcastle construction to sing “Amazing Grace”? Church can be fun! God never intended Church to be boring or irrelevant. We believe God’s plan for church is a vibrant, joy filled gathering. We invite you to experience that each and every Sunday.
