Get Your Gear
Neutral colored European-style shooting clothing is required along with appropriate eye and ear protection. Shotguns are provided in 12 and 20-gauge and all shells are included. Evening wear is casual, but most shooters will wear a sport coat (no tie).

• Our shoot offers the finest driven partridges in Spain to a line of 10 guns for a total anticipated bag of 1400 birds over two days. • Luxury accommodations (all ensuite) are provided in the impressive 15th century Palace. • Guests are treated to gourmet dining, exceptional wines and exquisite service. • Beginning and ending the trip in Madrid at the Relais & Chateaux Heritage Hotel. We will enjoy the city and visit the historic town of Toledo.
About Ventosilla
Ventosilla: Home to the first ever driven partridge shoot in Spain, the Palace was built in the 15th century by the wealthily and powerful cardinals of Toledo as their private hunting estate and their descendants still own and run the estate to this day. The estate has 60 drives covering many thousands of acres enabling guests to decide what type of birds and shooting they would like to experience.

Monday, October 21
Depart your home city via overnight flight service to Madrid, Spain.
Tuesday, October 22
On arrival in Madrid, you will be met and transferred to the Heritage Hotel Madrid where a Superior Room has been reserved for the night. This is a Relais & Châteaux hotel located in the heart of downtown. Lunch taken independently. Enjoy the afternoon at leisure to rest and relax after the overnight flight. Join the group for a welcome dinner this evening at Amparito Roca, a lovely 60-seat restaurant where we will be dining privately. The restaurant has a delightful menu where we will enjoy fine Spanish cuisine and wines.
Wednesday, October 23
Following breakfast at the hotel and check-out, the group will be met late in the morning by representatives of Ventosilla and transferred to the historic city of Toledo. We will enjoy a tapas lunch and have a walking tour of the town. Late in the afternoon, the group will be collected and driven to Ventosilla for our 6:00 PM check in. After being shown to our rooms, everyone will gather for cocktails and dinner.
Thursday, October 24
Following breakfast, we will enjoy a full day of driven shooting. A typical shooting day is made up of four to five drives which are broken up with a break for tapas and lunch. Each drive will last about 25 minutes and there will be plenty of action across the line. The nonshooters will join the hunters in the field. Continued overnight at Ventosilla.
Friday, October 25
Following breakfast, the group will enjoy another full day in the field. Following the last drive of the day, the group will check out and be transferred back to Madrid. Non-shooters today will have a full day sightseeing tour in the region with lunch. Returning to Madrid, the group will check in at the Heritage Hotel and enjoy dinner this evening on-site at Haroma, with a two star Michelin Chef.
Saturday, October 26
Following breakfast and check-out, the group will be met at the Heritage Hotel and transferred to the airport for return flights home or onward travels in Spain or Europe .
Rates
The cost is $12,875 per gun. The non-shooter rate is $2,495 per person. This price is based on the current rate of exchange between the US Dollar and the Euro, subject to change. Rates are based on a party of 10 guns and 10 non-shooters. Inclusions: Airport meet and greet service in Madrid; all ground transfers in the country; two nights of accommodations at Heritage Hotel Madrid in Superior Rooms; breakfast in Madrid both mornings; guided tour of Toledo; lunch in Toledo on Oct. 23; two nights of double occupancy accommodations at Ventosilla Castle; two full days of driven shooting with 1,400 birds to ten guns; shotgun rental; all shells; all meals at the
Castle; all beverages at the Castle; a full day sightseeing tour for the non-shooters in Spain; welcome and farewell dinners in Spain with wine. Exclusions: Round-trip airline transportation to/from Madrid; any other meals not mentioned; tip for the Ventosilla house staff at EUR50 per room; tip for loader EUR70 per gun per day; tip for secretario EUR70 per gun per day; extra birds shot EUR40 per bird handled per gun over the 1400 bag; gratuities in Madrid and any items of a personal nature such as laundry, gift purchases, etc.
