Take Your Travel Experience Further: The Hosted Trip Difference Unparalleled Service and Knowledge Every Step of the Way Dear Traveler, There are many reasons why we return to Belize River Lodge (BRL), but most of all is the package provided by Mike and Marguerite, and Misha and Dirk. With Mike and Marguerite, you get the voice of experience. They have been at Belize River Lodge since 1986 and have been active on-site owners and managers ever since. No one knows the fishery like Mike and you can be assured that every detail will be attended to by Marguerite. Misha and Dirk bring a new youthful dimension to the lodge as Misha is on the cutting edge of our digital age, Dirk effortlessly keeps clients happy as an outstanding guide. They are a perfect foursome. Our trip is timed for migratory tarpon — the big boys — as they move through the area on their way to Florida. But it’s often the babies that give us the thrill. Reel in a 40 pound tarpon on a 9 or 10 weight and you’re in for a ride! They jump, they run, they thrill, and they’ll wear you out. Then go around the corner for a few bonefish or snook while you rest your weary muscles. Or, perhaps you’ll find a permit cruising the flat. That’s what we love about BRL, you never know what you’ll find around the corner! From the solitude and tropical luxury of the cottage on Long Caye, to the old Adirondack feel of the main camp, Belize River Lodge continues to set the standard for hospitality, exceptional guides, and fine fishing. Come along with us, enjoy the charm and comfort of BRL, and be assured that you’ll soon feel like part of the family. Sincerely,

Barry & Cathy Beck
