Take Your Travel Experience Further: The Hosted Trip Difference Unparalleled Service and Knowledge Every Step of the Way Dear Traveler, We host groups to Tres Valles Lodge twice a year for good reason — it’s easy to love. Talk about the road less traveled and Tres Valles comes to mind. Not only is it a stunning Lodge in the scenic valley between Rio Pico and Los Pampas in the snowcapped foothills of the Andes, but it’s also a place of more trout fishing than one can learn in perhaps a lifetime of fishing! Tucked up against the stunning Lago Tres Valles with a spectacular view of the Andes, Tres Valles Lodge is located inside a spacious Argentine cattle ranch that spans across the entire valley. Located about three hours from Esquel, you’ll decompress from the travel as soon as you arrive at the Lodge. During your stay, you’ll fish spring creeks, small to medium freestone rivers, and crystal clear mountain lakes. It’s walk, wading, rafts, and boats, depending on your personal preference. The weather will vary due to the altitude, and the view from the front windows of the Lodge will constantly change as the mountains dictate. Cool, crisp mornings and spring showers in December (their spring) bring the opening of the season and the first fishing of the year. You’ll find the fish ready and willing to come for your dries and droppers. Relax and be entertained by hosts Simon Corti Maderna and Guillermina Etchebarne with dinner conversations of fishing and ranch life in Argentina. Enjoy outstanding meals prepared by a private chef and a weekly outdoor asado, the Argentine style BBQ (picnics at home will never be the same). The Lodge is spacious, comfortable, and offers magnificent views from every room. It’s a warm and welcoming destination. Sincerely,
Barry & Cathy Beck
What to Expect
• The grand four-bedroom Tres Valles Lodge offers the most majestic view in the region, as guests gently awaken to a warm sunrise over snowcapped Andes reflected upon a grand placid mountain lake among sprawling pampas. • A hallmark of remote Argentine Patagonia fly fishing diversity, Tres Valles offers mid-sized waters to intimate spring creeks, and lakes that harbor mammoth browns, rainbows, and brook trout. • Step off the beaten path and continue south to Tres Valles, the furthest reaches of Northern Patagonia, to a place where the only other angler you will see is your fishing partner, and fish are uneducated and eager to take your fly.
About the Lodge
Tres Valles Lodge: It’s no secret that Tres Valles Lodge is a must-fish destination in Patagonia. With ingredients like an attentive host couple, eager staff/guides, and inexhaustible walk-and-wade fishing in the shadow of the Andes, a recipe for success is inexorable. Situated in a remote corner of Chubut Province near Chile, Tres Valles Lodge is ideal for those fishermen who don’t like to “follow the crowd” and want an intimate, small capacity lodge experience. With non-fishing activities available, it is a great choice for those with a non-fishing companion.
