There are still great dates for 2016
We Share Your Passion
Dear Wingshooter, For over four decades, we have helped our clients experience the majesty of shooting driven birds in Europe. We have aligned ourselves with the most qualified estate operators -- all of whom provide the best in field organization and the most reliable, yet challenging, shooting. There is something special about the lore, tradition and history of the sport; and our intention at Frontiers is to assure the utmost in variety and value for your dollars invested. Whether you would like to join a group of guns for a driven shoot as an individual to complete an existing line, or would prefer to customdesign an all-inclusive private shooting program with a group of your friends, Frontiers will provide options based on your budget, timing objectives and species preference. We can assist with special requests and fine-tune detailed activities to meet specific objectives with sincere interest in the complete satisfaction of you and your group. If you require arrangements before or after the shoot (coordination of air reservations, sightseeing, private touring, fine dining, etc.), Frontiers specialists stand ready to be of service. Driven shooting is a rare life experience and there is no better venue to share with nonshooting companions. Many enjoy the social aspects of relaxing days afield with shooters and / or exploring nearby towns for shopping and sightseeing. Shooters and nonshooters will enjoy quality time at dinner and evenings together, which makes for a nice couples holiday. We hope that you will choose to shoot Europe “The Frontiers Way.” No one looks after you in the field like we do, and that pledge has remained since we started our company in 1969. It’s not too late to consider a 2016 departure. Along with our colleagues at our office in the United Kingdom, we wish you great shooting this year and we look forward to hearing from you. With thanks and regards,
Mike Fitzgerald and Carole Sommer

Scotland September 5 - 10 September 12 - 17
October 21 - 22 November 30
FRONTIERS HAS OPERATED FOR A NUMBER OF DECADES IN SCOTLAND. The shooting venues encompass over 65,000 acres and include many of the most well-known shoots in Scotland, such as Thirlestane, Longcroft, Bowmont Valley, Greenhill and Tollieshill/Burncastle; with famous drives including Jimmy’s, Blaeberries, Face, Cattlegrid, Red Gyle and the Dam. Against a backdrop of stunning Borders fall scenery, it is hard to imagine a more picturesque or challenging shooting setting. The incredible field organization of the teams on the ground is organized by Wilson Young Sr. and his son, Wilson Jr. They ensure a most memorable shooting experience. Exceptional driven partridge shoots begin in September. From mid-October through January, they present high-flying pheasants in combination with the partridges off the steep hills and across the deep valleys of this beautiful area of SCOTLAND. This is a strong repeat location for avid shooters. There are a number of accommodation options based on budget. Our top recommendation for intact parties is Lylestane. This magnificent property in the Scottish Borders region offers eight bedrooms and beautiful living areas. The elegant but casual country home is located in close proximity to some of the best and most challenging partridge and pheasant shooting estates just 15-30 minutes away. Carolyn Campbell, Lylestane’s Host/Manager, is well known for her outstanding hospitality and for her organizational skills in preparing fantastic and memorable meals. For a single or small group of shooters, Frontiers can also offer accommodations at the classic and elegant Roxburghe Hotel; for more modest lodging, arrangements can be provided at Burt’s Hotel or its sister property, The Townhouse, in the charming town of Melrose. This option allows you to join open lines of guns that are available throughout the shooting season.
Mike Fitzgerald, Jr. and Wilson Young, Sr. of Eskdale Shooting Services. Wilson and his teams handle all of the field organization for Frontiers in Scotland.
Whether you are a single gun, have a small group, or full line, Frontiers can accommodate you in Scotland. We can even include walk-up shooting in combination with the driven shoots.

Spain Select dates in October 2016 - February 2017 FROM THE VERY FIRST PARTRIDGE DRIVE TO THE FAREWELL DINNER. Frontiers offers exceptional Spanish red-legged partridge shooting October-February at several magnificent estancias in the foothills of La Mancha. Your hospitable Spanish hosts welcome intact parties of guns throughout the season, and also offer open dates for single shooters to join existing lines of guns for challenging driven shoots in varying terrain with well-organized and experienced field staff.
The incredibly challenging driven partridges in Spain
Generally, there are five to six partridge drives during the day, with three in the morning and two or three in the afternoon. Snacks and refreshments are offered between drives with a traditional field lunch served midday, if weather permits, or back at the estancia. At day’s end, there is time to relax before evening cocktails and a multi-course dinner, often with entertainment. SPAIN is a remarkable destination; aside from the shooting, it features a casual lifestyle with mostly warm sunny days in the fall with spectacular scenery and festive evenings. For non-shooters, excursions can be arranged to Toledo and other interesting locations.
Dining at Ventosilla
The Spanish hospitality is memorable; you will find attractive private accommodations, friendly and attentive service, sumptuous dinners, lunch on the expansive verandah and fun-filled evenings in the beautiful dining area. Our more than 30 years of experience in Spain gives us the perspective to compare and contrast properties, and we have selected the finest Spanish estancias which include Ventosilla, La Cuesta, Pinos Altos and El Palomar. Each year our Spanish hosts introduce new and challenging partridge drives on varying terrain to create another dimension for repeat clients. Whether this is your first or tenth shooting trip to Spain, contact us to explore which property would best meet your objectives.
Denmark September 5 - 10, 2016 Exclusive Scandinavian Driven Pheasants and Mallards Frontiers’ DENMARK shooting programs are coordinated exclusively through and hosted by our capable and personable Danish Shooting Director, Jens Torp. We use the finest estates in our itineraries, offering not only spectacular numbers but superior sporting quality game birds. These are in prime condition and fly hard, high and fast across a wide variety of shooting stations, from breezy seaside fields to stately beech forests. The mallard season begins in September, followed by pheasants (with some mallards intermixed) from mid-October to midNovember. It’s great shooting for the veteran as well as the first-time gunner. Enjoy outstanding accommodations and gourmet cuisine without stilted formality. Most of our trips include a stay at renowned Falsled Kro, the finest countryside accommodation and cuisine in all of Scandinavia. Elegant manor houses and castles on expansive estates are also available for private shooting parties. Copenhagen offers luxurious accommodations at the Hotel d’Angleterre, in city center, ideally located for sightseeing and adjacent to Stroget, the famous walking street, which is famous for its designer shops, cafes and vibrant atmosphere Experience warm and friendly service in a lovely country where English is everyone’s second language; rolling green fields and large forests in an uncrowded countryside; pheasants and mallards presented in a challenging manner; crackling firesides and, perhaps most importantly, great company. Frontiers pioneered these classic estate shoots of Denmark back in the mid-70s. Come discover why shooters and non-shooters alike enjoy memorable days afield for both driven pheasants and mallards. The colorful traditions of European shooting are still alive, well and revered in Denmark today with the highly-bred, welltrained dogs retrieving beautifully and the traditional game parade at the end of the day. Combine all of this with the warm, friendly service of English-speaking Danish hosts who are with shooters each day in the field and accompany non-shooting guests through a kaleidoscope of activities, and you have the quintessential couple’s sporting vacation. This will mark our 38th year shooting in Denmark. It gets better each season.
In addition to driven pheasants, Denmark also offers unbelievable mallard shooting earlier in the season.
Wonderful accommodations and fine cuisine at Falsled Kro
