I get asked a lot about why we are changing the schedule or adding events as FTR has had to adjust to the changing needs of clubs. Landowners have the first and last word on how or when things happen on their property, then permitting takes over. No permit, no event, and yes a lot of the hare scramble races have to have a permit, even on private property. This also leads us to our en-

duros, which are mainly on public land and require a permit from the state. Croom and Richloam come to mind as these two events are under the mercy of the state. Unfortunately Suncoast Trail Blazers were unable to obtain the required permitting but we are still hopeful that CFTR will have good news on the permit required for their enduro. This also affects our schedule as a whole, our enduro chairman has worked diligently to replenish the schedule with events to salvage the series and give our riders more opportunities to ride.
