This year, the Yukon Quest starts in Fairbanks and the course goes right next to the Outdoor Recreation Center. Celebrate with free snow machine rides and warm drinks, and help us give some of the best racers a great send off!

Pottery I**

Pottery II & Open Studio**

2/8, 2/15/, 2/22 1430-1600 Bldg. 3727 Neely Rd. $40/student (ages 8+) Students are required to have completed Pottery I for participation eligibility. Supplies are provided. Parents may participate for a $15 materials fee.

FEBRUARY EDGE CLASSES: Snack Attack: We will be making a variety of snacks.

Tubing Teens will meet at the YC at 4:30 and travel to Birch Hill to go tubing and will return by 6:15. Teens must be appropriately dressed for the weather and activity. Cross Country Skiing and Tubing are subject to cancellation due to weather. Registration forms may be picked up at the Youth Center for Cross Country Skiing and Tubing. Outdoor Recreation Feature Trips of the Month Compeaus Trail Snowmachine Run 1/18; 8AM-5PM Fee: $75 Make the Snowmachine run on the Compeau’s Trail in the Chena River State Recreation Area. The trail begins down in the river valley and eventually winds its way to the ridge tops. Great scenic views from the top and then we will begin the descent back to the river valley.

Experience Alaska in a whole new way; by learning to ice climb with us on frozen waterfalls! No experience needed, our guides will have you swinging ice tools and kicking crampons right up these frozen pillars in no time!
