Spotlight MEET THE FACES OF FORT WAINWRIGHT FAMILY AND MWR #WainwrightMWR Meet the people that make the Fort Wainwright Family and MWR team so special.

Aalana Lacewell Program Associate, Child and Youth Services, Youth Sports When asked which team is her favorite, there’s no doubt that it’s the Pittsburgh Steelers. “I bleed black and yellow!” says Aalana Lacewell. Aalana’s love for football and sports are evident in her work. As a Program Associate with Youth Sports, she gets to work with kids on a daily basis, and loves to see them grow and develop each and every season. Her favorite moment so far is from this past winter, during the basketball tournament championship game. “It literally felt like we were at the NCAA Championship Game; both teams left everything on the floor,” Aalana notes. The bleachers were filled with parents and friends cheering on both teams, and the halftime show shined bright with the Fort Wainwright Cheerleaders. Aalana can’t wait to watch more iconic moments unfold during her time with the Family and MWR team.
