The New Parent Support Program offers a variety of classes that introduce parents to techniques and programs tailored to their specific needs. Classes and programs include Parents as Teachers, Jump on Board— Promoting Literacy, Baby Care 101, and Scream-free Parenting.

School Age Center’s Incredible Summer Camp #WainwrightSAC May 22 – August 11, 6 a.m. – 6 p.m. Make this summer an incredible summer with the School Age Center’s Summer Camp! With fun outings, activities, and themed events, summer never looked so good.

Teen Babysitters Course June 27 – 30, Noon – 6 p.m. Join us for a babysitting class and become a certified babysitter. Learn babysitting etiquette, what it takes to care for a child, and how to respond to basic emergency situations. This course includes CPR and First Aid certification. For youth 13 years and older.

YOUTH SPORTS REGISTRATION #WainwrightYouthSports Moosercise Child Exercise and Play Program Exercise is a-moose-ing! May is Strong B.A.N.D.S. Month The U.S. Army Installation Management Command’s annual Strong B.A.N.D.S. campaign will return for its seventh year to Fort Wainwright and other Army locations worldwide this May. Strong B.A.N.D.S.— Strong Balance, Activity, Nutrition, Determination and Strength— promotes garrison fitness and wellness programs available to Soldiers, Families, Retirees, and Civilians. 2017’s theme is Trained, Willing, and Able, which highlights how the five components enhance an individuals readiness. Melaven Fitness Center When you think of Melaven, think of maximizing your workout with functional fitness equipment, and the Reshaping in Progress Program (R.I.P.P.) group class. Please note that the pool is under renovation and is scheduled to reopen late Summer 2017.
