La isla se promocionará en el mercado interior para mejorar la ocupación turística FMHOY - Fuerteventura La isla tendrá una presencia destacada en la próxima feria interinsular, ‘Vacaciones en Canarias’, que se celebrará en Tenerife los día 9 y 10 de mayo de 2009. El Patronato de Turismo de Fuerteventura, órgano de promoción insular dependiente del Cabildo, dio a conocer en la Mesa Sectorial del turismo el estado en que se encuentran los preparativos de la ‘Campaña para el Fomento del Turismo Doméstico Verano 2009’, iniciativa que incluye varias acciones de promoción orientadas a promover la Isla como destino vacacional entre la población del Archipiélago.

Mario Cabrera, presidente del Cabildo, y Águeda Montelongo, consejera de Turismo del Cabildo, encabezaron una reunión que contó con la presencia de varios concejales y técnicos de las áreas de Turismo en los ayuntamientos de la Isla, así como los representantes de la patronal y las asociaciones empresariales y turísticas de la Isla, entre otros empresarios del sector. »Queremos estar prevenidos y aprovechar al máximo nuestras virtudes en estos momentos de incertidumbre. Hoy se ha planteado en la Mesa Sectorial la necesidad de potenciar las acciones de promoción de

cara al turismo interior. En Fuerteventura tenemos las mejores playas de Canarias, y por eso tratamos de favorecer que todos aquellos canarios que no se decanten por realizar grandes viajes en Semana Santa o verano, puedan encontrar en esta isla un destino va-

cacional accesible y de calidad», explicó Montelongo.

Según se expuso a los asistentes al encuentro de hoy, la campaña tratará de llegar al turista canario incidiendo en distintos puntos como: - Elaboración de un folleto promocional dirigido exclusivamente al turismo entre islas, que recogerá los eventos y acontecimientos más importantes del calendario insular, susceptibles de convertirse en un atractivo turístico para los canarios.

- Campaña en exteriores ‘Las mejores playas de Canarias’. Contratación de soportes publicitarios en los alrededores del recinto ferial.

La consejera de Turismo del Cabildo comentó que el turismo canario puede ayudarnos a superar la temporada de verano si conseguimos despertar el interés sobre acontecimientos como ‘Fuerteventura en Música, el ‘Lebrancho Rock’, el Campeonato del Mundo de Windsurf, o las fiestas populares locales más destacables del calendario. Además, hemos planteado la posibilidad de facilitar las cosas a los potenciales turistas ofreciendo paquetes conjuntos, en los que participen las navieras y los hoteleros».

Cabildo abhängiges Organ für die Promotion der Insel, kündigte beim Treffen des Sektors für Tourismus des Staates, zu dem die Vorbereitungsarbeiten der ‘Kampagne für die Förderung des einheimischen Tourismus im 2009’ gehört, eine Initiative mit vielen Aktionen an, die beabsichtigen, die Insel als Urlaubsziel bei der Bevölkerung des Archipels zu fördern.

Wie sie den Teilnehmern der Sitzung von heute erklärte, wird durch die Kampagne versucht, kanarische Touristen zu erreichen. Dabei werden folgende Punkte beachtet: - Erarbeitung einer Werbebroschüre, die ausschließlich auf den Tourismus zwischen den Inseln ausgerichtet ist, wo die wichtigsten Events und Ereignisse des Kalenders der Insel aufgeführt werden, da diese Touristen von den Kanaren interessieren können.

- Außenkampagne ‘Die besten Strände der Kanaren’.

Die Beauftragte für Tourismus des Cabildo erklärte, dass uns der kanarische Tourismus helfen kann, die Sommersaison zu überstehen, wenn wir es schaffen, bei den Kanaren das Interesse für Ereignisse wie ‘Fuerteventura en Música‘, ‘Lebrancho Rock’, die Weltmeisterschaft für Windsurfen und die wichtigsten Volksfeste zu wecken. ACFIPRESS - Fuerteventura El presidente del Cabildo, Mario Cabrera, y la consejera insular de Turismo, Águeda Montelongo, oficiaron recientemente en el Hotel Fuerteventura Playa Blanca la entrega de Premios del ‘I Concurso Gastronómico de Fuerteventura’, en el que resultaron ganadores el Mesón Canario Tío Bernabé, de La Oliva, en la modalidad de Menú, y Casa Marcos, también de La Oliva, en la modalidad de Tapas.

Al acto asistieron, entre otros, los propietarios y representantes de los 28 establecimientos participantes, a quienes se hizo entrega de una placa conmemorativa de su participación en el concurso. También recibieron su placa y su premio los segundos y terceros clasificados, José Macario por el Asador Don Quijote y Eloísa Concepción por el Restaurante Marabú, en la modalidad de Menú, y María del Pilar Rodríguez por la Cafetería El Verol y José Luis López Martín por el Bar California, en la de Tapas. El galardón confeccionado como distintivo es la representación de un almirez canario elaborado por artesanos de la Isla.

CONCURSO DE MENÚ 1º Clasificado: José Gabriel Estévez, por el Mesón Canario Tío Bernabé (La Oliva) / Menú – 1er plato: Tomate salobre majorero relleno de queso ahumado con vinagreta y frutos secos; 2do plato: Lomos de cherne confitados con pisto de temporada y papas crujientes; Postre: Plátanos de Canarias a la mousse con piña de El Hierro caramelizada con almíbar de moras.

2º Clasificado: José Macario, por el Asador Don Quijote (Pájara) / Menú – 1er plato: Sopa castellana; 2º plato: Chuletillas de cabrito al grill; Postre: flan de la casa.

3º Clasificado: Eloísa Concepción, por el Restaurante Marabú (Pájara) / Menú - 1º plato: Queso tierno empanado con miel de jengibre; 2º plato: Sierra a las finas hierbas con vinagreta de tomates tibia; Postre: Higos al jerez.

CONCURSO DE TAPAS 1º Clasificado: Marcos Gutiérrez Vera, por el Bar Gastronómico Casa Marcos (La Oliva) / Tapa: Carpaccio de langostinos y gulas con tosta de maíz dulce y salmón marinado.

2º Clasificado: María del Pilar Rodríguez por la Cafetería El Verol (Puerto del Rosario) / Tapa: Mejillones tigre.

3º Clasificado: José Luis López Martín, por el Bar California (Pájara) / Tapa: Sandwich especial de la casa.

GUÍA GASTRONÓMICA El concurso permitirá al Patronato de Turismo elaborar una Guía Gastronómica que recoja la ubicación por municipios de los establecimientos participantes, destacando el precio de los menús y las tapas con que concurrieron al certamen. Durante todo el presente año de 2009, los 28 establecimientos incluidos en la Guía ofrecerán a sus clientes la degustación de los platos del concurso: las tapas a un precio único de 3 euros, con bebida a elegir, y los menús a un máximo de 20 euros.

28 establishments take part in the gastronomy awards ceremony The Cabildo’s president, Mario Cabrera, and the island’s Tourism councillor, Águeda Montelongo, recently presented the awards’ ceremony for «Fuerteventura’s 1st Gastronomy Competition» in Hotel Fuerteventura Playa Blanca, revealing the following winners: Mesón Canario Tío Bernabé, in La Oliva, in the Menu category, and Casa Marcos, also from La Oliva, in the Tapas category.

The event also saw the participation of owners and representatives of 28 participating establishments, who received a commemorative plate for their participation in the competition. The runners up and third place also received their plate and award, José Macario for the Asador Don Quijote and Eloísa Concepción for the Restaurante Marabú, in the Menu category, and María del Pilar Rodríguez for Cafetería El Verol and José Luis López Martín for the Bar California, in the Tapas category.

The award created especially by local craftsmen represented a Canarian mortar.

MENU COMPETITION 1st Prize: José Gabriel Estévez, for the Mesón Canario Tío Bernabé (La Oliva) / Menu – Starter: majorero salted tomatoes stuffed with smoked cheese served with a vinaigrette and dry fruit; main course: Stone Bass served with a seasonal ratatouille and crispy potatoes; Desert: Canarian bananas with El Hierro Pineapple Mousse caramelised with blackberry syrup.

2nd Prize: José Macario, for the Asador Don Quijote (Pájara) / Menu: Starter: Castilian soup; Main Course: Grilled lamb chops; Desert: flan of the house.

3rd Prize: Eloísa Concepción, for the Restaurant Marabú (Pájara) / Menu: Starter: Fresh cheese coated with Ginger Honey; Main Course: sawfish with herbs with lukewarm tomato vinaigrette; Desert: Figs with sherry.

TAPAS COMPETITION 1st Prize: Marcos Gutiérrez Vera, for the Bar Gastronómico Casa Marcos (La Oliva) / Tapas: King Prawn carpaccio with baby eel on sweet corn toast and marinated salmon.

2nd Prize: María del Pilar Rodríguez for Cafetería El Verol (Puerto del Rosario) / Tapas: Tiger mussels 3rd Prize: José Luis López Martín, for the Bar California (Pájara) / Tapas: House Special Sandwich.

GASTRONOMY GUIDE The competition gives an opportunity for the Tourism Council to elaborate a Gastronomy Guide that will gather the locations of the participating establishments in their municipalities, giving price details on the menu and tapas that participated in the competition. Der Präsident des Cabildo, Mario Cabrera, und die Inselbeauftragte für Tourismus, Águeda Montelongo, eröffneten kürzlich im Hotel Fuerteventura Playa Blanca die Preisübergabe des ‘I. Gastronomischen Wettbewerbes von Fuerteventura’, den das Mesón Canario Tío Bernabé aus La Oliva für den Bereich Menüs und die Casa Marcos, auch aus La Oliva, für den Bereich Tapas gewannen.

An dem Akt nahmen unter anderen die Besitzer und Vertreter der 28 beteiligten Lokale teil, die eine Plakette zur Erinnerung erhielten. Auch die Gewinner der zweiten und dritten Preise erhielten ihre Plaketten: José Macario für Asador Don Quijote und Eloísa Concepción für das Restaurant Marabú, im Bereich Menüs und

María del Pilar Rodríguez für das Café El Verol und José Luis López Martín für die Bar California, im Bereich Tapas. Der Preis besteht aus einer Darstellung eines kanarischen Mörsers, der von Kunsthandwerkern der Insel hergestellt wurde.

GASTRONNOMIEFÜHRER Durch den Wettbewerb wurde es dem Patronat für Tourismus ermöglicht einen Gastronomieführer zu erstellen, in dem die Standorte und Gemeinden der Unternehmen angegeben werden, die an dem Wettbewerb teilgenommen haben sowie die Preise der Menüs und der Tapas, die dort präsentiert wurden. Das ganze Jahr über werden in den 28 Lokale, die in dem Führer aufgeführt werden, ihren Kunden die bei dem Wettbewerb präsentierten Gerichte anbieten. Die Tapas haben einen Einheitspreis von 3 Euro, mit einem Getränk nach Wahl, und die Menüs haben einen Höchstpreis von 20 Euro.

Mario Cabrera visita las obras edificio terminal del aeropuerto ACFIPRESS - Fuerteventura El presidente del Cabildo de Fuerteventura, Mario Cabrera González, y la consejera de Turismo, Águeda Montelongo, visitaron las obras de ampliación y mejora del área Terminal del Aeropuerto de Fuerteventura acompañados por el director del Aeropuerto, Alberto Martín Rodríguez. El presupuesto total de esta obra asciende a 55.752.071 euros, lo que permitirá atender a más de 7 millones de pasajeros al año.

El nuevo edificio se distribuye en tres plantas: planta sótano, con una superficie de 25.700 metros cuadrados; planta baja, con 34.700 metros cuadrados, en la que se sitúa el vestíbulo de salidas, con capacidad para 72 mostradores de facturación, el vestíbulo de llegadas y sala de recogida de equipajes; planta primera, con 24.800 metros cuadrados, destinada a la sala de salidas y de embarque, con 11 pasarelas.

Además, el nuevo parking de guaguas tendrá capacidad para 88 plazas en llegadas y 13 en salidas.

Las principales actuaciones de esta obra son: la ampliación del Edificio Terminal hacia el Norte, la reubicación y ampliación del aparcamiento de guaguas y la remodelación de la parte del edificio actual, correspondiente a llegadas, para reconvertirla en salidas; Reposición y/o desvío de los servicios afectados por las obras. El edificio actual cuenta con un área de 33.852 metros cuadrados y se amplía hasta llegar a una superficie de 85.000 metros cuadrados, siendo la superficie construida de 51.147 metros cuadrados.

El Terminal actual se dedicará al flujo de salidas en sus plantas baja y primera. La parte ampliada acogerá las instalaciones de llegadas en su planta baja y las instalaciones de salida en su planta primera. Tras la ampliación, el sótano albergará las cintas transportadoras de equipajes en su parte sur y los alimentadores de hipódromos de recogida de equipajes en su parte norte, así como la mayoría de salas de instalaciones.

La ampliación del Edificio Terminal implica la ocupación parcial del actual parking de guaguas de 59 plazas, lo que conlleva la ejecución de uno nuevo. Dicho parking, según proyecto modificado, cuenta con 88 dársenas, 22 para microbuses y 66 para guaguas.

Las actuaciones que se llevarán a cabo en la urbanización exterior serán las siguientes: prolongación del actual vial frente al Terminal en lado tierra para dar servicio a la parte ampliada así como acceso a la rotonda principal del aeropuerto (vial de salida), construcción de nuevos viales que den entrada y salida al nuevo parking de guaguas (viales 7 y 8) y prolongación del vial de servicio en lado aire.

El vial en lado aire se proyecta en prolongación del existente, paralelo al edificio Terminal y a la obra ‘Ampliación de Plataforma 1ª Fase’ para conectar con el vial ejecutado por la obra ‘Ampliación de Plataforma 2ª Fase’.

The total budget of this project comes to 55.752.071 euros, which will welcome over 7 million passengers per year.

The new building is split in three floors: underground floor with a surface of 25.700 square meters; ground floor, with 34.700 square meters, where the check in area will be situated, with a capacity of 72 check in desks, the arrivals and luggage terminal; the first floor with 24.800 square meters will contain the departure lounges and 11 gates. Furthermore, the new bus parking area will have a capacity of 88 spaces for arrivals and 13 for departures.

The main points of this project are: increasing the size of the Terminal towards the North, move and increase the size of bus parking area and reorganise the present building’s arrivals’ area to convert it into departures; relocate services affected by the building work. The present building consists of 33.852 square meters which will increase to 85.000 square meters of which 51.147 square meters of built surface.

The present Terminal will house departures on the ground and first floors. The extension will house arrivals on the ground floor and departures on the first floor.

Through the extension, the underground floor will house the luggage conveyor belts and the luggage recovery area as well as most of the installation rooms.

The Terminal’s extension occupies part of the current bus parking area of 59 spaces, which implies the creation of a new one. This parking area, according to the modified project, consists of 88 spaces, 22 for microbuses and 66 for buses.

The building work carried out on the exterior will consist of: extending the current lane in front of the Terminal to service the new extended Terminal side and give access to the main airport roundabout (exit lane), new roads going in and out of the bus parking area (roads 7 and 8) and extension of the lane on the «air» side of the Terminal.

This lane on the «air» side will be a prolongation of the existing one, parallel to the Terminal and the first phase of the Platform’s extension to connect it to the other lane built for the second phase of the Platform’s

Die wichtigsten Arbeiten sind folgende: Erweiterung des Terminalgebäudes in Richtung Norden, die Umlegung und Vergrößerung des Parkplatzes für Busse und die Umgestaltung eines Teils des Gebäudes, wodurch aus der Ankunftshalle die Abflughalle wird; Ersatz und /oder Umleitung der betroffenen Leistungen. Das heutige Gebäude verfügt über eine Fläche von 33.852 Quadratmetern und wird nach der Erweiterung über eine Fläche von 85.000 Quadratmetern verfügen, mit einer bebauten Fläche von 51.147 Quadratmetern.

Das Erdgeschoss und der erste Stock des heutigen Terminals ist für die Abflüge bestimmt. Im erweiteten Teil werden Erdgeschoss die Einrichtungen für die Ankünfte untergebracht und die Einrichtungen für die Abflüge im ersten Stock. Nach der Erweiterung wird das Untergeschoss im südlichen Teil die Transportbänder für Gepäck beherbergen und im nördlichen Teil die Zuleitungen der Laufbänder der Gepäckausgabe sowie die Mehrzahl der Räume für Installationen.

Die Erweiterung des Terminalgebäudes bringt eine partielle Belegung des heutigen Busparkplatzes mit 59 Parkplätzen mit sich, weshalb ein weiterer gebaut wird.

Dieser Parkplatz wird nach dem geänderten Projekt 88 Bussen Raum bieten, 22 Kleinbussen undAutobussen.

In der äußeren Siedlung werden folgende Eingriffe gemacht: Verlängerung der bestehenden Straße auf der anderen Seite vor dem Terminal, um die Zufahrt zum erweiterten Teil und zu dem Hauptrondell des Flughafens (Abfahrtstrasse) zu ermöglichen, Bau von neuen Straßen, die als Zu- und Ausfahrten des neuen Busparkplatzes dienen (Straßen 7 und 8) und Verlängerung der Straße auf der Flugseite.

Die Straße auf der Flugseite ist als Verlängerung der schon bestehenden gedacht, parallel zum Gebäude des Terminal und den Arbeiten ‚Erweiterung der Plattform 1.

Phase‘, um durch die Arbeiten ‚ Erweiterung der Plattform 2. Phase’ eine Verkehrsanbindung zu schaffen’.

El Cabildo impulsa la recuperación de obras de arte FMHOY - Fuerteventura El Cabildo de Fuerteventura acomete la restauración del cuadro de Santa Francisca Romana, perteneciente a la Iglesia de Santa de Tetir, dentro de un proyecto más amplio que impulsa la Consejería de Cultura y Patrimonio Histórico mediante la realización simultánea de distintos trabajos de rehabilitación de bienes muebles de origen eclesiástico en cuatro iglesias y ermitas de la Isla.

El de Santa Francisca Romana es un caso particular, pues no se encuentra asociado al conjunto pictórico de la Iglesia de Santo Domingo de Tetir, uno de los más ricos de Fuerteventura, aunque la rehabilitación de la pintura está permitiendo ampliar la información que se tenía sobre su origen y características. Se trata de una pintura de caballete de gran formato, realizada con técnica al óleo sobre lienzo.

Desde que comenzaron los trabajos, el equipo de restauradores que dirige Chus Morante continúa investigado el estilo y la técnica del autor, con el objetivo de establecer una datación concreta sobre el origen y la autoría de la pintura. Por el momento ya se conoce, tal y como recoge una inscripción ubicada al anverso de la pintura, que el cuadro fue cedido a la Parroquia de Tetir por Amparo Rojo Manrique, en el año 1919.

En cuanto a las características del cuadro, la retirada de las capas más superficiales de pintura ha permitido descubrir una riqueza artística de la obra. En el margen izquierdo de la pintura, donde algún conservador posterior al autor había ubicado una ventana sobre una pared de madera, han aparecido dos figuras que se corresponden con un ángel y un burro cargando un hato de madera, dos elementos que, según explica Chus Morante, «se corresponden con la iconografía tradicionalmente asociada a la figura de Santa Francisca Romana, que era una monja que destacó por una gran capacidad de trabajo».

Este descubrimiento permite constatar que la pintura fue concebida originalmente por el autor para representar a Santa Francisca Romana desde un principio. Fundadora de las Oblatas, orden laica de mujeres piadosas, Santa Francisca Romana (Roma, 1384 – 1440) destacó por su humildad y por su labor de atención a los pobres. Tuvo la gracia de los milagros, el éxtasis y la visión de su ángel de la guarda, por lo que fue canonizada por Pablo V en 1608.

El principal problema que presentaba la obra era el profundo desgaste de la pintura, hasta el extremo de dejar al descubierto el lienzo en varias áreas de su superficie. La obra ha sido radiografiada y escrutada con luz negra para tratar de descubrir detalles de interés, y para discernir la pintura original de los repintes posteriores. Actualmente la pintura se encuentra libre de imperfecciones, por lo que en lo que resta de mes el equipo de restauradores se centrará en devolver

mediante la aplicación de colores y barnices la pintura a su estado original.

RESTAURACIONES EN MARCHA Dentro de las campañas de restauración del Patrimonio Cultural que el Cabildo de Fuerteventura viene realizando, actualmente se están llevando a cabo en el Patrimonio Cultural Mueble las siguientes restauraciones, además de la del lienzo de Santa Francisca Romana: Restauración del políptico existente en la iglesia de Ntra. Sra. de la Candelaria de la Oliva. Esta obra está compuesta de cinco cuadros perteneciente al pincel del pintor Juan de Miranda y preside la nave central de la iglesia parroquial de la Oliva.

Restauración de los púlpitos pertenecientes a la Iglesia de Santa Ana de Casillas del Ángel y a la ermita de Santa Inés del Valle de Santa Inés. En cuanto a la restauración del primero de ellos, el de la iglesia de Santa Ana, es de destacar la interesante policromía que ha sido descubierta bajo varias capas de repintes.

También en esta iglesia se lleva a cabo la restauración de la silla de Santa Ana, importante grupo escultórico que se conserva en este templo.

Dos obras cuya restauración ha sido concluidas últimamente son las llevadas a cabo en el púlpito de la ermita de San Pedro de Alcántara y en el cuadro de Ánimas de la misma ermita.

The Cabildo undertakes art renovations FMHOY - Fuerteventura Fuer teventura’s Cabildo is undertaking the renovation of the Saint Frances of Rome painting that belongs to Santa de Tetir Church within a larger project from the Culture and Historical Heritage Council that aims to recover and restore ecclesiastic items in four churches and chapels of the Island.

The painting of Saint Frances of Rome it is a particular case as it is not associated with the pictorial collection of Santo Domingo de Tetir, which is one of the richest in Fuerteventura, although the painting’s restoration will reveal new information about its origins and characteristics. It is a large easel, an oil painting on canvass.

Since the beginning of the renovation work, the team carrying out the work lead by Chus Morante is

investigating the technique used by the author, in order to date and establish accurately the origin of the painting. At present, they know, from an inscription on the reverse of the painting, that it was given to the Parish of Tetir by Amparo Rojo Manrique in 1919.

As for the characteristics of the painting, after removing the superficial layers of paint it has been possible to discover the artistic richness of the work of art. On the left margin, where some curator, after the author, had placed a window on a wooden wall, two personages appear that correspond to an angel and a donkey carrying wood, two elements that according to Chus Morante, «correspond to the iconography traditionally associated with the personage of Saint

Frances of Rome, who was a nun known for her hard working abilities».

This discovery means that the painting was originally conceived by the author to represent Saint Frances of Rome. She created the Oblates, which is a lay congregation of devout women, Saint Frances of Rome (Rome, 1384 – 1440) was known for her humility and for her work to help the poor. She had the gift of miracles and ecstasy, as well as the bodily vision of her guardian angel, and was canonized by Pope Paul V in 1608.

The main problem that the painting presented was the serious damaged state of the paint, to the point of having parts of the canvas showing in some areas. The painting was scanned and scrutinized with black light in order to try to find interesting details, and to distinguish the original paint from posterior painting touch ups. At present the painting is no longer showing imperfections, which means that the team will spend the rest of the month concentrating on bringing the paint back to its original state thanks to colours and varnishes.

RESTORATIONS UNDER WAY Within the Cultural Heritage restoration campaign that Fuerteventura’s Cabildo is carrying out, at present there are various restorations being done on Cultural Heritage Pieces in addition to that of Saint Frances of Rome’s painting: Restoration of the existing Altarpiece in the church of Nuestra Señora de la Candelaria in la Oliva. This piece is composed of five painting from Juan de Miranda and is situated at the centre of the central nave of la Oliva’s parish church.

Restoration of the pulpits in Santa Ana’s Church of Casillas del Ángel and in Santa Inés’ Chapel in Valle de Santa Inés. Regarding the pulpit of Santa Ana’s Church, the restoration has uncovered a very interesting example of polychrome under various layers of paint. The restoration of Santa Ana’s chair is also under way in this same church, which represent a very important sculpture group being preserved in this temple.

Two restorations have recently completed which are the pulpit of San Pedro’s Chapel in Alcántara and the Ánimas painting in the same Chapel.

Der Cabildo fördert die Restaurierung von Kunstwerken Der Cabildo von Fuer teventura führ t Restaurierungsarbeiten des Bildes der Heiligen Franziska von Rom durch, welches der Kirche Iglesia de Santa von Tetir gehört. Dieses geschieht im Rahmen eines größeren Projektes des Amtes für Kultur und historisches Erbe, das durch die gleichzeitige Ausführung von verschiedenen Restaurierungsarbeiten beweglicher Kirchengütern in vier Kirchen und Wallfahrtskapellen der Insel durchführt wird.

Das Bild der Heiligen Franziska von Rom ist ein besonderer Fall, da es nicht zu dem Gemälde-Komplex der Kirche Iglesia de Santo Domingo von Tetir gehört, der einer der vollständigsten von Fuerteventura ist.

Durch die Restaurierung des Bildes wird es ermöglicht, mehr Informationen über seine Ursprünge und Merkmale zu erhalten. Es ist ein großes Staffeleibild, das mit Öl auf Leinen gemalt wurde.

Seit Beginn der Arbeiten ist das von Chus Morante

geleitete Team dabei, über den Stil und die Technik des Autors zu forschen, um eine genaue Datierung über Ursprung und Urheberschaft des Bildes zu erstellen.

Man weiß inzwischen schon, wie es in einer Inschrift auf der Rückseite des Bildes steht, dass das Bild 1919 von Amparo Rojo Manrique der Pfarrei von Tetir geschenkt worden ist.

Was die Merkmale des Bildes betrifft, wurde durch die Entfernung der obersten Schichten ermöglicht, den künstlerischen Reichtum des Werkes zu entdecken, wo irgendein späterer Konservator ein Fenster über eine Holzwand gemalt hatte. Darunter kamen Figuren zum Vorschein, die einem Engel und einem Esel entsprechen, welcher mit einem Bündel Holz beladen ist. Chus Morante erklärt, dass dies zwei Elemente sind, die «der Ikonographie entsprechen, welche traditionell zusammen mit der Figur der Heiligen Franziska von Rom auftauchen, einer Nonne, die wegen ihrer großen Leistung auffiel».

Durch diese Entdeckung wird es ermöglicht festzustellen, dass der Autor mit diesem Gemälde von Anfang an beabsichtigte, die Heilige Franziska von Roma darzustellen. Diese war die Gründerin der Oblaten, einem Laienorden für pietistische Frauen. Die Heilige Franziska von Rom (Rom, 1384 – 1440) fiel wegen ihrer Bescheidenheit und ihrer Arbeit im Dienst der Armen auf. Sie erlebte die Gnade von zwei Wundern, die Extase und die Erscheinung ihres Schutzengels, weshalb sie 1608 von Paul V. heilig gesprochen wurde.

Das größte Problem bei den Arbeiten war der schlechte Zustand des Gemäldes, da sogar Teile des Leinens frei lagen. Das Werk wurde durchleuchtet und

mit schwarzem Licht untersucht, um interessante Details zu entdecken und das Originalbild von den späteren Übermalungen zu unterscheiden. Heute ist das Bild frei von Unvollkommenheiten, weshalb das Team von Restauratoren sich im Rest des Monats darauf konzentrieren wird, es durch Anwendung von Farben und Lackierungen wieder seinen ursprünglichen Zustand annehmen zu lassen.

LAUFENDE RESTAURIERUNGARBEITEN Im Rahmen der Kampagnen für die Restaurierung des kulturellen Erbes, das der Cabildo von Fuerteventura zurzeit durchführt, werden gerade außer dem Ölbild der Heiligen Franziska von Rom folgende Arbeiten im Bereich des mobilen Kulturgutes durchgeführt: Restaurierung des in der Kirche Ntra. Sra. de la Candelaria in La Oliva existierenden Polyptychon. Dieses Werk besteht aus fünf Bildern des Malers Juan de Miranda und hängt im zentralen Schiffe der Pfarrkirche von La Oliva.

Restaurierung der Kanzeln der Kirche Ana in Casillas del Ángel und der Wallfahrtskapelle Santa Inés in Valle de Santa Inés. Was die Restaurierung der ersten betrifft, den der Kirche Santa Ana, muss die interessante Polychromie hervorgehoben werden, die unter verschiedenen Schichten Übermalungen entdeckt wurde. Ebenfalls in dieser Kirche findet die Restaurierung des Stuhls der Santa Ana statt, einem bedeutenden Skulpturenkomplexes, der dort aufbewahrt wird.

Zwei Werke, deren Restaurierungsarbeiten kürzlich abgeschlossen wurden, sind die, die in der Kanzel der Wallfahrtskapelle von de San Pedro de Alcántara und

Gran participación en el IV Corto Festival Dunas de Cine y Vídeo ACFIPRESS - Fuerteventura El Cabildo de Fuerteventura colabora en la organización del IV Corto Festival Dunas de Cine y Vídeo, que se celebrará paralelamente en los municipios de La Oliva, Puerto del Rosario y Tuineje del 2 al 10 de mayo de este año. La sala de reuniones del Centro de Arte Juan Ismael acogió la presentación del evento, a cargo de la consejera insular de Cultura, Genara Ruíz, el director del Festival, Miguel Díaz, la coordinadora de Cultura del Ayuntamiento de La Oliva, Janet Alemán, y la coordinadora de la organización, María Sanz.

Miguel Ángel Díaz, director del Festival, se refirió a los pormenores de un festival que en esta cuarta edición «se consolida como un referente a nivel de Canarias, y se posiciona en el panorama cinematográfico nacional». De los 280 trabajos presentados, destacó la gran calidad de los mismos, la amplitud de géneros tratados, y la variedad de procedencias de los cortos que concurren de varios países de Europa, aunque dirigidos por realizadores españoles.

El Corto Festival contará con una Sección Oficial, centrada en la proyección de los trabajos nominados a los Premios Dunas 2009, paralelamente entre los días 4 y 7 de mayo en la Casa de los Coroneles, el Auditorio de Corralejo, el Centro Bibliotecario Insular de Puerto Rosario y el Auditorio de Gran Tarajal; y una Sección Informativa, en que se brindará la oportunidad de visionar aquellos trabajos que no hayan sido seleccionados, pero que cuenten con calidad suficiente para ser proyectados ante el público.

Asimismo, el programa de esta cuarta edición incluye variedades como la realización de cuatro cursos formativos –dos de ellos dirigidos por Koldo Zuazua y Mariel Maciá-, una mesa redonda con los miembros del jurado, un encuentro de realizadores y cineastas o una exposición fotográfica centrada en los rodajes cinematográficos llevados a cabo en la Isla de Fuerteventura.

Der Cabildo von Fuerteventura ist an der Organisation des IV. Kurzfilmfestivals Dunas de für Film und Video beteiligt, das vom 2. bis zum 10. Mai dieses Jahres gleichzeitig in den Gemeinden von La Oliva, Puerto del Rosario und Tuineje stattfinden wird. Die Präsentation dieses Events fand im Sitzungssaal des Kunstzentrum statt.

Dabei waren die Inselbeauftragte für Kultur, Genara Ruiz, der Direktor des Festivals, Miguel Díaz, die Koordinatorin für Kultur der Gemeinde von La Oliva, Janet Alemán, und die Koordinatorin der Organisation, María Sanz, teil.

Miguel Ángel Díaz, der Direktor des Festivals, bezog sich auf die Einzelheiten eines Festivals, das zum vierten Mal stattfindet und «auf den Kanaren eine große Bedeutung bekommen hat und auch im Bereich des nationalen Kinos seinen Platz verteidigt». Er betonte die hervorragende Qualität der 280 Arbeiten, die präsentiert werden, die Vielseitigkeit der behandelten Themen und Ursprungsorte der Kurzfilme, die aus verschiedenen Ländern Europas kommen, auch wenn sie von spanischen Regisseuren gemacht wurden.

Das Kurzfilmfestival hat eine offizielle Sektion für die Aufführung von Filmen, die mit den Preisen Dunas 2009 ausgezeichnet wurden. Dies findet am 4. und am 7. Mai gleichzeitig in der Casa de los Coroneles, im Auditorio de Corralejo, im Inselbibliothekszentrum von Puerto Rosario und im Auditorium von de Gran Tarajal statt. Außerdem gibt es eine informative Sektion, in der die Arbeiten gezeigt werden, die nicht ausgewählt wurden, aber trotzdem gut genug sind, um öffentlich vorgeführt zu werden.

«Ni siquiera un banco produce la rentabilidad de estas plantas» FMHOY - Fuerteventura Lorenzo y Ángel han creado una empresa Soluciones Energéticas Canarias, S.L., dedicada a la instalación de plantas de energía solar fotovoltaica. Ambos tienen una dilatada experiencia en el campo de la electricidad con compañías dedicadas a las tradicionales instalaciones eléctricas, pero han sumado conocimientos y experiencia para incursionar en este nuevo campo de energía renovable, que parece ser una fuente importante de ingresos y por lo tanto, un nuevo concepto de negocio e inversión.

¿Qué son las energías renovables?

Son fuentes de energía que, ya sea por su gran capacidad de autogeneración, o por la abundancia existente de las mismas, son virtualmente inagotables. ¿Cuáles son estas energías?

Hay diferentes tipos de energías renovables como la eólica, solar térmica o fotovoltaica, hidráulica, mareomotríz (producida por las corrientes marinas), biomasa, geotérmica, pila de hidrógeno, entre otras.

La eólica ya se emplea en Fuerteventura…

Sí, pero esas instalaciones están muy restringidas por el gobierno, y las solares son mas accesibles y con mas futuro. ¿Cuál es el interés tan generalizado por este tipo de energía solar en la isla y en general en toda España?

Como consecuencia del Tratado de Kioto, España debe alcanzar antes del año 2.012 unos objetivos en materia de viabilidad medioambiental. Por ello el gobierno ha favorecido este sector con diversas medidas, dando lugar a un producto rentable. ¿Porqué los inversores están tan interesados en este tipo de instalaciones?

La inversión que se realiza, está amortizada en los diez primeros años, con la venta de electricidad que el propietario de la instalación hace a las compañías eléctricas. Y el contrato de compra de esta electricidad tiene una duración de 25 años. Además hasta el comienzo de la crisis los bancos financiaban con mucha facilidad la instalación, con el aval de la nave o pignorando incluso el pago de la compañía durante esos primeros años; ahora es todo un poco más complicado. ¿Son muy caras estas instalaciones?

El mínimo que se realiza es para 10 kw de potencia y se necesita una extensión de 100m2. Esta puede ser en suelo urbano o industrial y normalmente se utilizan techos de naves industriales para este fin, si bien cualquier techo podría servir. Si bien el precio ha bajado, por la bajada de los paneles solares principalmente, ese mínimo viene a costar unos 40.000• aproximadamente.

Es sorprendente que sólo se pueda poner en suelo rústico o urbano, habiendo tanto suelo agrícola abandonado y naves en suelo rústico que, bajo cierto control para salvaguardar las zonas turísticas, se prestarían de forma incluso más estética a

estas grandes instalaciones.

Nos consta que el Cabildo está trabajando en ello, máxime cuando en la península este tipo de suelos es el más utilizado. Se habla de habilitar ciertas zonas, pero al día de hoy, aún no se sabe nada con certeza.

Por otro lado, los impuestos que se cobran por las instalaciones no están acorde de un municipio a otro y son más altos que en el resto de España. Existen, en fin, algunas incertidumbres, que confiamos sean resueltas por la administración satisfactoriamente.

Realmente sería una salida económica tanto para los dueños de ciertos terrenos no útiles y también una mejora en cuanto a ingresos para la isla.

La Ley es la misma para todos, pero aquí la aplicación es diferente y mas complicada, y cuando quieran arreglar estas dificultades no van a quedar inversores que puedan acceder o ya no será económicamente tan rentable como negocio comenzar una planta. Además estas plantas de energía tienen entre otros beneficios el ser una inversión admitida para la R.I.C. Antes estos beneficios se podían emplear con más libertad en cualquier tipo de inversión pero en la actualidad están sólo permitidos en algunas partidas y la instalación de estas plantas de energía es una de ellas.

Además, existe un cupo máximo para todo el territorio nacional por lo que, si no se flexibilizan o agilizan las leyes locales, se perderá una gran oportunidad tanto para los empresarios como para los dueños de suelo y cubiertas. Hay que recordar que ni tan siquiera un banco produce la rentabilidad de estas plantas solares.

In order to achieve this objective Spain had to give incentives on this market so that wealthy businesses would invest and get their profit from the difference between what they get per kw, and the price paid by the consumer to Endesa, Unelco, etc. which is financed by the Spanish Government.

Why are investors so interested in this type of installation?

The investment the owners make is recouped within the first ten years with the profit generated from the electricity sold to electric companies. And the purchase contract for this electricity lasts 25 years. Furthermore, until the beginning of the crisis, banks used to finance easily those types of installations, taking the facilities as a guarantee or even by reducing the payments to the company for those first few years; it is now more complicated.

Are those installations expensive?

The minimum size of installation is 100m2 that have a 10 kw potency. This can be done on urban or industrial ground and normally the roofs of industrial units are used for this type of installation.

It is cheaper now because the price of solar panels has gone down too, which compensates the fact that the retail price has also come down. At present the minimum cost is 40.000 euros approximately.

It is surprising that they can only be built on rural or urban land when we know how much agricultural land is left abandoned and building industrial units on rural land, as long as it is kept under some kind of control to safeguard tourist areas, would be more appropriate for those larges installations.

Curiously Fuerteventura’s Cabildo says that it is trying to solve this issue that only occurs in the Canaries.

(On the rest of the territory they tend to create those installations on rural land mainly). There are talks about allowing some areas to receive solar plants on rural land, such as the old airport and Tefía, which may not be the best areas, but they would generate some profits for the Cabildo. On the other hand the taxes that are paid on those installations are not equal from one municipality to the other and are much higher that anywhere else in Spain. Here they are considered as new build whereas it is completely different.

It would really be a financial breakthrough for the owners of some useless plots of land and it would

improve the island’s incomes.

The law is the same for everyone but here the application is different and complicated, and by the time they get to attend to those difficulties there won’t be any investors left that will be able to invest or it won’t be financially profitable enough to build new plants. Furthermore those power plants also have the financial advantage of being an investment recognised by the R.I.C. In the past, it was possible to use those funds more freely for any type of investment but nowadays they can only be used in some areas and the installation of those power plants is one of them.

Periodically some quotas are allocated for the whole national territory but they have a deadline and if they are not completed in some areas they are allocated to others. During the last period we lost a great opportunity as we didn’t even reach 20% of what could have been produced. If they don’t bring flexibility to those laws we will loose again during this new period and we should remember that even a bank does not produce as much profit as those solar plants.

«Noch nicht einmal eine Bank ist so rentabel wie diese Anlagen» FMHOY = Fuerteventura Lorenzo und Ángel haben das Unternehmen Soluciones Energéticas Canarias, S.L., gegründet, das sich der Einrichtung von solaren Photovoltaikanlagen widmet. Beide haben viel Erfahrung im Bereich der Elektrizität. Diese machten sie in Unternehmen für traditionelle elektrische Anlagen, aber sie vereinten ihre Kenntnisse und ihre Erfahrung, um in diesen neuen Bereich der erneuerbaren Energien einzusteigen, der eine bedeutende Einnahmequelle und somit ein neues Konzept für Geschäfte und Investitionen zu sein scheint.

Was sind erneuerbare Energien?

Es sind die Energien, die sich selbst erneuern und die in so großer Menge zur Verfügung stehen, dass sie, auch wenn wir sie benutzen, für Jahrhunderte oder Jahrtausende halten.

Wenn sie auf verantwortungsvolle Weise benutzt werden, schaden Sie der Umwelt nicht.

Welche Energien sind das?

Es gibt verschiedene Arten der erneuerbaren Energien, die Windenergie, die thermische Sonnenenergie oder die Photovoltaikenergie, die Wasserenergie, die Gezeitenkraft (die von Wellen erzeugt wird), Biomasseenergie, geothermische Energie und Wasserstoffenergie.

Die Windenergie wird auf Fuerteventura schon eingesetzt…

Ja, aber diese Einrichtungen werden von der Regierung beschränkt. Die Sonnenenergien sind die zugänglichsten und haben am meisten Zukunft.

Warum besteht auf der Insel und in ganz Spanien so großes Interesse an der Sonnenenergie?

Als Folge des Protokolls von Kioto hat sich Spanien verpflichtet, vor dem Jahr 2012 das europäische Nichtverschmutzungsniveau zu erreichen. Um dies zu erreichen, musste es Leistungspakete auf den Markt werfen, so dass die Unternehmer Geld investieren können, deren Gewinn daraus besteht, dass die Differenz zwischen dem Preis, den sie pro kW zahlen, und dem Endpreis, den der Verbraucher an die Unternehmen Endesa, Unelco usw. zahlt, von der Regierung Spaniens finanziert wird.

Warum sind die Investoren so sehr an diesen Einrichtungen interessiert?

Die durchgeführte Investition wird in den ersten zehn Jahren amortisiert, mit dem Verkauf der Elektrizität durch den Besitzer der Einrichtungen an die Elektrizitätsunternehmen. Der Vertrag über den Verkauf dieser Elektrizität dauert 25 Jahre. Dazu kommt, dass die Banken bis zu Beginn der Krise die Installation leicht mit einer Bürgschaft des Gebäudes finanzierten oder sogar dadurch, dass die Zahlung des Unternehmens während der ersten Jahre verpfändet werden. Jetzt ist alles etwas schwieriger geworden.

Sind diese Installationen sehr teuer?

Man produziert mindestens für 10 kW Leistung und dafür benötigt man eine Fläche von 100 m2. Dies kann auf städtischem oder industriellem Boden geschehen.

Normalerweise werden dafür Dächer von Industriehallen verwendet.

Der Preis ist gesunken, da die Solarplatten billiger geworden sind, um den verringerten Verkaufspreis zu kompensieren. Zurzeit kostet diez mindestens um die 40.000 •.

Es ist überraschend, dass dies nur auf industriellem oder städtischem Boden funktioniert, wo es auf dem Land soviel verlassene Grundstücke und Hallen gibt. Diese würden sich, mit einer gewissen Kontrolle zum Schutz der touristischen Gegenden, besser dafür eignen und wären ästhetischer.

Erstaunlicherweise sagt der Cabildo von Fuerteventura, dass er dabei ist, eine Lösung für dieses Problem zu suchen, das durch ein Gesetz erzeugt wurde, das es nur auf den Kanaren gibt. (Im restlichen Spanien

sind die meisten Anlagen auf dem Land). Es wird darüber gesprochen, in einigen ländlichen Gegenden Solaranlagen zu genehmigen. Es scheint, dass dafür der ehemalige Flughafen und Tefía ausgewählt wurden.

Dies sind zwar nicht die Gegenden, die sich dafür am besten eignen würden, aber dadurch würden einige Vorteile für den Cabildo entstehen. Einerseits sind die Steuern, die für diese Installationen eingetrieben werden, nicht in allen Gemeinden gleich, und hier sind sie wesentlich höher als überall sonst in Spanien. Hier wird es als neuer Bau bezeichnet, auch wenn dies in Wirklichkeit nicht so ist.

Dies wäre tatsächlich sowohl für die Besitzer von einigen nicht genutzten Landstücken eine Möglichkeit, Geschäfte zu machen, und gleichzeitig würden so die Einnahmen der Insel erhöht.

Das Gesetz ist für alle gleich, aber hier ist die Anwendung anders und komplizierter, und wenn man sich bemühen wird, diese Schwierigkeit zu beseitigen, wird es keine Investoren mehr geben, die dazu in der Lage sind, oder es wird zu diesem Zeitpunkt kein so rentables Geschäft sein, eine Anlage zu eröffnen, wie heute. Außerdem gehört zu den Vorteilen dieser Anlagen, dass sie zu den von der R.I.C. zugelassenen Investitionen gehören. Früher konnten diese Vergünstigungen freier bei jeder Art von Investition verwendet werden, aber jetzt werden diese nur in einigen Bereichen genehmigt, zu denen auch die Installierung dieser Energieanlagen gehört.

Es ist paradox, dass einige Kontingente für ganz Spanien mit einem letztmöglichen Datum herauskommen, und wenn sie nicht in einer Zone eingesetzt werden, werden sie einer anderen zugeteilt.

In der vergangenen Periode haben wir schon eine große Gelegenheit versäumt und deckten nicht einmal 20 % von dem ab, was man hätte machen können. Wenn die Gesetze nicht flexibler werden, verpassen wir auch in dieser neuen Periode einiges. Man muss außerdem daran denken, dass noch nicht einmal eine Bank so rentabel ist wie diese Solaranlagen.

Chiqui Caravante – Guionista y director de cine

La Oliva… ¡Se rueda!

FMHOY - Fuerteventura Comenzó en el mundo del cortometraje (Los días felices -1998 y Bailongas – 2000) y su primer largometraje (Carlos contra el mundo) se rodó en el año 2002. Ahora comienza un nuevo proyecto por la gran pantalla en este mes de abril. Para rodar este nuevo trabajo a elegido Fuerteventura como escenario natural, y ha seleccionado en la isla a actores y figurantes durante el pasado mes de marzo. El nombre de esta comedia es «Doce más uno», y de subtitulo «Una comedia metafísica» Cuéntenos más de este proyecto…

Estoy muy entusiasmado y va por muy buen camino, he creado una productora, Divina Mecánica S.L., y a través de ella hemos conseguido la ayuda del Ministerio de Cultura y también un gran apoyo de la Diputación de Málaga y aún esperamos conseguir algunas otras financiaciones.

Es una película de bajo presupuesto, pero cuento con la colaboración de todo el equipo, que esta entusiasmado y muy involucrado. Quiero hacer mucho hincapié en que es gracias al factor humano, que están trabajando casi como si de una cooperativa se tratase, pero bajo el amparo legal de mi productora con la intención de sacar el proyecto hacia delante. ¿Porque el subtitulo de comedia metafísica?

Porque aunque tiene una parte sería y con mucho respeto al personaje de Jesús, y también a sus apóstoles, al mismo tiempo lleva una gran dosis de humor.

Me imagino que siempre habrá gente que se escandalizará, porque al tratar estos temas siempre pasa, pero el guión es una búsqueda de lo que pudo ocurrir

en ese tiempo que pasó en el desierto, cuando el Maestro esta en duda y los apóstoles que le acompañan no saben que estaba buscando. Esta engarzado como los cuentos orientales con un final paradójico.

Podría decirse que el guión esta entre la famosa Vida de Brian y el Evangelio según San Mateo de Pasolini «. ¿El guión es suyo, o es una adaptación?

El guión es mío, lo comencé hace ya tiempo como un cuento, tenía unas 18 páginas y poco a poco se ha convertido en un guión de 80 páginas. ¿Eligió Fuerteventura por las características de su paisaje?

El guión esta escrito para que se desarrolle en el desierto y cuando nos pusimos a buscar desiertos en España, tras una primera visita a la isla, me gustó mucho.

Aunque primero pensé en Marruecos, se descartó por varios motivos, entre otros porque la isla nos permite rodar en diferentes paisajes. Filmaremos en las dunas, en la playa y también en Montaña Roja, y pensamos usar unas casas abandonadas del municipio de Tuineje para recrear, con la ayuda del equipo de arte y los medios digitales, el pueblo de aquella época.

Háblenos del grupo de actores y técnicos que componen el elenco…

Salvador Caravante es el director de arte y vestuario, Melele Sánchez, director de producción, en sonido esta Daniel de Zayas que acaba de ganar un Goya, en cámara Juan González. Como actores contamos con Gorca Zubeldía, Julián Villagrán, probablemente Fernando Tejero, Javier Castro, Manolo Monteagudo, Jaime Puertas, Julián Manzano, Juanfra Juárez… Es-

La Oliva… Action!

FMHOY - Fuerteventura He started his career in the world of Short Films (Los días felices -1998 and Bailongas – 2000) and his first feature film (Carlos contra el mondo) was filmed in 2002. He now starts a new project for the big screen in April. He chose Fuerteventura as the natural scenery to shoot this film and selected actors and extras on the island during the month of March. The title of this comedy is «Doce más uno» (Twelve plus one), and the subheading is «Una comedia metafísica» (A metaphysical comedy).

Tell us more about this project…

I am very excited and it is going very well, I created a production company, Divina Mecánica S.L., and through this company we managed to get help from the Ministry of Culture and also from Malaga’s Council and we are still hoping for other grants.

This is a low budget movie, but I rely on the collaboration of the whole team, who is really enthusiastic and involved. I want to emphasise that it is for the human factor that they are working as if this was a cooperative, but under the legal protection of the production company in order to complete the project.

Where does the subheading «comedia metafísica» come from?

It is because although there is a serious part with much respect for Jesus and his apostles, there is also a great dose of humour. I guess there will always be people who will be offended, because it always happens with those themes, but the script is about a search of what could have happened in the desert, when the Master is in doubt and the apostles who are following him don’t know what they are looking for. It is set like an oriental tale with a paradoxical ending.

We could say that the script is somewhere between the famous Life of Brian and the Gospel according to St Matthew from Pasolini.

Is the script yours or is it an adaptation?

The script is mine, I started it a long time ago like a tale, it was 18 pages long and slowly it became an 80 pages script.

Did you choose Fuerteventura for the characteristics of its landscape?

The script is written with scenes in the desert; we started looking for deserts in Spain, and after a first visit to the Island, I really liked it. I first thought of Morocco but it was ruled out for various reasons, incidentally because the island allows us to shoot in

various types of landscapes. We will shoot in the dunes, on the beach and also in Montaña Roja, and we are thinking of using some abandoned houses in the municipality of Tuineje to recreate the village of that era with the help of the art team and digital methods.

Tell us about the group of actors and technicians of your cast…

Salvador Caravante is the art and wardrobe director, Melele Sánchez is the production director, for the sound we have Daniel de Zayas who has just won a Goya award and Juan González is shooting. As for actors we have Gorca Zubeldía, Julián Villagrán, probably Fernando Tejero, Javier Castro, Manolo Monteagudo, Jaime Puertas, Julián Manzano, Juanfra Juárez…

I hope I didn’t forget anyone as they are all amazing and important for this movie.

In La Oliva… wird gedreht!

FMHOY - Fuerteventura Er begann mit Kurzfilmen („Los días felices» -1998 und „Bailongas» – 2000) und sein erster Spielfilm (Carlos contra el mundo) wurde im April 2002 gedreht. Im April beginnt er ein neues Projekt für die große Leinwand. Er hat Fuerteventura wegen der Landschaft ausgewählt, um diesen Film zu drehen, und er hat im März auf der Insel Schauspieler und Statisten ausgesucht. Diese Komödie wird «Doce más uno» („Zwölf und einer») heißen, und der Untertitel lautet: «Eine metaphysische Komödie».

Erzählen Sie uns etwas mehr über dieses Projekt…

Ich bin ganz begeistert und alles läuft sehr gut. Ich habe die Produktionsfirma Divina Mecánica S.L gegründet, durch die wir es geschafft haben, vom Kulturministerium sowie vom Provinzialrat von Malaga unterstützt zu werden. Außerdem rechnen wir mit weiteren Unterstützungen.

Es ist ein Low-Budget-Film, aber ich werde von der ganzen Mannschaft unterstützt. Alle sind total begeistert und zeigen einen großen Einsatz. Ich möchte die Arbeit dieser Menschen sehr betonen, die fast so arbeiten, als wäre es eine Kooperative. Allerdings stehen sie unter dem Schutz meiner Produktionsgesesellschaft, die beabsichtigt, das Projekt durchzuführen.

Warum ist der Untertitel des Filmes «eine metaphysische Komödie»?

Weil der Film, obwohl er einen ernsten Teil hat und die Person von Jesus sowie die Apostel sehr respektiert, sehr humorvoll ist. Ich vermute, dass es immer Leute geben wird, die davon schockiert sind.

Das passiert immer, wenn man etwas über diese Themen macht. Aber das Drehbuch befasst sich damit,

was in der Wüste passiert sein konnte, als der Meister Zweifel hatte und die Apostel, die ihn begleiteten, nicht wussten, was er suchte. Der Film ist aufgebaut wie ein orientalisches Märchen und hat ein paradoxes Ende.

Man könnte sagen, dass es ein Mittelding zwischen dem berühmten «Leben des Brian» und dem «Evangelium nach Matthäus» von Pasolini ist».

Ist das Drehbuch vvon on Ihnen oder ist es eine Bearbeitung?

Es ist von mir. Ich habe es vor vielen Jahren wie ein Märchen begonnen. Ich hatte ungefähr 18 Seiten; nach und nach wurde ein 80-seitiges Drehbuch daraus.

Haben Sie Fuerteventura wegen der Landschaft ausgewählt?

Die Handlung spielt in der Wüste. Als wir eine Wüste in Spanien suchten, gefiel mir diese Insel sofort sehr gut.

Zuerst habe ich zwar an Marokko gedacht, habe diese Idee aber aus verschiedenen Gründen verworfen, unter anderem, weil es auf der Insel möglich ist, in verschiedenen Landschaften zu drehen. Wir werden auf den Dünen am Strand und in Montaña Roja drehen und denken daran, einige verlassene Häuser aus der Gemeinde von Tuineje zu nutzen, um mit Hilfe des Kunstteams und der digitalen Medien ein Dorf der Epoche zu schaffen.

Erzählen Sie uns mit etwas über die Schauspieler und Techniker, mit denen Sie arbeiten…

Salvador Caravante ist der Direktur für Kunst und Kostüme, Melele Sánchez ist Produktionsdirektor, für den Ton ist Daniel de Zayas verantwortlich, der gerade einen Goya gewonnen hat, und für die Kamera Juan González.

Edilia Pérez Guerra - Consejera de Deportes del Cabildo

«Vamos a seguir trabajando con los mismos objetivos que en años anteriores» FMHOY - Fuerteventura El motivo de esta entrevista con la Consejera de Deportes, Edilia Pérez Guerra, se debe básicamente, además del placer de conversar un ratito con ella, a la noticia de la no celebración el próximo mes de abril, como otros años, de la Feria del Deporte.

Nos ha sorprendido que, después del éxito de las tres anteriores Ferias del Deporte hayan decidido suprimirla este año.

Díganos Edilia ¿a que se debe esta decisión?

Es una decisión que nos ha costado mucho tomar, pues aunque la primera Feria nació tímidamente, la aceptación del público, el interés demostrado y la gran participación de la población, nos animaron a continuar los siguientes años, con mayor auge y resultados cada año. Por lo tanto tomar la decisión de no hacerla en el 2009 ha sido realmente difícil, pero la crisis y la dotación de presupuesto gravemente disminuida que ha tenido el Cabildo de Fuerteventura (20 millones de euros), nos ha obligado a tomar medidas con una política de enfoque distinta en la distribución del presupuesto en cada consejería. ¿Ese reajuste de presupuestos ha sido general?

Tuvimos que hacer todos, un ejercicio de responsabilidad intentando destinar el dinero sobre todo a obras sociales, obras públicas que generen trabajo y también promoción turística, que es el motor económico de la isla.

En el caso de deportes decidimos que lo fundamental para nosotros era seguir manteniendo el apoyo a la base, el transporte, el arbitraje, los gastos federativos, seguir invirtiendo en las instalaciones, etc. y sacrificar la Feria del Deporte.

Entendemos, por anteriores entrevistas, que la Feria no la financiaba al 100% el Cabildo de Fuerteventura.

Efectivamente más de la mitad del presupuesto de la Feria era inversión de los empresarios que colaboraban, pero también en la actualidad estos empresarios están pasando un momento difícil y no se les podría pedir demasiada colaboración.

Esta Feria ha motivado, sin duda, a practicar deporte a personas que no se habían planteado esa actividad y que, en muchos casos, desconocían esa disciplina que requiere el deporte, o se creían incapaces de practicarlo. Ha sido una gran sorpresa para los habitantes de esta isla, por lo que le preguntamos: En el ánimo de la Conserjería de Deportes y en especial de su consejera, persiste la idea tras este paréntesis, de continuar con la

Sí, desde luego esperamos que este mal momento económico, remonte en uno o dos años y que podamos seguir trabajando con los mismos objetivos que en años anteriores.

Volviendo hacia atrás a nuestra última entrevista, ¿podría hacer un pequeño balance de todo lo que en nuestra anterior charla estaba comenzando y que creemos que es la «base de apoyo» a la que se refería al principio de esta entrevista?

Hemos remodelado y arreglado unas 40 instalaciones deportivas municipales en toda la isla, para su utilización, que estaban siendo infrautilizadas por mal

estado. También tenemos comprometidas o empezadas unas diez obras que seguirán adelante.

Y a pesar de la crisis vamos ha seguir haciendo cosas, terminar todas las infraestructuras que tenemos comenzadas y apoyar los deportes y disciplinas nuevas que están entrando en Fuerteventura. ¿Cómo se sienten las diferentes federaciones con estas restricciones?

Me estoy reuniendo con las todas las federaciones deportivas y les estoy pidiendo un poco de paciencia, comprensión y colaboración tanto en cuidar las instalaciones, como en administrar los gastos de la forma más ahorrativa posible.

«We will continue working towards the same objectives as in previous years» FMHOY - Fuerteventura The motivation for this interview with the Sports’ Councillor, Edilia Pérez Guerra, in addition to having the pleasure to have a chat with her, was mainly due to the news that there would not be a Sports’ Fair in April this year.

We were surprised that after such a success with the last three Sports’ Fairs, it was decided to cancel it this year.

Tell us Edilia, what motivated this decision?

It was a decision that was really difficult to make; although the first fair was quite slow in coming along, the public’s response, the interest that it generated and the large participation of the population motivated us in carrying on for the following years, bringing more popularity and better results each year. Therefore the decision to not organise one in 2009 was quite difficult, but the crisis and the large reduction in Fuerteventura’s Cabildo’s budget (20 million euros), obliged us to change our policies as far as budget distribution for each council was concerned.

Was this a general Budget change?

We have all had to make efforts in our responsibilities and try to spend more on social matters, public actions that generate work and on promoting tourism, which is the island’s main industry.

Regarding sports, we decided that it was fundamental to continue supporting the base, transport, refereeing, and Federation fees, to continue investing in installations, etc. and to sacrifice the Sports’ Fair.

We understand, from previous interviews, that the Fair was not 100% financed by Fuerteventura’s Cabildo.

Edilia Pérez Guerra – Cabildo’s Sports’ Councillor This is correct, over half of the Fair’s budget was financed by collaborating businesses, but at present

those businesses are going through a tough time too and we could not ask them for much collaboration.

This Fair has undoubtedly motivated people, who had not thought about it before, to practise some sports that they didn’t know they could practise. It was a great surprise for this island’s habitants, which brings us to ask: Is the Sports’ Council, and in particular its councillor, still aiming at carrying on with the fair after this parenthesis?

Yes, of course, we hope that this economic crisis will get better within one or two years and that we will be able to continue working towards the same objectives as in previous years.

Going back to our last interview, could you give us a little progress report on all the projects that were under way at the time and that are «the base of the support» to which you were referring to at the beginning of this interview?

We have renovated and repaired about 40 municipal sports’ installations all over the island. We have also started about ten projects that will be completed.

And despite the crisis we will complete all the infrastructures that we have started and will support all the sports and new activities that are coming to Fuerteventura.

How are the federations being affected by those restrictions?

I am meeting each Sport’s Federation and I am asking them to have a bit of patience, understanding and collaboration regarding the installations’ maintenance, as well as with the administration of the fees that should be as conservative as possible.

Wir waren über die Entscheidung überrascht, die Messe für Sport, nach ihrem großen Erfolg in den letzten drei Jahren, dieses Jahr nicht abzuhalten.

Edilia, erzählen Sie uns bitte, warum diese Entscheidung gefällt wurde?

Es fiel uns schwer, diese Entscheidung zu treffen, denn obwohl die erste Messe unauffällig begann, motivierten uns das große Interesse der Bevölkerung und die Begeisterung des Publikums in den folgenden Jahren, mit noch mehr Einsatz weiter zu machen und hatten jedes Jahr mehr Erfolg. Deshalb war es wirklich

schwer, die Entscheidung zu fällen, sie im Jahr 2009 nicht zu veranstalten. Aber die Krise und das wesentlich geringere Budget des Cabildos von Fuerteventura (20 Millionen Euro), zwangen uns, durch eine andere Politik bei der Verteilung der Budgets für die verschiedenen Ämter, Maßnahmen zu ergreifen.

Fand diese Neuanpassung des Budgets überall statt?

Wir alle mussten Verantwortung zeigen und versuchen, das Geld vor allem für Soziales, öffentliche Bauarbeiten, durch die Arbeiten geschaffen werden, und die Förderung des Tourismus zu bestimmen, da dieser der Motor der Insel ist.

Im Sportbereich war es für uns das wichtigste, weiterhin die Basis zu unterstützen, den Transport, die Schiedsrichter, die föderativen Ausgaben, weiterhin in Installationen zu investieren und die Messe zu opfern.

Wir wissen aus früheren Interviews, dass diese Messe nicht zu 100% von dem Cabildo von Fuerteventura finanziert wurde.

In der Tat wurden mehr als die Hälfte der Kosten von den beteiligten Unternehmen getragen, aber auch für diese Unternehmer ist es zurzeit schwer, und wir könnten keinen sehr hohen Einsatz von ihnen erwarten.

Durch diese Messe wurden zweifellos Menschen dazu gebracht, Sport zu treiben, die nie daran gedacht hatten und oft nicht wussten, wie viel Disziplin man für den Sport braucht, oder dachten, dass sie nicht dazu in der Lage wären. Es war eine große Überraschung für die Bewohner der Insel, deshalb fragen wir Sie, ob das Amt für Sport und

vor allem die Beauftragte für Sport beabsichtigen, die Sportmesse nach dieser Unterbrechung in den folgenden Jahren wieder zu veranstalten?

Ja, natürlich hoffen wir, dass die aktuellen wirtschaftlichen Probleme nicht mehr als ein oder zwei Jahre dauern und dass wir so weiter arbeiten können, wie wir es in den vergangenen Jahren getan haben.

Ich möchte Sie an unser letztes Interview erinnern und bitte Sie, eine kurz Bilanz von all dem zu ziehen, wovon sie in unserem letzten Gespräch erzählt haben und was wir für die «Basis « halten, auf die Sie sich zu Beginn dieses Interviews bezogen?

Wir haben 40 sportliche Einrichtungen auf der ganzen Insel umgestaltet und repariert, die aufgrund ihres schlechten Zustandes ungenügend genutzt wurden, so dass sie wieder genutzt werden können.

Außerdem haben wir 10 weitere Bauarbeiten beschlossen, von denen einige schon angefangen werden. Diese werden alle fertig gestellt.

Trotz der Krise machen wir weiterhin Sachen. Wir vervollständigen schon bestehende Infrastrukturen und unterstützen die neuen Sportarten, die nach Fuerteventura kommen.

Wie geht es bei diesen Einschränkungen den verschiedenen Vereinen?

Ich treffe mich mit allen Sportvereinen und bitte sie um Geduld und Unterstützung bei der Pflege der Einrichtungen und dass sie bei den Ausgaben so sparsam wie möglich sind.

GALA DE LA CAZA DE LA FEDERACIÓN DE CAZA DE FUERTEVENTURA

El pasado mes de marzo se celebró la Gala de la Caza que organizaba por segundo año consecutivo, la Federación de Caza de Fuerteventura, con el patrocinio del Ayuntamiento de Antigua y el Cabildo insular, y la colaboración de la Caixa de Catalunya, Toyota y las Sociedades de Cazadores.

Durante la Gala se entregaron los Trofeos de la Temporada 2008, y los Premios Atlántico de la Caza, con las modalidades de ‘Toda una vida’, concedido a Miguel González Cedrés, ‘Valores humanos’ que recayó en Juan Curbelo Brito, ‘Leyenda deportiva’ premio concedido a Antonio Alonso Alonso, ‘Investigación’ otorgado a Paulino García Alvarado, ‘Empresa’ destacando la labor de la Caixa Catalunya, ‘Deporte y compromiso’ para Vicente González Santana, y una Mención Especial, otorgado a título póstumo, al «atleta y amigo de amigos», Aníbal Ramos Acosta.

Tras la entrega de premios y trofeos se invitó a los asistentes a una cena, amenizada con una actuación musical que convirtió la Gala en un encuentro anual donde los cazadores intercambiaron experiencias, y los veteranos daban consejos a los nuevos aficionados.

Im März fand die Jagdgala statt, die im zweiten aufeinander folgenden Jahr vom Jagdverein von Fuerteventura unter der Schirmherrschaft der Gemeinde von Antigua und des Cabildo der Insel organisiert wurde und die auch von der Caixa de Catalunya, Toyota und den Jagdgesellschaften unterstützt wurde.

Während der Gala wurden die Preise der Saison 2008 übergeben sowie die Preise Premios Atlántico der Jagd. Es gab folgende Modalitäten: ‘Ein ganzes Leben’, für Miguel González Cedrés, ‘menschliche Werte’ für Juan Curbelo Brito, ‘Sportlegende’ für Antonio Alonso Alonso, ‘Forschung’ für Paulino García Alvarado, ‘Unternehmen’, hier wurde die Bedeutung der Caixa Catalunya hervorgehoben, ‘Sport und Engagement’ für Vicente González Santana, und eine besondere Ehrung postum für den «Athleten und Freund der Freunde «, Aníbal Ramos Acosta.

Nach der Übergabe der Preise und Trophäen wurden die Anwesenden zum Abendessen eingeladen. Dieses begann mit einer Musikaufführung, wodurch das jährliche Treffen zu einer Gala wurde wo Jäger ihre Erfahrungen austauschten und Veteranen den Neulingen Ratschläge erteilten.

PROGRAMA DE BIENESTAR SOCIAL PARA FOMENTAR LA PARTICIPACIÓN FEMENINA

Cine, teatro, talleres de risoterapia e iniciación al Chi Kung, jornadas de autoayuda, actividades para niñas y niños, entre otros, forman parte del programa «¡Tómate un respiro!», que se celebrará hasta 17 de abril, en diversas localidades del municipio de La Oliva.

El programa está organizado por la Concejalía de Bienestar Social. «El objetivo es fomentar la participación social de las mujeres en la vida pública y contribuir a la eliminación de los obstáculos que dificultan la igualdad real entre ambos sexos», subraya la alcaldesa y concejala de Bienestar Social Rosa Fernández.

El programa de actividades está a disposición de las personas interesadas en el Ayuntamiento de La Oliva, la Tenencia de Alcaldía en Corralejo, centros de salud, centros culturales de todos los municipios, etc.

PROGRAMME OF SOCIAL WELLBEING TO PROMOTE FEMININE PARTICIPATION Cinema, theatre, risotherapy workshops, self-help open days, activities for children, and many more, are part of the programme «Take a breath!», that takes place until 17th April in various areas of the municipality of La Oliva.

This programme was created by the Social Wellbeing Council. «The objective is to get women to participate socially in the public life and help to erase the obstacles that make equality of sexes difficult», says the Mayor and Social Wellbeing Councillor Rosa Fernández.

Das Programm wird vom Amt für Soziales organisiert.

«Damit wird bezweckt, die soziale Beteiligung der Frauen am öffentlichen Leben zu fördern und dazu beizutragen, Barrieren gegen die Gleichberechtigung abzuschaffen», betont die Bürgermeisterin und Beauftragte für Soziales Rosa Fernández.

Interessierte Personen erhalten das Programm im Rathaus von La Oliva, dem Bezirksbürgermeisteramt von Corralejo, Gesundheitszentren, Kulturzentren aller Gemeinden usw.

FIRMA DEL CONTRATO PARA LA REHABILITACIÓN DEL CASCO HISTÓRICO DE CORRALEJO

La alcaldesa de La Oliva, Rosa Fernández Rodríguez, varios concejales del grupo de gobierno y un representante de OBRASCON HUARTE LAIN S.A. procedieron, el pasado mes de marzo, a la firma del contrato para la rehabilitación del casco histórico de Corralejo.

La ejecución del proyecto, uno de los cuatro que fueron aprobados por el Ministerio de Administraciones Públicas para ser financiado por el Fondo Estatal de Inversión Local, finalizará antes de un año.

La realización de las obras, con un presupuesto de 1.500.000 euros, supondrá la creación de 37 puestos de trabajo. El objetivo consiste en revalorizar el casco antiguo, regenerar la zona comercial abierta y facilitar la fluidez del tránsito peatonal. El proyecto incluye la retirada y el soterramiento del tendido aéreo, la rehabilitación de las fachadas y el repavimentado y acondicionamiento de los accesos a la playa.

EMBELLECIMIENT O DE LAS ENTRAD AS EMBELLECIMIENTO ENTRADAS A LLOS OS PUEBL OS PUEBLOS Tras la firma del contrato para la rehabilitación del casco antiguo de Corralejo, se procedió a la firma del contrato con un representante de la empresa MAXODIVER S.L. para el «Embellecimiento de los pueblos», otro proyecto del Fondo Estatal de Inversión Local que será abordado en breve. Este proyecto, que dará trabajo a 14 personas, tiene como objetivo potenciar el valor cultural y el atractivo turístico de los pueblos del municipio, e incluye el embellecimiento de la entrada del Cotillo mediante la intervención en los márgenes de la carretera que une El Cotillo con El Roque y la rehabilitación de muros, aceras y parterres de la Caldereta. El plazo de ejecución de estas obras no superará los ocho meses.

The renovation project, whose budget amounts to 1.500.000 euros, will create 37 jobs. The objective is to renovate the old village, refurbish the open commercial area and make pedestrian transit easier.

VERSCHÖNER UNG DER ZUF AHR TEN ZU DEN VERSCHÖNERUNG ZUFAHR AHRTEN OR TSCHAFTEN ORTSCHAFTEN Nach der Unterzeichnung des Vertrages für die Sanierung des historischen Stadtkerns von Corralejo wurde mit einem Ver treter des Unternehmens MAXODIVER S.L. der Vertrag über die „Verschönerung der Zufahrten der Ortschaften «unterzeichnet, ein weiteres Projekt mit staatlichen Geldern für örtliche Investitionen, das in Kürze beginnen wird. Das Ziel dieses Projektes, durch das 14 Menschen Arbeit bekommen, ist es, den kulturellen Reiz und die Bedeutung des Tourismus in den Ortschaften der Gemeinde zu stärken, wozu die Verschönerung der Einfahrt von Cotillo gehört, durch eine Umgestaltung an den Rändern der Autostraße, die El Cotillo mit El Roque verbindet sowie die Sanierung von Mauern, Bürgersteigen und Beete von la Caldereta. Diese Arbeiten werden nicht länger als acht Monate dauern.

JORNADA DE SENDERISMO PARA LOS ESCOLARES DE PÁJARA Y TOTO

La Concejalía de Cultura organizó recientemente, una jornada de senderismo para el alumnado del Colegio Público de Pájara.

La excursión tuvo como punto de partida la noria ubicada frente a la plaza de Regla, en Pájara casco; desde donde los niños y niñas, de entre 6 y 14 años de edad, salieron hacia Toto por el barranco hasta llegar a la conocida como Presa de Toto.

Aparte de vivir una caminata con sus compañeros y compañeras, recibir indicaciones sobre la agricultura, la ganadería, flora y fauna del lugar, la iniciativa también contribuyó a conciliar la vida laboral, personal y familiar.

Los asistentes practicaron una hora de senderismo a la ida y otra a la vuelta; aparte de la celebración de numerosos juegos. El alumnado llevó su almuerzo que degustaron en los altos de Toto, magnífico paraje desde donde se contemplan hermosas vistas panorámicas.

The Culture Councillor recently organised a hiking open day for schoolchildren from the Public School of Pájara.

The excursion started from the water well situated in front of Plaza de Regla in Pájara; children aged between 6 and 14 years of age then walked until Toto through the Barranco until they reached the point known as Presa de Toto.

Apart from enjoying a stroll with their school friends, children were given information about agriculture, livestock, flora and fauna of the area, and the initiative also contributed to linking working, personal and family lives.

Participants hiked for one hour each way, not taking into account many games played along the way.

Schoolchildren had brought their lunch, which they enjoyed from the higher parts of Toto, a beautiful stopping place for its pretty panoramic landscape.

FOR THE GREEDIES T GREEDIEST During the day out, technicians from Pájara’s Ayuntamiento’s Culture department taught children how to make «Riscaperros» that are traditional deserts from Toto, made in a pan with caramelised sugar and gofio.

El Ayuntamiento de Pájara ayuda a mejorar las explotaciones ganaderas de la localidad a través de una campaña de apoyo al sector, desarrollada a través de la Gestora Agropecuaria Municipal.

El personal de la Gestora Agropecuaria visitó las distintas explotaciones del municipio, para realizar una serie de informes en los que se recogía las necesidades perentorias de los ganaderos.

Tras este paso, se expuso a los ganaderos que la Gestora Agropecuaria les ayudaría a acondicionar corrales, rehabilitar amurados, instalar verjas y a realizar otros trabajos, tendentes todos ellos a optimizar el rendimiento de las explotaciones.

Los propietarios de las distintas explotaciones serán los encargados de correr con los gastos de los materiales necesarios, mientras que la Gestora Agropecuaria de Pájara aportará el personal y las herramientas necesarias para el acometimiento de las mejoras.

También se plantea colaborar en la modernización de las explotaciones mediante la participación en la instalación de ordeñadoras, recipientes de acero inoxidable y otros instrumentales.

Numerosos ganaderos se han sumado ya a esta propuesta desarrollada a través de la Gestora Agropecuaria de Pájara, y se invita a que se sumen a ella aquellos ganaderos que aun no lo han hecho.

Das Amt für Kultur organisierte kürzlich einen Wandertag für die Schüler und Schülerinnen der öffentlichen Schule von Pájara.

Der Ausgangspunkt des Wandertages war an der Plaza de Regla in der Innenstadt von Pájara. Von dort aus gingen die 6 bis 14 Jahre alten Jungen und Mädchen durch den Barranco in Richtung Toto gingen, bis sie die bekannte Presa de Toto erreichten.

Die Schüler machten nicht nur eine Wanderung mit ihren Mitschülern und Mitschülerinnen, sondern erfuhren viel über die Landwirtschaft, die Viehzucht sowie über die Flora und Fauna des Ortes. Diese

PÁJARA CASCO VIVIÓ SU COSO DEL CARNAVAL DE LAS TRIBUS

Jóvenes y no tan jóvenes se apasionaron en encarnar un personaje por unas horas y salir a la calle de trogloditas, caníbales, indios americanos, bailarinas, exploradores, conguitos, etcétera. Sonaron los Tam, Tam, se encendieron las hogueras... Y Pájara viajó en el tiempo.

Todos los grupos del Carnaval de Pájara participaron en la Gala que acogió la plaza pública de La Lajita.

En este evento, estuvieron presentes las comparsas Tairy Tafay, The Crazy Didels, Guaraná, Batucada y Aguanile.

Otra de las actuaciones más esperadas en esa Gala, fue la de las murgas de la localidad. En la tarde-noche se subieron al escenario de la plaza pública de La Lajita, Las Ignorantes, Las Salamandras, Las Caquis y Los Peta Zetas.

Después de las danzas de las comparsas y el color, humor y críticas canciones de las murgas del municipio, La Lajita acogió una gran verbena de disfraces, amenizada en este caso por las formaciones musicales Furia Joven y Guajavi.

RESCATE DE LOS SEIS TRIPULANTES DE UN VELERO ENCALLADO EN JANDÍA

This event was animated by street dancers of Tairy Tafay, The Crazy Didels, Guaraná, Batucada and Aguanile.

Another event that people looked forward to during this Gala, was the local street bands. From the beginning of the evening they played on the stages of public squares in La Lajita, Las Ignorantes, Las Salamandras, Las Caquis and Los Peta Zetas.

After the dances and the colours, humour and satirical songs from the street bands of the Municipality, La Lajita welcomed a large disguises festival animated by Furia Joven and Guajavi.

Nach den Tänzen der Komparsen, vielen Farben, Humor und kritischen Liedern der Karnevalsgruppen der Gemeinde, fand in La Lajita ein großes Kostümfest statt. Das Ganze wurde von Furia Joven und Guajavi musikalisch untermalt.

Die Innenstadt von Pájara erlebte ihren Karnevalsumzug 2009, der von der Allegorie der Stämme inspiriert wurde. Die Gesellschaft begann den traditionellen Umzug mit Wagen in der Calle Malpey, um später durch verschiedene Straßen des Ortes zu ziehen bis sie zur Plaza de la Constitución kamen, wo nachts ein Volksfest mit kostümierten Menschen statt fand, das von der Gruppe Bomba und dem Orchester Guajavi musikalisch untermalt wurde.

El Servicio de Salvamento de Pájara rescató, el pasado mes de marzo, a los seis tripulantes de un velero que encalló en la playa del Barranco de Gran Valle, en la zona de la Península de Jandía.

Según fuentes de la Policía Local, el 112 recibió un comunicado de alerta en el que se les participaba la situación de emergencia de un velero de 12 metros de eslora, que había encallado a un kilómetro al sur del Muelle de Morro Jable.

RETTUNG DER SECHSKÖPFIGEN BESATZUNG EINES SEEGELSCHIFFES, DAS IN JANDÍA GESTRANDET WAR Der Rettungsdienst von Pájara rettete im März die sechsköpfige Besatzung eines Segelschiffes, das am Strand des Barranco de Gran Valle, in der Gegend der Halbinsel von Jandía gestrandet war.

Nach Angaben der örtlichen Polizei, erhielt die 112 einen Notruf, in dem sie über die Situation des Segelbootes mit 12 Metern Kiellänge informiert wurde, das einen Kilometer südlich vom Hafen von Morro Jable gestrandet war.

Es wurde sofort eine Rettungsaktion mit Schiffen des Rettungsdienstes von Pájara organisiert, der der Gemeinde und dem Seefahrtsamt von Morro Jable SL untersteht. An der Aktion war auch ein Helimer Canarias-Helikopter des Seerettungsdienstes beteiligt, der zur Sicherheit über das Gebiet flog.

The Ayuntamiento’s Culture Council took schoolchildren from Morro Jable in March to the Interpretation Centre of La Cueva del Llano, situated in the north of La Oliva’s municipality.

This guided visit was aimed at making children aged between 9 and 14 years of age discover this centre where they were given information about vulcanism and geology.

The group of schoolchildren consisted of about thirty boys and girls from Morro Jable; they had the opportunity to observe a unique species worldwide as Cueva del Llano is the habitat of a blind spider that can only be found in this site.

Durch diese Führung lernten Jungen und Mädchen zwischen neun und vierzehn dieses Zentrum kennen, wo sie einiges über Vulkanismus und Geologie erfuhren.

Die Gruppe, die aus dreißig Schülerinnen und Schülern aus Morro Jable bestand, konnte eine auf der Welt einzigartige Art beobachten, denn die Grotte Cueva del Llano ist der Lebensraum einer blinden Spinne, die es nur an diesem Ort gibt.

NUEVO ALUMBRADO PARA EL MATORRAL

La Concejalía de Cultura del Ayuntamiento llevó el pasado mes de marzo, a escolares de Morro Jable, al Centro de Interpretación de La Cueva del Llano, ubicada en el municipio norteño de La Oliva.

Esta visita guiada vino a dar a conocer a niños y niñas, de entre nueve y catorce años de edad, este centro, en el que recibieron formación sobre vulcanismo y geología.

Ya hay muchos centros que han adoptado la unión de varias disciplinas, como cardioboxing; steps y abdominales; cardio Pilates o pole-lates, que se realizan conjuntamente con el Pilates en una piscina. El relax es fundamental y, tras habernos hecho unos largos en la piscina, el propio centro permite desconectar, gracias a masajes de todo tipo, clases de yoga y tai chí, donde es básico la combinación de posturas, la respiración y relajación consciente. Éste tipo de actividades son las más demandadas por los usuarios, en los últimos años.

SPAS URBANOS, SUMA Y SIGUE Todo lo relacionado con la hidroterapia y lo termal también tiene cabida en los gimnasios. Y es que España se ha convertido en el sexto país del mundo donde más se demandan este tipo de servicios Los datos de la Asociación Española de Balnearios Urbanos y Spas no dejan lugar a dudas: se trata de un sector en plena transformación. Hace nueve años sólo existían en nuestro país balnearios de aguas de manantial y algún centro de talasoterapia. Estos establecimientos contaban con medio millón de usuarios habituales, en su inmensa mayoría mujeres con más de 60 años, que acudían a ellos para tratar algún tipo de dolencia. Pero, en la actualidad este panorama ha cambiado radicalmente. El año pasado la cifra de usuarios habituales se había elevado hasta los 6 millones, y 6 de cada 10 tenían entre 35 y 55 años.

Las principales novedades del sector se centran en el ámbito de la belleza. Getting in shape: one day at the gym FMHOY - Marta Burgués A healthy mind in a healthy body. This well known expression is in fashion at the moment. People have become aware that as well as getting our bodies in shape, to practise a sport is also good for the whole organism. Nowadays, gymnasiums have become complete centres where services are the most important.

Relaxation, activities and sport are united in order to achieve a level of well-being that everyone longs for.

BENEFITS FOR THE ORGANISM With as little as half an hour per day practising a sport, whether it is swimming, running, dancing or yoga, it is sufficient to stay healthy. Because of our sedentary lives, it is vital for us to have an activity and the best way to do it is with one of the multiple activities on offer in gymnasiums.

From a physical point of view, it helps reduce the risk of disease, especially cardiovascular ones. In addition to reducing the level of fat accumulated in some par ts of our bodies, practising a sport strengthens bones, muscles, lungs and the heart, and increases stamina, flexibility, balance and coordination… Psychologically it also gives a break to our mind. It reduces stress and anxiety and gives a boost to our self-esteem, to name a few of those advantages. Therefore, sport is a potential weapon against the frenetic rhythm of a society that is constantly developing.

LATEST TRENDS Sports centres are adding new services in order to keep their users. During the Fitness fair we noticed

that there are two clear tendencies in the evolution of the gymnasium’s universe: fitness and wellness. Personal trainers are situated within those two concepts.

Those professionals are highly trained and can adapt their courses to the demand and abilities of each client because each person is different and needs a different treatment. Many centres have mixed various activities such as cardio-boxing; steps and abdominals; cardio Pilates or pole-lates, that are practised jointly with Pilates in a swimming pool. And of course all that is related to rhythm and dance: Afro-Brazilian dances, aqua-dance, in swimming pools, etc.

Fitness also suggests the use of machines to increase efficiency such as tensors for a strength exercise against a wall for example, or of purer style such as «Spiderman»; the kettleball, a heavy ball with a handle that help strengthen arms and back; the Bosu, a kind of platform with a large sphere that helps to work on our balance and strength, or power yoga that uses large belts hanging from the ceiling that help maintain balance and «fly» during the relaxation phase or to achieve some postures.

A MULTITUDE OF ACTIVITIES: DANCE AND RELAX We can find everything in gymnasiums: from the traditional aerobics and step classes to complete massages for relaxation. Dancing has also made an entrance in those centres with classes such as Funky Liric, Street Dance, Sexy Funky, modern dance, Acrobatic Experience until bollywood and belly-dancing.

offering for years to tone up some parts of our bodies.

There are various classes of Pilates: for women, for pregnant women, floor Pilates, with machines, etc.

Relaxation is fundamental, and after a few lengths in the pool, the centre gives us the opportunity to disconnect thanks to all kinds of massages, yoga or tai chi classes, where the combination of postures, breathing and conscious relaxation are basic. Those activities are more and more in demand from users.

URBAN SPAS: DIVE AND GO Everything related to hydrotherapy and thermal also has its place in gymnasiums. Spain has now become the sixth country worldwide regarding the demand for this type of service.

Data from the Spanish Association of Urban Spas is very clear: this is a sector that is undergoing a great transformation. Nine years ago in Spain there were only spring water spas and a few talasotherapy centres.

Those establishments had about half a million regular users, mostly women over 60 years of age, who used to go there to treat some kind of ailment. But nowadays, this panorama has changed completely. Last year the number of regular users had reached 6 millions of which 6 out of 10 people were aged between 35 and 55.

The main novelties in this sector are concentrated in the beauty area. As well as thermal circuits (with spa baths, cold and warm water pools, saunas), treatments are also very popular such as wino-therapy, chocolate-therapy, with gold, caviar, green tea, stones and other oriental massages.

Dieser altbekannte Satz ist in aller Munde und in der heutigen Zeit noch öfter als früher. Die Nutzer sind sich bewusst, dass durch den Sport nicht nur unser Körper gestärkt wird, sondern dass dieser auch viele Vorteile für die Gesundheit unseres Organismus hat. Heute sind aus den Fitnessstudios vollständige Zentren geworden, in denen der Service das wichtigste ist. Entspannung, Aktivitäten und Sport werden vereint, um das Wohlbefinden zu erreichen, das jeder von uns braucht.

VORTEILE FÜR DEN ORGANISMUS Es ist ausreichend, eine halbe Stunde am Tag Sport zu treiben, egal ob Schwimmen, Joggen, Tanzen oder Joga, um immer einen gesunden Körper zu haben. Diese Fachleute verfügen über eine solide Ausbildung, die es ihnen ermöglicht ihren Unterricht an die Bedürfnisse und Möglichkeiten von jedem Kunden anzupassen, da jeder Mensch anders ist und deshalb anders behandelt werden muss. In vielen Zentren wird

FAMILIA: PAPAVERACEAE ALGO DE LA HISTORIA DE LA PLANTA «La amapola común es una planta muy conocida que se cría entre las mieses de nuestros campos; se distingue por el color rojo llamativo de su flor. Sus pétalos en forma de tisana con agua hirviendo y miel, sirven para calmar la tos y vencer el insomnio. En Lagunetas, Gran Canaria se hace un jarabe con vino, azúcar y pétalos de amapola; esta mezcla es un bálsamo para aliviar las enfermedades pectorales». (Jaén Otero, José. 1984).

«Las flores de la amapola son anodinas, sudoríficas, pectorales y dulcificantes; tomadas a manera de té, o en jarabe o en conserva o en tisana o en espíritu de vino, contienen el flujo menstrual inmoderado. La amapola borracha es una de las plantas más conocidas de todo el mundo, especialmente por ser la productora del opio: látex blanquecino y pegajoso que se extrae de sus frutos y que ha constituido la droga más importante de las culturas del lejano Oriente. El opio contiene numerosos alcaloides, entre ellos la morfina, cuya aplicación médica se ha manifestado especialmente importante en el tratamiento del dolor, debido a sus potentes efectos analgésicos». DESCRIPCIÓN Papaver rhoeas La amapola común es una planta herbácea de tallos largos y finos, velludos de hasta poco más de medio metro; hojas también velludas, lanceoladas, divididas y dentadas en los bordes. Flor de un rojo intenso, escarlata a carmesí, a veces también violáceas o blancas, con cuatro grandes pétalos que se tornan negros hacia el centro. El fruto es una pequeña cápsula ovalada cubierta en su parte superior por un disco radiado, en su interior contiene gran cantidad de semillas diminutas.

Papaver somniferum La amapola borracha se asemeja mucho a la común, la podemos diferenciar porque sus tallos pueden alcanzar mayor altura, hasta un metro y medio; hojas alternas, muy dentadas, crecen alrededor del tallo en su base. Las flores poseen también cuatro pétalos, de un diámetro mayor y de color rojo, violáceo o blanquecino e igualmente se tornan negros hacia el centro de la flor. Poseen asimismo la cápsula ovoide con las simientes en su interior.

Opium Poppy COMMON NAMES: Red Poppy FAMILY: PAPAVERACEAE HISTORY OF THE PLANT «The common poppy is a well known plant that grows in fields; it is very noticeable thanks to its red coloured flower. BESCHREIBUNG Papaver rhoeas Der gewöhnliche Mohn ist eine Pflanze mit einem hohen, dünnen, behaarten Halm, der etwas höher als einen halben Meter werden kann. Die Blätter sind auch behaart, lanzenförmig, geteilt und haben kleine Zähnchen an den Seiten. Die Blüten sind knallrot, scharlachrot und karminrot, manchmal auch violett oder weiß. Sie habe vier große Blütenblätter, die im Innern schwarz werden. Die Frucht ist eine kleine eiförmige Kapsel, deren oberer Teil von einem strahlenförmigen Deckel abgedeckt wird und die im Innern viele kleine Samen enthält.
