Two sports campuses, a football tournament and two cycling races to promote sports on the island

The deputy president and Sports Councillor of Fuerteventura’s Cabildo, Juan Nicolás Cabrera, together with the Sports councillor of Tuineje’s Ayuntamiento, Christian Cabrera, participated, in January, in the presentation of the events and sports campus scheduled by the Caima Sports Club, in collaboration with the Breñameen Sports Club and the Playitas Resort touristic complex, where the presentation was taking place. The initiative includes two cycling races, of 45 and 64 kilometres respectively, a football tournament for

11 and 12-year-old players, and two sports campuses that will take place between 26th June and 2nd July in the Playitas Resort facilities.
The I Campus Élite 2023 is endorsed by the Canarian Handball Federation and will be animated by top-level coaches and is aimed at players aged between 15 and 18 years old. On the other hand, Fuerteventura’s Football Campus
(campusfutbolftv.com) is aimed at children aged between 8 and 16 years old and will concentrate on the island’s football base, with specific training sessions, training for goalkeepers and will include the visit from some of the island’s football players and ex-players.
