The Mayor’s Charity Gala
If you’ve been near Greville Street lately, you may have noticed a giant spring mural where a plain wall used to be. Created by Melbourne-based artist and illustrator, Carla McRae, the mural features a mix of abstract foliage and flowers in a pastel palette. You might recognise some of Carla’s previous works, having already created a mural for Bared Footwear in Armadale, as well as hosting a number of solo exhibitions. Passersby are encouraged to connect with her latest work by visiting the wall and taking selfies before it disappears altogether. It will be on show throughout September, so make sure you check it out, just off Chapel Street. Where Greville Street, opposite Prahran Town Hall When From 1 September thepaperbeast.com.au

To get the party started, the black-tie event boasts a lineup including Tina Arena and Cameron Daddo, with fine dining supplied by Peter Rowland Catering. Tickets are available now from $300, which includes a three-course meal, drinks and a whole lot of good karma for supporting such a great cause. While her name may not be as ubiquitous as the retailer she’s responsible for, Australian women and men are indebted to Jo Horgan. Twenty years ago, she opened a small boutique in South Yarra that changed the way we buy cosmetics. She called it MECCA, an undeniable foreshadowing of what was to come.
South Magazine
“It started with one little store on Toorak Road in South Yarra. It opened on 16 December in 1997, from a kernel of an idea that was incubated on the living room floor of my terrace. “I thought that if we could get to 10 stores we would be a knockout success.” This year, Horgan celebrates 20 years of MECCA, with no indication she’ll be tapping the brakes any time soon. Instead, the
cosmetics retailer continues to expand its range, with over 120 brands, alongside three in-house lines. Add to that customer loyalty like no other in the market and it’s no surprise that this year, Horgan will be inducted into Stonnington’s Fashion Hall of Fame. But it’s been a long journey. Horgan started way back when the global beauty market was just budding and there was limited access for Australians to shop international brands. It’s a familiar narrative here in Australia, and one that Horgan acted on quickly. “There was a groundswell of really interesting players coming into the international beauty
market, that I wanted Australian women to experience. I’m talking NARS, Urban Decay, Philosophy, Stila, etc… We had no exposure to these boutique brands.” But this was only one part of the formula. Looking to her makeup bag, Horgan also noticed that her own menagerie of brands didn’t align with how cosmetics were being sold at the time. “Before MECCA, there were no multi-brand experiences in the beauty space and hence, no brand-agnostic advice.” Here was a gap in the market, for unbiased beauty advice.

“After extensive ‘dinner party’ research, it felt like Australian women were ready for this holistic, service-driven, luxury boutique beauty experience.” Ready is an understatement. Her first boutique was a roaring success, paving the way for 82 more to open up nationally. The original store is still active today but surprisingly, the now-iconic location wasn’t Horgan’s first choice. “I was really hoping to be on Chapel Street which was the real high street fashion epicentre. As it turned out, Toorak Road was really fabulous, there was great foot traffic.” Horgan now calls South Yarra home, with a daily routine that is akin to that of many locals. She kicks off with a walk around The Tan, with regular visits to her local haunts.
The day usually ends with a trip to Gum Tree Good Food or dinner at local favourite, Da Noi. In between, she navigates a very busy schedule. But it’s one that she is happy to juggle. “The diary is very full, but I wouldn’t change it for the world. I have found a calling that I love and truly believe in. I am surrounded by the most talented, creative, committed team and
It seems that Horgan puts her money where her mouth is. This year, the retailer introduced another cosmetics line, MECCA MAX, and is set to open its biggest store to date on Brisbane’s Queen Street Mall. Add to that her induction into Stonnington’s Fashion Hall of Fame, and it looks like everything’s coming up Jo. But her proudest achievement to date is something decidedly more humble: “That we deliver a service and experience that is second to none and that our
customers value. And that we have built a nurturing, supportive culture around the business.” As for what’s next for this unstoppable force? “Well, seeing as this is our 20th anniversary year, I am hoping that 40 is the new 20 and we will be celebrating in two decades, all over again.”

Is this TNT’s first step into the global market? This is. TNT in Canada is really an alternative to a department store. Their spaces are quite large, much larger than the space that we have available in Australia, but it’s always in keeping with that boutique feeling.
with Vanessa Spencer
South Magazine
Armadale has just elevated its fashion offering, welcoming a luxe new retailer to its ranks. The New Trend has over 25 years’ experience delivering high-end, international designers in a boutique setting. It’s right on the money for High Street’s clientele and there’s a lot to be excited about. Visitors can expect a superior edit of international designers including Chloé, Proenza Schouler, 3.1 Phillip Lim, Preen by Thornton Bregazzi and more. And that’s just step one. There are also plans to expand TNT nationally. We caught up with head buyer Vanessa Spencer, to find out more about what we can expect from this exciting new retailer.
Hi Vanessa! Thanks for chatting with us. How did you get started with TNT? I’ve been working in fashion for pretty much my whole life, but I was most recently living in New York for four years. I was working for a multi-brand retailer over there called Intermix, which has the best international designers over 43 stores. Then I moved back to Australia, just over a year ago, and met with TNT. They were excited to expand and it was right timing and the right place. The beauty about Australia is there is such a gap in the marketplace here for international brands. We have such a strong online shopping presence here, but we don’t have a lot of brick-and-mortar retailers who are actually showing the product.
I know a big question when any international retailer comes to Australia is whether the seasons will align… I don’t believe in holding back stock by any means. I travel four times a year and I’m seeing the US and European markets, so I’m buying the seasons as they come. It’s always going to be a little challenging with the Australian climate, but we’ve got a good range of brands to solve that problem. So what are you looking for when buying? I’m looking for international brands that are highly sought-after, that don’t have a huge footprint in Australia. We’ve got a good mix of tried and true brands, and those newer brands that might not be as familiar, but are really having a moment. Anything else you'd like customers to know? I think what’s most important for us is to have impeccable service and really create a personal experience for our customer. We’re really excited for her to meet with us and get to know us, and build up that rapport.
Interview
Born to Lead When I speak to girls in high schools, I really stress the message that you can do whatever you want to do, and you just need to believe in yourself. It’s a bit of a tacky thing to say, but I almost didn’t take up this role because I didn’t think that I was capable. I didn’t have the confidence. Looking back, what a disaster that would have been for me. Your twenties are often considered your party years. How have you found being in the public eye? I do need to remind myself that I am only 24. And while I have such a serious role – and I do want to be a lawyer, so I am very serious in my future career – work-life balance is so crucial. I still enjoy a wine on a Friday night or going to a bar on Chapel Street over the weekend. I certainly haven’t slowed down on that side of things because I don’t want to lose that part of myself.
Especially given Jami Klisaris presents like any normal 24-year-old. She’s bubbly, with an inimitable warmth and enthusiasm. But spend a little time with her and you’ll fast realise she’s also highly articulate, savvy and quick-witted. It’s these qualities that led to her election as Mayor of Stonnington in November last year. She’s now the youngest ever Mayor to lead her local council. We caught up with Jami to chat public perceptions, personal growth and the importance of a Friday night wine. First up, your age is a big talking point. What have reactions been? I braced myself, understandably, that people would think ‘oh, she’s a little inexperienced.’ But people were just really excited. I think a lot of people recognised that I did have four year’s of councillor experience already at that point. So it was just really happy and positive.
I’m still just as eager to get things done and serving as Mayor has been a great opportunity for me to meet and work with people right across Stonnington. I really look forward to what this council is going to achieve, we’ve already announced some exciting projects like Cato Square – and we’re just getting started. What’s been your biggest takeout from the role so far? It’s really shaped the person I’m going to form into – someone who is very dedicated to whatever it is they do, someone who is not afraid to go against the grain, and who just has the confidence to do it. Unsurprisingly, you’ve been consistently called a ‘role model’ and ‘inspiring’. Do you believe that about yourself? I think I am a role model, which is something I have wanted to be, particularly to young women and girls.
↓
We know that Cameron Daddo and Tina Arena are on the bill. Any other surprises? I think what people won't be expecting is just how over-the-top beautiful it’s going to be. The level of detail is going to be amazing. I really want to give people a truly special experience and I want them to come away and feel really good about what they have donated to Very Special Kids.
The Mayor’s Charity Gala will be held at Malvern Town Hall on 12 October. Tickets are now available via the City of Stonnington website. stonnington.vic.gov.au/mayorsgala
South Magazine
As a young Councillor, you are obviously going to be inspired to initiate change. Has that altered entering your second term? Being a second term Councillor is definitely a different experience. I learnt a lot during
my first term and was proud of what we achieved, and I’m equally excited about working with new and returning Councillors during this term.
The Mayor’s Charity Gala is coming up very soon, raising money for Very Special Kids. What does this charity mean to you? I didn’t have to pick a Stonnington-based organisation, but the work they do is second to none. They’ve got hundreds of volunteers, which just goes to show what amazing people they are to work with.

If you were surprised to learn the Mayor of Stonnington is in her early twenties, we don’t blame you. Most are.

What’s your collection name? The Snazzy Snooze. Tell us a little about it. This collection focuses on the zany and childish individual. We’re uninhibited as we become sleepy, and control ceases as we sleep. We end up slipping into an unconscious dimension, full of the playfully abstract. Our dreams are also filled with unusual characters. What do you want to achieve with your collection? I want to showcase myself as a madly passionate illustrator venturing into fashion to further expand on creativity. I want to turn my quirky visuals into what is functional and decorative on the body. Fashion exploration
is a freedom of expression just as drawing is. They’re both a means of storytelling. How does your collection relate to this year’s theme? It translates the element of my personality that I have not always been the most confident to share. I am certainly childish at heart and immensely playful and theatrical when most comfortable socially. There's no doubt the sleepwear pieces are a reflection of this. They ooze youthfulness and a certain immaturity that I hope will appeal to people of all ages. What was the first thing you ever made? In terms of fashion, I sewed a high-waisted red pencil skirt. It was part of a short course I did. I was like a snail trying to comprehend the pattern and getting used to the sewing machine. I was paranoid the needle would snap and go flying into my eye.
What music do you play while designing? I love listening to RnB! Then I take a 180-degree turn and listen to piano instrumental music and jazz. What do you want to do when you finish studying? I want to further develop this sleepwear brand and expand on my aesthetic. I also hope to finish the picture book I’m working on. I’ve always dreamt of having a picture book out there. If you could make an outfit for any person, who would it be? No doubt it would have to be for Beyoncé.

What’s your collection name? Festival Fantasies. Tell us a little about it. Z&M: Our collection is fun, bright, creative and uses many types of materials, to suit all body types. Think colour, glitter and sparkles!
Who’s your favourite designer? Z: Laura Blythman, her use of colour is incredible and we were so lucky to get our hands on her textile collaboration with Spotlight this year. To be able to create a top with her fabric was awesome. M: Valentino for sure! So many luxurious fabrics and red, honestly, I just love the colour. What music do you play while designing? Z: San Cisco is one of our favourite bands at the moment, so much so, we chose to walk down the runway to it. M: And also the Ramones. What do you want to do when you finish study? Z: I currently run my own business, ZRA Designs, and I’d love to be able to do that full-time after study, or alternatively, work in a small graphic design studio. M: I’m still not 100 per cent sure, but true to the classic millennial in me, I want to travel. instagram.com/zra.designs facebook.com/zradesigns
Courtney Zoh Age: 24
What’s your collection name? The collection is called Jhilke, which is a Nepali word meaning shiny, bling, bright, etc. Tell us a little about it. This collection draws inspiration from my travels to Nepal, India and Malaysia. The architecture I discovered, particularly Islamic architecture, fuels me with inspiration. You'll find that every part has so much detail and nothing is left just bare – which is similar to my approach when it comes to designing.
How does your collection relate to this year’s theme? Z&M: Through the nature of the clothes and the way they are made. Many pieces are adjustable, and can be stretched or tied certain ways to suit different figures. We have also put a huge emphasis on the clothes being comfortable.
What do you want to achieve with your collection? I really want to achieve more readily available modest fashion in Melbourne and Australia (hopefully globally one day too). Trying to shop for stylish yet modest fashion in Australia is a nightmare and I’d love to be able to create clothing for women that they feel comfortable and confident in.
What was the first thing you ever made? It was a scarf I made at my aunt’s house when I was young. I didn’t know how to sew so I just glued bits together and called it a finished garment. Who’s your favourite designer? My favourites would include Elie Saab, Valentino and Ashi Studio. What music do you play while designing? Anything hip hop, soul, funk or RnB. My favourites are D’Angelo, Erykah Badu, Wu-Tang Clan, Kendrick Lamar and J. Cole. I have also been really feeling Afrobeats and African music lately too – just anything with a good beat, really.
↓
What do you want to do when you finish study? I finished my studies in 2015 and am now working full-time and designing on the side, but I would love to turn designing into my career. If you could make an outfit for any person, who would it be? Erykah Badu. She’s an absolute queen and is my muse.

What do you want to achieve with your collection? Z&M: We would love for people to feel as though they can express themselves creatively. We’re encouraging the hair and makeup artists to ‘go wild’ and be as creative as they want. We also want people (especially the models) to feel comfortable in our clothing.
How does your collection relate to this year’s theme? The designs in my collection allow women to reveal their personality through their clothes and they can do this without necessarily revealing their body or skin. It’s quite common (especially in the media) to see Muslim women and women who dress modestly, targeted and labelled as being ‘oppressed’ or ‘self conscious’ purely because of the way they choose to dress. It’s simply not the case and far from the truth. You can love yourself without having to reveal your skin.

Zoe Alexiades and Matilda McCoy Ages: 20 and 19
What was the first thing you ever made? Z: I think it might’ve been a felt pouch to put my coins in. M: A bag with my grandma when I was really little.
Interview
Who’s your favourite designer? I don’t necessarily have a favourite, as I don’t like to be strictly influenced by a particular style. The way I have captured my aesthetic is through a vast array of sources. But if I would have to pick one, I would say Gorman. It’s such an exuberant fashion brand with beautifully artistic textile prints.

Prep time 40 minutes Jaffle maker 8 slices white sandwich loaf ½ brown onion 1 clove 600ml full cream milk 25g softened unsalted butter (plus extra for spreading on bread) 25g plain flour 150g grated gruyère 150g grated young fontina 2 tbsp finely chopped fresh chives 1 tbsp white wine vinegar Salt flakes White pepper Freshly grated nutmeg 250g small elbow macaroni 180g grated comté
METHOD
1. Place the onion, clove and milk in a saucepan over medium heat and bring to the boil. Remove from the heat and leave to infuse for 30 minutes. Bring back to the boil and strain into a jug.
2.
Melt the butter in a heavy-based saucepan over a medium to low heat. Add the flour and cook, stirring for 3 minutes. Slowly add the strained milk in four stages, whisking the mixture to a smooth paste after every addition. Reduce the heat to low and cook for 10 minutes, stirring constantly to stop the mixture from sticking to the pan. Remove the pan from the heat, add the gruyère and fontina and stir well. Mix in the chives, vinegar and season with salt, pepper and nutmeg. Set aside in a warm place.
3. Bring a medium saucepan of salted water to the boil and cook the macaroni until al dente, then drain.
4. Add the cooked macaroni to the cheese sauce and stir it in well. Leave the mixture to cool. If it gets too thick, you can add a splash of warm milk, but remember it will loosen once reheated.
5. Preheat a jaffle maker. Butter one side of each slice of bread. Place slices of bread, buttered side down, in the jaffle maker and spoon 2 to 3 heaped tablespoons of macaroni cheese in the centre of the slices. Top each with a quarter of the grated comté. Close the sandwiches with the remaining slices of bread, buttered side up. Cook until golden brown and sealed.

With a name like this, you’d suspect the House of Lulu White is one of disrepute. And you’d be right. Originally a brothel, the South Yarra site now specialises in debaucherous activities of a different kind. For starters, bottomless brunch. Over 90 minutes, Lulu White will treat you to as many cocktails as you can finish, including espresso martinis on tap. The food is equally naughty. Breakfast ramen is served with crisp pork belly, while waffles come topped with buttermilk fried chicken. Even the marmalade has been corrupted, infused with Four Pillars gin. Of course, there’s also a menu for the healthconscious. But that’s not what you’ll come for.
Celebrations are in order, because Mr Mister in Windsor now has a sister venue, literally. Mr Sister is the second venture from Tyson Chambers, and it’s a welcome addition to Malvern East. While Mr Mister is all-white walls, its younger sibling brings bright blues and pinks to exposed brick. On the menu, expect to find a healthy dose of sibling rivalry with Asian influences like Bánh mì and peanut-crusted burgers, alongside Mr Mister staples. Word on the street is there’s a third venue on its way, Little Mister, so keep your eyes peeled for that too.
Salad Sisters is Malvern’s freshest arrival, in more ways than one. The bright new eatery opened its doors in August, with a menu that celebrates fresh produce. The cafe’s signature is its Sister Bowls, a colourful union of ultra healthy ingredients that will have you gloating to your friends. There’s also a real emphasis on Middle Eastern flavours. Expect additions like shakshuka and Israeli-spiced lamb, alongside the usual brunch suspects, with a Salad Sisters spin. Take the smashed avocado, joined by crispy kale, pickled daikon and crunchy edamame. If you’re a local, this is one to keep under wraps.

The team behind The Boy Who Cried Wolf have spread their wings to Prahran. This time they’ve kept the formula simple, focusing on quality beverages with a few sweet treats. Coffee comes courtesy of Code Black, with a 3056 blend, single origin and two filter options on offer. For those who prefer their latte with a little less caffeine, the team will serve up Konomi matcha lattes and Golden Grind turmeric blends. Specialty teas, kombucha, green smoothies and cold-pressed OJ are also up for grabs, alongside treats from Nine, Butterbing, Mill & Bakery and Oregano. They've just started serving toasties too.
Finally, someone is taking tea as seriously as we take coffee. Tea Connoisseur is a speciality cafe, online store and roving market stall. With 95 different teas on hand in its High Street cafe, it’s bringing a whole new drinking dynamic to Armadale. While it does serve coffee, you might like to try the range of matcha, turmeric and chai tea lattes instead. On the loose leaf tea front, all flavours are tried and tested, with only the best making the cut. Think aged white peony, coconut milky oolong and after-dinner mint.
Adding to an already competitive lineup of South Yarra bakeries, Ned’s Bake has no trouble holding its own. Walk in and you’ll be met with an excess of perfectly flaky pastries, gourmet tarts, cakes, baguettes, Italian-style loaves and the best almond croissant you’ll ever eat (guaranteed). However, if you can make it past the temptation of the front cabinet, the dine-in menu doesn’t disappoint. Expect mascarpone pancakes topped with strawberries and balsamic vinegar, perfectly crusty pizzas and Ned’s spin on bruschetta – a blessed union of smoked cheddar and pear. Riserva
↓
The local wine bar has taken a step up thanks to Riserva. Bringing together a dynamic selection of European winemakers, Malvern East’s new addition opened in March, to sate a growing thirst for international wines. Bottles are sourced from small producers to the continent’s most revered, available to drink-in or take away. Though we recommend you stay. Riserva’s menu is simple and forever changing, with a focus on dishes to nibble, share and warm the soul. An extensive selection of charcuterie and European cheeses is enough to leave your mouth watering. For those a little more peckish, expect crowd-pleasers alongside more adventurous small plates and mains. 395 Wattletree Road, Malvern East riservawine.com.au

Mama's Buoi The family behind Rolld have banded together for a restaurant project that delivers the best of Vietnamese home-style cooking. Mama’s cooking, to be exact. Mama's Buoi offers an authentic menu inspired by the childhood meals of founder, Bao Hoang. There’s an emphasis on fresh food and flavour, but also on traditional Vietnamese hospitality, with plates designed to be shared between good company. Thanks to the recent appointment of Jonathan Alston as food director (Stokehouse, The Lucas Group), you can expect a modern twist on Mama’s traditional meals. We recommend opting for the Feed Me Banquet. You won’t be leaving the table hungry. Dining Terrace, Chadstone Shopping Centre mamasbuoi.com.au

Bosozoku Taking notes from the Japanese bikie gangs it’s named after, Bosozoku is making a lot of noise. Expect secret sake warming stations, karaoke and Mario Kart rooms, fire pits and a dry ice onsen. There’s a lot to distract punters and yet, the food shines. A burger-focused menu designed by Tomoya Kawasaki (ex-Wabi Sabi) features mouth-watering additions like the ‘Die by the Sword’ swordfish burger and ‘Road Rage’ sliced wagyu burger. Add chicken karaage, gyoza or katsu curry fries for Bosozoku’s take on a bento box. The rebellious streak extends to the drinks list too, with cocktails given an inspired Japanese twist. 34A Bray Street, South Yarra bosozokuhq.com
Fortify 15
Good food knows no bounds at Fortify. The late-night bar and restaurant plates up French cuisine, but with a little more bite than typical Melbourne offerings. Take the charcuterie, for example. Considered one of Melbourne’s best, it features a selection of cheeses smuggled in a suitcase from Lyon. It’s also worth stepping in for the mac and cheese arancini, served with house-smoked bacon, 14-month English cheddar, panko breadcrumbs and a drizzle of white truffle oil from Alba in west Italy. Like the food, the vibe here is relaxed, luxe and with a hint of rebellion. Fortify is open nightly until 1am, just like the Europeans do.

Japanese food and pizza don’t traditionally go hand-in-hand, but that hasn’t stopped Sash. And why should it, when the menu has been designed by Ichi Ni alum Ken Tut. Windsor’s new arrival delivers a truly fusion offering, with a focus on Japanese pizzas among other curve balls. Combinations like sashimi tuna, mango, strawberry, wasabi mayonnaise and ginger on a traditional pizza base are met with equally intriguing sushi burritos, sliders and green tea arancini balls. Those ready to dive in should opt for the eclectic ‘Give it to me’ menu, adding a cocktail or sake for good measure.

Skin We moisturised Talia’s skin with MECCA MAX Bounce-ify Beauty Balm. CHANTECAILLE Future Skin in Wheat was then applied very sparingly, and only to the areas of the face that needed evening out.
Eyes For a glossy eye, we improvised and used richly pigmented lip pencils (NARS Velvet Lip Liner in Playa Dorado and Costa Smeralda), blending into the top and bottom lids. CHANTECAILLE Brilliant Gloss in Lucky was dabbed over the top for sheen.

Cult Traders

1238 High Street, Armadale
After earning the affections of Albert Park residents, StellaJane Interiors is now tackling South Yarra. And it’s looking to be a perfect fit. With a signature style that blends glamour and bohemia, co-owners Jane and Jane have already started winning hearts. Their new gallery space hosts a tightly curated selection of furniture, decor, art and jewellery, with a focus on statement and one-off pieces. It’s in line with their ethos of ‘enjoy, it’s a wonderful life’. Pieces are designed in-house or sourced from around the world for their beauty, quality and design. The team also offers an in-home styling service, for those dreaming of a not-so-humble abode.
You might remember Cult Traders from Malvern East, but now it’s calling Armadale home. A showroom recently opened on High Street earlier this year, stocking goods from Ruby Star Traders, Bisque Interiors, Greg Natale, Chloe Planinsek and more. Unlike most agency showrooms, Cult Traders is open to the public, meaning customers have the chance to buy direct from top-end home designers. It carries a range of bespoke furniture and homewares, and even offers an interior decorating and styling service. On the showroom floor, you’ll find collections spanning leather sofas, woven light pendants, Moroccan rugs, carved wooden bedheads and more.

Coco & Lola specialises in eveningwear from a handpicked range of Australian and international names. The store has humble beginnings in Western Australia, and has just recently opened its first store in Victoria on Malvern Road. The designer line-up includes labels like Alice McCall, Asilio, Camilla and Marc and Thurley. Plus, owner Jess works closely with labels to create designs exclusive to the boutique. There’s even a dedicated Coco & Lola bridesmaid boutique in Western Australia, so you know you’re in good hands here.

Mix and match is Duzenman’s philosophy. The leather accessories label recently opened its first atelier in Armadale, quickly earning a reputation thanks to its unique approach to design. Rather than simply buying a bag off the shelf, Duzenman expects you to construct your own. Select from a range of designs, leathers and hardware, then add as many extra elements as you’d like. All leather bags, pouches and small accessories are meticulously handmade, with designs constructed on-site. But the mix and match philosophy doesn’t end there. The Duzenman store itself is also entirely customisable, with shelves able to be pegged and moved on a whim.

It seems 2017 has been the year of Kapten & Son. After its successful launch into the Australian market, the European label has opened its first global concept store on Chapel Street. And it’s a cut above. Bringing a sense of adventure to retail, the new space sees guests treated to a cold beer or whisky as they prepare for a one-on-one shopping experience. Customers are invited to work directly with the Kapten & Son team to design their own bespoke timepiece or pair of sunglasses. Personalised appointments can be booked in advance, or feel free to simply stroll on in.

Before you surrender to buying yet another gift voucher as a present this year, make sure you stop by Marcus & Burton first. The homewares store popped up late last year, and its team has thought of everything in the way of gifts. Think socks printed with pugs and polar bears, bath salts, scented candles and something called a pocket monkey. Plus, a genius invention called the bowl bag – yes, a bag specifically designed to carry bowls without tipping over. Welcome to 2017. The store also has a small range of apparel for men and women too. Like we said, they’ve thought of everything.
