How it works Committee selects trips to auction. T4F sends certificates pre-event for winning bidders. Trips must meet a reserve amount unique to each trip. Charity keeps 100% of bids above the reserve. For example, if a package reserve is $1500 and you sell it for $3200, then you keep $1700 and send $1500 to Trips4Fundraising. Packages are not associated with time shares and our booking process is simple, requiring an email with exact desired travel dates within the expiration time of the package. Charities normally make between $400 and $4000 off each package at a well attended event. Organizations can enter as many trips as they feel they will receive bids on. Our team will provide you with first class service along with insight on how to increase the net revenue of your auction. We also handle reservations for your winning bidders following your event. You must use the package text details on our promotional flyers exactly how it is written. We assume no responsibility for any changes made to text. You have the liberty to start bidding at any price, knowing that it must sell for at least our reserve for a sale to occur. The week following your event, we need to know by email, what packages sold and to who. Upon receipt of our invoice, payment is due by check to Trips 4 Fundraising 30 days after your event. Our packages are exchangeable, extendable and non-refundable.

Þingvellir National Park and Gullfoss Waterfall Tour

The day starts by visiting Nesjavellir, a high temperature geothermal area situated amongst the scenic landscape of Lake Þingvallavatn. From there we go to the Þingvellir National Park, where the Icelandic parliament Alþingi was founded in the year 930 AD. The area is geologically remarkable and the tectonic plate boundaries form a breathtaking scenery. We continue to the beautiful waterfall Gullfoss, where we can walk so close to the edge that we might feel the fresh mist of the glacial water on our faces. Our lunchbreak is usually at the Gullfoss Café, but sometimes we also stop for lunch at the Information Center located at the geothermal area around Geysir.We journey towards the geothermal area around the incredible spouting hot springs of Geysir and Strokkur. We proceed to Skálholt church, the ancient seat of the Icelandic bishops, towards Hveragerði, a small and charming horticultural village. Participate in a two-week archaeological field school with leading archaeologists while excavating in a Roman site. Volunteers will take part in virtually every step of the archaeological field process and will work to master steps such as excavation, mapping, illustration, artifact processing, and scientific journaling. Those who participate on this project will have the opportunity to co-author professional reports and present their findings at academic conferences. Volunteers will be sharing rooms, each with en- suite bathrooms and air conditioning. Students will have access to a laundry machine. Towels are provided. The site is located in the center south of Portugal, only 50 km from Lisbon, the capital of Portugal, and only a 15 minute boat trip from Setúbal, a city that goes back to the Roman Period and Middle Ages and has 120,000 inhabitants. The Setúbal Bay, that also borders Tróia, is classified by UNESCO as one of The Most Beautiful Bays in the World. My husband, two friends and I rented this town home for 8 days. We were all so impressed with everything about his home! From the minute we arrived Milan was there helping us with directions and then introduced us to the home. He was so friendly and kind, he even brought us a huge bouquet of flowers from his garden on the third day! The home was immaculate, well equipped and the absolutely the most perfect location you could ever hope for! On a scale of 1 â&#x20AC;&#x201C; 10 it was a 20! The view from all the terrace and living room was without compare. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and pans to prepare our meals, and all the bedrooms were so comfortable. The walkway at the front door is something out of a painting with cobblestone, narrow walkway and flowers. An huge plus was the private, secure garage located right under us (parking is impossible in most French cities!) I highly recommend this home, it is very spacious and would be very comfortable for up to 8 people. There is very good public transportation to Vence from Nice, but it might be a little difficult without a rental car as it is a small town and you will want to explore the countryside. We had a rental car and drove to Antibes, Cannes, Monaco, Italy and the Alps. Driving in France was easy as it is right sided as in US, and we became expert at roundabouts!
