If your company had a product article featured in a past issue of Radio World, we can reprint the article(s) in this special annual directory section at a very affordable cost.

Product Spotlights can bring more attention and focus to your company listing. Provide us with your finished spotlight as a 2” x 3.25”, 300dpi PDF file. Or, provide us with a photo, product description in 50 words, logo and company contact information and we will create it. These will be placed close to your Basic Listing in the directory pages. Ad Specifications

Future US Sourcebooks and Supplements are printed web offset in a standard news magazine format, folded, saddle stitched, and trimmed to 9" x 10.875" page size. 133 halftone line screen is recommended for best results. Magazines are printed using CTP (Computer-to-Plate) process. We request that all ad copy be supplied as digital files rather than film.

A flattened CMYK, 300dpi PDF with embedded fonts is the preferred format for delivering advertisements. A detailed digital specification sheet is available.

Digital File Specifications: Formats we accept:

■ QuarkXpress 6.0 • TIFF

■ Adobe Photoshop CS4 • JPEG

■ Adobe Illustrator CS4 • EPS

■ PDF - Acrobat v. 4 & 5 only (i.e. v. 1.3 or 1.4)

The Preferred format is a print-ready Adobe Acrobat PDF

CMYK color, 300 dpi images, embed all fonts, page centered in PDF with Crop Marks

■ All applications must be used in accordance with the manual instructions for 4-color printing. A JPEG version, labeled as low resolution proof for internal review is highly recommended.

■ Future US’s production department works in a Macintosh OSX, CS4 environment.

■ If another file format is used, other than one of the above programs indicated, a fee may be charged for additional work time. A file may also be refused if it is not compatible.

■ Pre-Flight: FLIGHTCHECK® is the recommended program for pre-flighting your files before making the final PDF.

■ When native files sent, files should be collected with all supporting art in CMYK format and all fonts used within the file. Failure to supply all components or supplying incompatible files could result in delays and production fees.

■ Color reproduction cannot be guaranteed if ink density exceeds 275%.

Note: Advertisements that have excessive use of dark colors may print with heavy dot gain, resulting in a darker outcome than represented on the original color proof.
