The Advanced Music Bridge (AMB) is a small network connected device that adds next generation features to exist ing eSeries MMS installations. The purpose of this device is to allow Au tonomic to release highly demanded next generation features, such as Apple Music and Josh AI integration, while elim inating the need for customers to replace existing hardware. It is an add-on for new and existing eSeries MMS systems.
When the AMB is put on the network with an eSeries MMS, they will begin communi cating with each other. The presence of the AMB will enable the MMS to upgrade its firmware to Mirage OS 7.0.
The MMS will offload the processing of certain features to the AMB automatically. This additional processing is what allows us to create the feature rich experience found on Mirage OS 7.0.
The AMB is a new (or return to an old) paradigm for High End Audio. Many facets of audio technology have remained un changed for many years, while others are evolving rapidly. Hi-Res PCM audio is a mature technology, and an eSeries MMS that has been in the field for 5+ years is just as capable of delivering a pristine Hi-Res digital output today, as it was the day it was first installed.
When we reacquired the company, we went to the drawing board to determine what features were demanded by the indus try. We concluded that the Application Pro cessor found on the eSeries MMS’s would
not have the horsepower required to deliver some of these next genera tion features.
Many manufacturers will release next generation products, and 90% of what the new product is capable of, was possible on the old version. If a customer wants that subset of new features, that may require replacing a large amount of functional hardware. We wanted to develop a product that would bridge existing hardware with next gener ation features.
With the current supply chain environ ment, we are leveraging the tens of thou sands of existing installs that are in the field. Rather than create a whole new music streamer to replace the existing fleet of units, the AMB was born. Because the AMB does not have any physical audio outputs, there are very few components to bottle neck production, and thus we have a very strong pipeline of hardware to keep up with demand.
This will allow us to provide amazing new features to a greater amount of customers, while reducing supply chain challenges, cost, and waste (from replacing functional hard ware). It’s a solution that is good for dealers, their customers, and the environment.
It is this ability to recognize the market environment and develop a product to adapt and thrive in these unprecedented times, which makes this product unique.
The headline feature of Mirage OS 7.0 is the release of our native Apple Music integration. This is the only solution on
the market that enables a rich browsing experience of an Apple Music library in any supported control system. This is a major announcement for the industry, and high lights Autonomic’s history of innovation and solutions-oriented focus and will undoubt edly push the industry forward.
Other key features the AMB provides are an additional new service, Calm Radio. Calm Radio offers relaxing and meditative music, along with chill music and nature sounds. This is notable because it rep resents an entirely new category of music service that was not previously found on our platform.
The last major feature is an expansion of the amount of local library music files that can be loaded on the MMS. With the additional processing power of the AMB, the MMS can now cache up to two hundred thousand tracks on the MMS. These can be stored on the MMS’ internal SSD, a NAS drive, or a USB connected drive.
The flexibility offered by the AMB means that additional features and services are now possible, and future firmware updated will further expand the rich feature set offered by the MMS when paired with an AMB.
The AMB provides dealers and their customers an inexpensive way to upgrade their music systems. The product is in stock (official release 6/8/2022) and has a strong pipeline for additional shipments. There fore, this is a solution providing highly sought-after features, in a package that is readily available for dealers to sell to their new and existing customers.

Crestron LED Light Fixtures have scenebased control where users are able to set
scenes for one-touch control and to suit an individual’s preferences. Scenes can specify white light, colors, or can trigger circadian or SolarSync cycles. “One-touch warm Dim” or “One-touch Wellness” allows users to have favorites to toggle between at any time. T he DreamScreen UltraWeave v7 is our 7th generation acous tic transparent (AT) fabric. Throughout the last 15 years we have tested, prototyped, produced and sold a number of technical solutions. In our opinion, the best possible screen is the one that does not even make its appearance; you simply see what is projected upon it, nothing less, nothing more. By combining a high-gain (0.93@ D65*), yet speckle-free and full viewing-an gled reflection with high resolution, well contrasted and colour neutral performance we really feel the v7 is closer than ever to obtaining that objective.
When adding high acoustical transpar ency to that equation, the now patented technology utilised in the DreamScreen UltraWeave v7 is really a potential ground breaking discovery that may very well be able to alter how we regard AT screens in terms of image quality even directly com pared to regularly non-AT screens which has really been the Achilles’ heel of most AT screens thus far.

Utilizing several reflective layers, we have been able to combine a very fine, weaved front surface with three additional knitted layers, two white mid-layers, as well as a black backing layer. The thin, weaved front-layer would not have worked alone, simply because the reflection of light would be too low. However, in combination with two backing-layers that assists on the reflec tion, the total amount of light-reflection is higher than ever before.
The “magic” that makes this technique unique is the fact that upon reflection, our eye only sees the structure from the front-fabric, even from right in front of the screen, although the layer behind is re flecting light as well. The front-layer works as a filter of kinds, providing the highest density, resolution and sharpness possible. The black backing layer increased perceived contrast and is also utilizing the knitted type of fabric so that sound will pass more effeciently. The result is a sharp, dynamic, high-resolution image free from common artifacts such as moiré and visible structure
even from very short seating distances (2m or less).
We have tested both LCD, DLP, SXRD and D-ILA, currently in resolutions up to 8K (e-shift) from a number of distances, and there is simply no way the extremely fine-weaved surface will be able to create interference with the projected grid, thus create moiré. As it is the front-surface that provides the visible reflective surface to the viewer, even as resolutions increase to 8K or beyond, you can rest assured that the V7 UltraWeave fabric will keep providing a moiré-free reflection.
Bonding the layers is a complex process that we finally have mastered in our 5th generation of fabric. Imperfect tensioning, resulting in space between a front, sin gle-reflecting layer and its black backing layer is quite damaging to both image-con trast and sharpness, especially on sharp contrasted-objects such as a starlit sky. Using several reflective layers made it even more crucial to keep the layers perfectly tensioned.
On the v7 UltraWeave-fabric, there is no space between any of the layers which in turn creates a sharper and more contrasted reflection than is the case when trying to manually tension the layers of fabrics. The integrated black backing, in addition to in creasing perceived contrast, absorbs exces sive light which in case might have reduced sharpness and given “halo” artifacts if light is reflected on a wall behind the screen and back.

Rock F66 is a floorstanding speaker made with natural stones.
It can be installed indoors, but it was meant to be used outdoors as it has a massive audio dispersion, allowing the speaker to be placed far from the audience. That is one of the most desired characteristics dealers ask for outdoor solutions nowadays, according to a recently CEPro study.
The F66 is also a piece of art. Magna part nered with Studio Oune, an Italo Brazilian Design Studio, to project the speaker, with the design coordination of its Chief Design Officer, Daniel Lima. The idea was to bring to life the thoughts of the Magna team of producing a high-performance outdoor floorstanding speaker using natural stone and mixing it with the joy of LED lighting and luxury.

F or years, the AV world has had to use switches designed for IT uses which meant tedious, complicated setup and configura tion, not to mention an industrial design that was not conducive to the refined aesthetics of the AV industry.

The only mounting solution on the market for prefabricated shade pockets
Background Shade pockets are installed in new construction projects and are meant to sit flush with finished drywall, similar to a trim less light fixture. These boxes are trim less, up to 20’ long and made out of soft aluminum making them bow easily if. The pockets being installed are the same brand as the shades that later will be installed into them and are also purchased by the same dealer who will later install the actual shades. One thing all these shade pockets have in common is that up to now, no form of mounting brackets have ever existed for them, so among dealers there have been two schools of thought when it come to shade pocket installations. Either we install them using a method that includes multiple checkups on framing that requires measur ing precisely every framed space, give the framer a correction list, recheck yet again and so on and so fourth until every space is framed correctly before we come out with the metal pockets or we try to convince the builder to install our product for us.
This will make shade pockets the only product in our channel that we sell, provide and make money on that we try to convince someone else to install for us. The alterna tive is that we need to develop a highly detailed system requiring multiple site visits and precise measuring to not lose money in the process.
Ask yourself this question: Do you think the builder or dealer actually likes spending
time & money dealing with this? Ask yourself another question: Do you think the builder wants to install our products, and if not, why do some of them agree to do it?
Over time the builder learned that if he doesn’t take the responsibility, it won’t get done right and it would delay the project. He sees no other choice and he is now used to that’s the way it’s done but no builder likes dealing with it from my experience.
The mounting system does not need a framed support header.
It provides perfect leveling, and protru sion of the shade pocket every time.
It lets the dealer install any length of shade pocket just as easily in minutes.
It provides mounting support for the actu al shade when it gets installed.
Since the bracket is threaded, it allows you to adjust the pocket protrusion even after drywall is done if the finish thickness changes.
Since the pocket will never bow using this method, there are no closure plate install issues later.
The bracket is mounted 10” away from the corner to be out of the way when mounting the shades later and that makes it also possible to corner mount two pock ets together without the brackets overlap ping.
It allows for mounting the pocket right against a slider by cutting of one of the bot tom mounts and using one of the side holes instead.
It is clear to me that in a few years, the current way of installing shade pockets will be a thing of the past and all shade pockets will be mounted this way. Dealers can install their own pockets in minutes & builders will not be very keen to making special accom modations for a dealer who use pockets that can not be mounted with brackets like any other product on the construction site.
At that time, the dealer has to make a choice
1. Offer shades from a shade manufacturer that is licensed to manufacture the inno vation and whose pockets can be mount ed with brackets.
2. Offer another manufacturers shades installed in pockets that can be mounted with brackets, something the vast major ity of dealers are most likely reluctant to do. Some of them fit, some don’t.
3. Build support for the pockets themselves or convince the builder to build them, because the dealer wants to use a certain company’s shade products and continue dealing with current shade pocket installation issues, something that is highly unlikely.
I believe this innovation can have a major impact on the motorized shade business and has the potential to increase the market share for manufacturers who choose to license the bracket from us and away from the manufacturers who don’t. That could cause a ripple effect through many of a manufacturers other product offering and could have a multi-billion dollar yearly im pact on a manufacturers product sales.
