The potentially devastating impact AI can have on both planet and people is often forgotten, yet we cannot afford to ignore its carbon footprint.
Delivering the Smart Workplace Summit keynote, Claudia Feiner, AI, IT, Web3 & gaming consultant, leader and mentor, reminded the audience that AI has emerged as “both a culprit and a saviour” when it comes to tackling the current challenges facing humanity, ranging from the climate crisis to
economic and political instability, and even fake news.
Devastating images of e-waste dumps, rare earth metal mines, and shadow workers illustrated her call to be more mindful of the impact that AI is having on our shared world.
“The truth is that AI runs on minerals. From GPUs to data centres, all the big tech companies depend on ‘grey gold’, lithium, cobalt and rare earth elements,” said Feiner.
“Places with low regulation bear the scars of our demand for technology. Isn’t it ironic that something as abstract as AI is
Sponsored by Hikvision, Philips Professional Displays and EIT Culture and Creativity, the ISE Hackathon wraps up today with project presentations starting at 12:00 on the Pitching Stage in Congress Square, followed by an Awards Ceremony at 15:00 where the winning projects and teams will be announced.
The ISE Hackathon brought together 60 elite students from leading business and engineering schools to tackle realworld challenges set by AV industry partners.
“The companies that set these challenges are highly engaged,” said Xavier Marlasca, one of the ISE Hackathon coordinators. “They see this as an opportunity to gain fresh insights from young, talented individuals whose ideas are not shaped by industry norms.”

The Esports Arena in Hall 8.1 played host yesterday to a panel discussion, ‘AV Esports - It’s in the game. The audiovisual rise of the esports phenomenon’, with moderator Ciarán Doran leading the panel in a wide range of topics from latency to media rights.
Ted Romanowitz, principal analyst at Futuresource Consulting, highlighted the convergence of traditional broadcast and emerging technologies, with the panel discussing how high frame rate streaming, interactive overlays and real-time graphics are improving viewer engagement.
On media rights, Sam Cooke, co-founder, UNEVN, ESG Gaming, said: “We need esports to be able to reach as many people as possible to be able to grow the pie [for revenue], and that means scale, that means access, and that means absolutely not putting esports behind a paywall.”
He also stressed the importance of grassroots involvement, advocating for schools and local clubs to help develop a truly localised esports ecosystem.
The Esports Arena plays host to more content today, covering career opportunities and how Barcelona is booming as an esports hub.

Design trends and best practices were presented yesterday by invidis consulting managing director Florian Rotberg and senior partner Stefan Schieker as they delivered a keynote session exploring the coolest stores as part of the Retail Track. They also revealed that Paris, Taiwan, India and Thailand are among the global destinations leading the way when it comes to digital signage innovations in retail.
Projects praised included an LED floor in a Bangkok department store, Telefónica Madrid’s LED
signage, and Nike’s mesh LED design on the Centre Pompidou for the Paris Olympics.
Schieker noted that business protocols for sustainability, cybersecurity and AI were “game changers” in terms of innovation, while flexibility in design was also key: “You can change the look and feel of a space using digital elements; you can make it into anything.”
Rotberg, meanwhile, picked up on the trend towards industry consolidation: “The AV and retail industry is consolidating at a really fast pace,” he said. “You will see some larger international players emerging.”

“Our lives, both digital and physical, are becoming more intertwined, just as much as our spaces are,”
said David Jackson, director EMEA, International Critical Control Rooms Alliance, while chairing a panel session at the Control Rooms Summit. “Proactive prevention rather than reactive
response is where the industry is moving.”
AI is opening new doors in support of control rooms in the healthcare field, a concept described by Jackson as the “liquid hospital”. “We use AI to handle unstructured data as well as data from new devices around patient homes, and AI can help us analyse a continuous flow of data in real time and help us spot pattern changes to react fast,” said Hernán Lew, deputy director of data and digital strategy, Hospital Sant Joan de Déu Barcelona, who noted the sensitivity of such data as an additional variable to manage.
“We believe that AI will support the efficiency of control rooms for the coming decade, but will not take over yet,” said Dirk Hendrickx, chief commercial officer, Weytec.

It seems there are more than five things AV professionals need to consider about cybersecurity, it was agreed during an AVIXA Xchange LIVE session yesterday that also warned attacks are a matter of ‘when’ not ‘if’.
Joining him on stage, Graeme Scott, global training manager at Harman, quizzed Reardon on how the AV industry could be targeted.

He advised recognising AI as a “double-edged sword”, implementing protection from before the product development stage, improving company attitude towards cybersecurity and budgeting for potential attacks.
“Do a proportion of your budget in prevention and the rest of it budgeting for failure, because you will fail. Nobody is immune.”

Special effects professionals see a collaborative and inventive future, despite current misconceptions and complexities around SFX for live event touring.
Dan Mott, SFX designer and director at ER Productions, said drones, lasers and pyrotechnics are “normally the last thing added to budget and the first thing cut”.
He was joined by John ‘JP’ Partridge, head of production at Celestial, and Matt Heap, director of projects at BPM SFX, for yesterday’s Flames and Flying Objects session on the Live Events Stage.
“There’s a huge [safety] risk which people sometimes don’t see. Some of the ideas are just not achievable, but with our expertise and their creatives, we have the capability to be able to adapt,” said Heap.
Partridge concluded: “I believe in a couple of years’ time, you’ll see more integration between pyro, lasers, real-time tracking of drones and lighting.”

An interactive class led by security expert Jeff Sonnleitner, network specialist and information security instructor of Moraine Park Technical College, focused on safeguarding data within an AV environment that often handles sensitive information, such as corporate communications, private meetings and data.
Participants in the Smart Home Technology Conference session ‘Guardians of the A/V Galaxy: Navigating the future of data security’ highlighted that in some fields, customers still don’t think they will be hacked. “People have high expectations, but low budget,”
Young people and newcomers interested in a career in production have free access to sessions by Production Futures on the Live Events Stage today. The organisation is hosting a series of sessions exploring career opportunities, experiences and pathways, led by industry professionals. They will also be joined by winners from the Breakthrough Talent Awards, recognising achievements for those with under five years of experience in the entertainment production industry.
said Sonnleitner, adding that once a string of openings is found on a network with connected devices it will be exploited fast. “We are all connected and everything you have is called an attack surface. Smart TVs are the most easily hacked device and if remote meetings use TV sets, it’s a vulnerability.”
Sonnleitner mentioned password protocol and its vulnerability relating to AI. “Before AI, a downloadable password cracker would take 35 to 40 years to crack a 16-character password,” he said. “With generative AI, that has dropped to 16 minutes.”
The class also highlighted the importance of keeping firmware updated as a first line of defence, along with the importance of firewalls and the role of agentic AI in the configuration and set-up phase.
Stay in the loop with ListenTALK
AV-Solution Partner is using ListenTALK from Listen Technologies (3R400) to facilitate clear communication and simplify language interpretation during its guided tours of ISE as part of its AV-Symposium.
The AV-Symposium informs customers and interested parties from German-speaking countries about the latest AV technologies and trends. It invites 150 visitors from Germany, Austria, and Switzerland to ISE each year.
ListenTALK is a portable, wireless two-way communication system. As part of the guided tours, leaders are using ListenTALK in one-way communication mode. If they want to, they can quickly enable two-way communication so tour participants can ask questions and engage with the exhibitor.
“We’re very pleased to be using ListenTALK on our guided tours through the ISE exhibition halls as part of our AV-Symposium 2025. We know the system is easy to use, reliable and delivers clear audio even in the most challenging listening environments,” said Claus Lohse, board member of AV-Solution Partner.
Route any combination of SD, HD and Ultra HD at the same time!
Blackmagic Videohub 12G-SDI video routers let you connect all your equipment without creating a complex cable mess! Blackmagic Videohub routers support 12G-SDI so they allow you to connect and route any combination of SD, HD and Ultra HD on the same router at the same time. Plus they have zero latency so are perfect for live production and broadcast!
The built in front control panel lets you route video, so you get the perfect solution for live production racks that don’t have the space for extra hardware panels. The front panel features a spin knob for browsing, direct entry buttons for speed and an LCD for displaying labels. As the panel is built into the router, you can also see live video on the LCD! The LCD also has menus so you can change router settings.
With a built in LCD, Blackmagic Videohub 12G can show you live video of all your router inputs! This means you can see all router inputs as live video before you change a route. There are also labels displayed below the live video to make it easy to identify the input you are viewing. What this means is you can scroll up and down the router sources in alphabetical order and see each input as live video.
Advanced 12G-SDI for SD, HD and Ultra HD Routing Blackmagic Videohub 12G features advanced 12G-SDI connections which are multi rate so they support any SD, HD and Ultra HD video format up to 2160p60. Plus Blackmagic Videohub 12G supports routing any video standard on the same router at the same time. 12G-SDI gives you high frame rate Ultra HD via a single BNC connection that also plugs into all of your regular HD equipment!
Videohub includes built in SDI re-clocking on every 12G-SDI input. SDI re-clocking regenerates the video signal for maximum video quality. This is extremely important because longer video cables degrade the signal. With SDI re-clocking all of the SDI devices in your studio receive a regenerated signal with improved jitter performance. That means longer cable lengths, and no drop outs in your video.

TBSilicon is now offering what it claims is the first mass-produced hybrid PWM+PAM driver technology, which “allows higher refresh rates at low greyscale, high dynamic contrast and higher greyscale levels at lower power”. It addresses previous issues of flickering at low greyscale levels and insufficient dynamic range.
Fuyang Qu, CTO, TBSilicon, said: “We make a total solution”, with the sending card, receiving card and the driver IC, “so screen makers only have to deal with one provider”. The devices work together, with algorithms in both the sender and receiver making use of the hybrid driver to optimise performance. “This is not a driver stand alone. The whole chain makes this happen,” he added.
The driver combines the advantages of pulse width modulation (PWM) and pulse
power consumption. Separate PWM- and PAM-based driver ICs both have disadvantages: PWM ICs tend to cause flickering at low greyscale levels, while PAM ICs are limited in dynamic range.
The hybrid system is being used by parent company NovaStar in all its latest screens. – DAVID FOX www.tbsilicon.tech
Providing pocket-sized power in its 30th-anniversary year, Powersoft has launched Nota, a versatile, ultra-compact PoE/PoE+ amplifier at ISE.
Designed to integrate into a range of networked audio environments, it offers PoE/PoE+ and USB-C connectivity, 140W of power, on-board DSP, and remote monitoring and control. Powersoft says its ability to transmit power and data via a single Ethernet connection streamlines installation, reduces cost and minimises wiring complexity, meaning it is well suited to IT integrators without in-depth technical knowledge.
In addition, its automated set-up automatically matches the impedance curve of connected speakers and applies a high-pass filter, optimising sound quality and protecting speakers from potential damage.
Davide Quarto, solutions engineering team leader, Powersoft, said: “This is the smallest PoE amplifier on the market and the market drove its development. The AV and IT worlds are merging more and more so we wanted to support this convergence, and Nota is the result of this strategy.”

GROWTH TICKS UP A NOTCH AS THE CONTEXT IMPROVES
2024 was a year full of uncertainties. We had predicted that 2024 would be a challenging time as interest rates remained the same until September, election cycles created unease, and companies hedged a bit on spending. About the only upside we forecast was that supply challenges would mitigate and so growth would be more evenly felt across the channel. All of this seems to be true as we revised down the final annual growth percentage. The good news is that this is poised to change in 2025, helping drive a bit more robust growth as companies renew projects they may have slow rolled over the past 12-18 months. A large amount of tech installed during the pandemic adaptive period is also set to be replaced, fuelling the next wave of investment.
COMMODITISATION WILL CONTINUE TO UNDERCUT CONFERENCING
Here’s the rub about the prediction above – a lot of the core conferencing and collaboration business has now shifted to a more volume story. Basically, enterprises are moving into a scaling mode, thanks in part to platform-based rooms, and so are seeking technologies that can easily and cost effectively be added to multi-use spaces in offices. This will likely continue into 2025 and beyond, creating a bifurcation in the market. Larger integrators will be better equipped to handle this type of business, shifting the mid and smaller size into more custom projects. No doubt there is money to be made in both, but the better margin in many cases will be in the design
and consulting side. Recurring revenue through managed services is another offset.
One of the continuums in the AV business is between more integrated permanent solutions and pop-up temporary ones –think large auditoriums versus a corporate event. Some of the same technologies and skills are needed for both, though there are clear differences in the business model. Many firms straddle this continuum, shifting as the demand moves. Given that integrated collaboration solutions are facing some margin challenges per the above, this makes the event business more appealing in many ways as companies build brand experiences that are separate from an office space, particularly in a time when offices are less used. In fact, some companies
are beginning to treat staff get togethers as an alternative to spending on office space. This pumps up the event side of things, as is already evidenced in the higher growth AVIXA predicts here. The trend has upside as we go forward.
BROADCAST AV IS A FURTHER EXTENSION OF THE EVENTS BUSINESS
Part of standing up a good event in today’s video age is to treat it as a valuable content creation opportunity. More and more enterprises understand this as they attempt to produce content to stay engaged with audiences of all kinds. While this started before the pandemic, it solidified its place as a long-term trend. Witness all the democratised sources of video content as proof points, TikTok just being one. This is creating a whole new take on pro AV, one as more of an ongoing events management and content production capability,
leveraging the combination of AV and broadcast skills and technology. The real question here is not whether it exists but which market to place it in as it borrows from so many. Creative AV houses, seeing the talent coming out of schools these days, are evolving to capitalise now, with this year being another wave of growth. Put another way, this trend is causing a shift in the conversations from what a company wants to do with its boardrooms to how it wants to craft its digital identity, video first.
ENTER AI’S SHORTTERM USE CASE I’ll end on the choir-preaching topic – AI as a content creation tool. Those at the bleeding edge of the previous trend know that AI is a big part of producing content, whether for faster editing or outright raw generation. This year will further push the boundaries of this, further bolstering capability expansion for provider firms looking for a way to innovate. This isn’t set to happen starting in 2025, it is simply more likely that a growing chunk of revenues will be generated here. I hold to the long-term view that this is still 3-5 years away from being a more mainstream force for AV solution revenues, but the innovator phase is worth calling out as an important part of the technology adoption curve. Keep an eye on managed services as the place this shows up. Already the fastest growing component of AV, it may receive a turbo boost from AI going forward. Let’s call 2025 the start of that acceleration.

CEDIA, the Association for Smart Home Professionals, documented one of its most bullish advocacy years to date with major victories and activations spanning the globe. As the momentum continues into and throughout 2025, CEDIA is proud to report significant progress in securing industry-wide recognition, advancing key policy initiatives and amplifying the voice of smart home professionals.
CEDIA has filed comments with the United States government to advocate for the establishment of the technology integrators occupational code. By doing so, CEDIA aims to ensure that the professional contributions of technology integrators are accurately recognised and classified. In addition to submitting comments to the Standard Occupational Classification Policy Committee, CEDIA worked with Congress to submit a letter of support for this initiative and to bring greater awareness to the government agency about the importance of establishing a separate occupational code for technology integrators.
FREEDOM TO INVEST IN TOMORROW’S WORKFORCE ACT PROVISIONS ADVANCES OUT OF COMMITTEE
CEDIA lobbied for this bill in Washington in March. In July, key provisions from the Freedom To Invest in Tomorrow’s Workforce Act were included in the Education and Workforce Freedom Act passed by the House Ways and Means Committee. These provisions will broaden the scope of qualified expenses under 529 savings plans to include post-secondary training and credentialling for workers of all educational backgrounds and skill levels. In 2025, CEDIA will continue to advocate for legislation that supports access to education for the smart home industry.
CEDIA ADDS TECHNOLOGY INTEGRATOR INPUT TO NATIONAL ELECTRICAL CODE UPDATES Representatives Michael Cogbill and Ken Erdmann of CEDIA’s Code-Making Panel 3 have been integral in reviewing changes and submissions to the 2026 edition of the National Electrical Code (NEC). During a
series of meetings, the pair provided valuable feedback on several proposed updates, including those related to limited energy systems. Even small changes to the NEC can significantly impact the work of technology integrators, making it crucial to have a proactive voice in these discussions.
CEDIA is also preparing to contribute to revisions to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS), a standardised system for categorising business establishments. In December, the Federal Register solicited proposals for updates to NAICS codes for 2027, and CEDIA has developed strategies to advocate for adjustments supporting limited energy systems contractors. These updates will enhance data reporting and classification for technology integrators, offering a clearer representation of their role in the smart home sector.
CEDIA has submitted proposals in Australia and New Zealand for the recognition of ‘smart home technology integrator’ as an official occupation. Australia is preparing to finalise its Occupation Standard Classification for Australia (OSCA), formerly ANZSCO, where CEDIA’s submission awaits review. New Zealand’s separate classification updates are also forthcoming, marking the first time either country may approve integrator recognition independently.
Thanks to CEDIA’s dedicated efforts, ‘Smart Home Installer’ is now officially listed on the National Careers Service website, providing visibility and encouraging new talent to explore careers in this dynamic field. Additionally, CEDIA is in the process of establishing a UK Government Affairs Committee to amplify advocacy efforts and engage directly with policymakers on issues affecting the industry. To further support its members, CEDIA joined TechUK, a prominent technology association, ensuring members stay informed on key developments in the country.
A UNITED VOICE FOR INDUSTRY RECOGNITION AND PROGRESS
CEDIA is committed to advocating for the smart home industry at every level, ensuring integrators are seen, valued and supported by government agencies around the world. These accomplishments highlight the association’s dedication to advancing industry standards, workforce development and occupational recognition. Together with its members, CEDIA continues to build a stronger, more recognised industry ready to meet the challenges and opportunities ahead.
For more information on CEDIA’s advocacy efforts and how to get involved, visit www.cedia.org/ advocacy.

Pablo Vega de Llergo Cornish, ESADE
By David Davies
Exemplifying the organisers’ stated desire to continually encourage innovation and introduce new features, ISE has been hosting its first ever Hackathon during this year’s show.
From an initial call for participants that yielded a field of around 150 people, a selection process took place before the show to whittle this down to 60 finalists, drawn primarily from top universities including ESADE, UPC, UPF, Bocconi University, HEC and La Salle.
It’s from ESADE where the ISE Hackathon gains its two chairs, Pablo Vega de Llergo Cornish and Xavier Marlasca Roig, both of whom are professors at the international educational institution, as well as being highly experienced business transformation leaders and consultants. For the Hackathon, they are working in conjunction with Idearia-Lab, a boutique consultancy headquartered in Mexico that specialises in business model innovation.
The significant involvement of universities based in and around Barcelona stems from a wish by ISE “to give back to society with regards to promoting people and talent here”, says Vega de Llergo, who adds that the three project tracks – sustainability, innovation and cybersecurity – are based on feedback from a survey conducted at ISE 2024.
EXPLORING NEW TECHNOLOGIES
The challenges for each track have been informed by suggestions from industry stakeholders including AV companies and system integrators, while Vega de Llergo indicates that there is a general objective of exploring new technologies in a context of “how they can be used in order to provide value propositions or enhance them”.
For the final selection of participants, a panel drawn from the AV industry and academia looked for students who were “capable of addressing the challenges, are creative and resourceful, and pragmatic as well”, he adds.
The resulting finalists have been split
equally across the three tracks and then into five teams per track.
The teams have had a mere 1.5 days to complete their work, with the Hackathon starting at 08:00 on Thursday and wrapping up at midday today (this included the opportunity to continue over Thursday night in the Fira should teams decide that’s necessary). Later today there will be a series of project presentations on the Pitching Stage in Congress Square, followed by a ceremony at 15:00 to reveal the winners and runners-up.
While all participants will receive a certificate, the winners will also receive trophies, as well as the opportunity to take part in psychometric diagnosis – a careeroriented process of aptitude tests designed to provide insights into a person’s strengths, weaknesses and potential for progression.
ISE manager business development
& special projects Lara Mayer, who is co-ordinating the Hackathon on behalf of the show, says now is the ideal time to introduce this new feature: “At ISE, we constantly strive to foster innovation and collaboration within the AV and technology industries.
Hosting a Hackathon this year aligns with our mission to push the boundaries of creativity and problem-solving. We believe it’s a fantastic opportunity to bring together diverse talent, encourage fresh thinking, and tackle real-world challenges in the AV space. Our expectation is that the Hackathon will not only showcase brilliant ideas, but also inspire lasting connections and solutions that resonate beyond the event.”
The winners of the ISE Hackathon will be revealed on the Pitching Stage in Congress Square at 15:00 today.
The LAm114xA Plus stage monitor has been introduced by Portuguese manufacturer Next Audiogroup. With a new DSP and amplifier module, and Ethernet control via X-Net software, the LAm114xA Plus is an enhanced edition of the LAm114xA, retaining the same design.
Incorporating an advanced coaxial 14in B&C custom made speaker and a high-performance DPA amplifier module capable of generating 1,650W (1,150W + 500W), the design combines the voice reproduction clarity associated with 12in drivers with the typical bass extension of 15in speakers. High-frequency reproduction is handled by a 2in exit driver, 3in voice coil and a HF neodymium driver for the critical voice frequency range. The cabinet’s small footprint and low weight, combined with its linear and extended response at high-pressure levels, makes the LAm114xA Plus well suited to both small and large venue use.
An onboard 96kHz/40-bit SHARC DSP engine, monitored by a built-in LCD screen with a preset loading encoder, can be remotely monitored and controlled through Ethernet by a PC using X-Net software. X-Net automatically identifies each device and allows simultaneous control of multiple devices through a grouping facility. – KEVIN EMMOTT www.nextaudiogroup.com

Dante addresses the weakest link
Dante Media Encryption is on show at ISE, enabling pro-AV equipment manufacturers to upgrade qualified Dante firmware and software in new or existing designs to support AES-256 encryption security policies on managed Dante networks.
Audinate claims that Dante’s fully supported, end-to-end interoperability and encryption offering takes the problem of key management out of the hands of manufacturers. Integrating secure AV equipment with encryption between two or more manufacturers can make encryption key management exceptionally challenging, it adds.
Audinate notes that Dante Media Encryption capabilities are fully compatible between updated devices in managed Dante networks. AV administrators can configure the encryption policy through an intuitive user interface on the Dante Director management platform. Dante Director also provides strong key management, including key rotation, for

UK-based semiconductor specialist Profusion is turning up the volume at ISE with its RA-ECM-SVC demo board.
The board uses the new MUSES72323 volume IC, which has the advantage of controlling volume in the analogue domain so that the signal-to-noise ratio is maintained as both are attenuated together; if controlled in the digital domain the noise level remains the same, resulting in audible noise at lower listening levels. Profusion says distortion is typically 0.00024%, and output noise is -124dBV.
The demo board also includes the RA-ECM AES70 networked control module. The compact 50x38mm module includes the code to interpret AES70 requests and instructions so that control functionality is available to AES70-based networked controllers. In addition, an onboard webserver generates a clear graphical user interface. – KEVIN EMMOTT gb.profusion.uk

Sustainability is becoming a major focus in the AV industry, not only for its environmental importance but also for its economic advantages. Companies are increasingly realising that investing in sustainable technologies and practices serves a dual purpose: meeting environmental responsibilities while also boosting profitability. This shift highlights the interconnected relationship between ecological stewardship and financial performance, which is transforming how the industry approaches sustainability.
COST REDUCTION THROUGH SUSTAINABLE TECHNOLOGIES
One of the main economic drivers behind the adoption of sustainable practices in the pro-AV industry is cost efficiency. Energy-efficient technologies, such as LED lighting and advanced videowalls, are helping businesses reduce their operational expenses.
The rollout of DvLED in the pro displays
CHIEF | STAND: 3N600
The TiLED Series of DvLED universal wall mounts is compatible with a multitude of interlocking DvLED panels from various manufacturers. They promise to simplify installation and provide a uniform display with no misaligned pixels or gaps between panels.
The mounts accommodate displays with pixel pitches below 1mm, while three-axis
segment is a prime example of this. LED displays typically boast twice the lifespan of LCD (~100,000 hours), meaning fewer replacements, as well as reduced energy consumption. Additionally, in the case of malfunction, individual LED cabinets can be replaced, rather than an entire LCD panel. These advantages will only be entrenched further with the advent of MicroLED Chip on Glass technology.
BOOSTING BRAND EQUITY THROUGH SUSTAINABILITY
Sustainability also plays a key role in enhancing brand perception. End users today are increasingly drawn to brands that show a genuine commitment to environmental responsibility. The use of sustainable technologies not only improves production quality but also strengthens a brand’s image. This growing preference for eco-conscious companies often leads to greater customer engagement, loyalty and ultimately increased revenue.
Regulatory pressures are another important factor pushing the AV industry towards sustainability. As governments and international bodies introduce stricter guidelines on energy consumption, waste management and emissions, companies are being forced to adopt greener technologies.
adjustments provide precise alignment and levelling on uneven surfaces. The double-depth adjustment mechanism ensures flat videowall installation, while the independent column adjustment allows for precise levelling. The independent Y-axis adjustment at each panel edge helps set a flat and level base for the DvLED videowall,
However, this shift is more than just a regulatory requirement; it is an opportunity for businesses to innovate and differentiate themselves in a market where sustainability is increasingly valued by consumers.
With climate change becoming a more pressing global issue, it is expected that these regulatory pressures will continue to intensify. For companies in the pro-AV sector, adopting forward-thinking, sustainable practices presents an opportunity to lead the industry, rather than simply meeting compliance standards.
One challenge the industry faces is the abundance of competing eco-certifications, which can create confusion for both consumers and businesses. To address this, a more unified framework that integrates multiple standards into a widely recognised certification would be beneficial. Such a system would provide greater clarity, reduce greenwashing and establish clearer benchmarks for sustainability within the AV industry.
Transparency in the certification process is also crucial. Ensuring that eco-credentials are awarded based on verifiable and consistent criteria is key to building trust. Collaboration between manufacturers, certification bodies and industry stakeholders is essential to creating a streamlined and effective system that genuinely reflects sustainable practices.
while the double-depth Z-axis adjustment creates a level videowall installation.
TiLED DvLED universal wall mounts are sized for 27in interlocking DvLED panels and feature new floating buttoncapture technology and universal mounting hardware, to streamline installation. The mounts can be ordered in two-, three-, or four-panel lengths and mixed and matched with extender mounts to achieve the exact installation height needed.
