Heavyweight submission artist Fabricio Werdum is finally verging on a title shot. The only thing that stands in his way is a 6' 7" Hawaiian smashing machine named Travis Browne.
Rising middleweight contender, Special Forces operator, opera lover: Tim Kennedy is a student of many art forms, and not all of them have to do with kicking an opponent in his face.

FC matchmaker Joe Silva has often said that his one and only job is to find contenders that put the UFC’s champions to the test every time they step into the Octagon. When it comes to the middleweights, Silva has them lined up like the teeth of a great white shark. Even better, the level of drama matches the talent, making the 185-pound class arguably the most fascinating division in the UFC. Reigning undisputed and undefeated champion Chris Weidman did the impossible when he beat Anderson Silva twice. He has finished all but two of his UFC opponents, and now he faces a former champion in Lyoto Machida at UFC 173 in Las Vegas. Whoever walks out of the Octagon as champion on May 24 will face a nasty lineup of challengers. With this issue, you’ll notice a slight change in the look of UFC 360. We are launching a new iOS app on iTunes and will roll out to Android devices later this year. Soon you will be able to truly enjoy all of our enhanced UFC 360 content anywhere, anytime on your mobile device. More positive changes are coming to the mag. SETH KELLY, Editor in Chief
FROM THE PRESIDENT Dear Fight Fan, On May 24 in Las Vegas, reigning middleweight champion Chris Weidman and former light heavyweight champion Lyoto Machida will collide in one of the most anticipated fights of the year, and the winner will be crowned the king of the 185-pound division. In this issue, Weidman talks about the emotions of beating Anderson Silva twice in one year and how he’s preparing for his next test. Machida wants to avenge the two losses endured by his friend and training partner and become the third man in UFC history to win a title in two different weight classes. I’m pumped for this fight! This issue is also packed with great stories about fighters like Tim Kennedy, who has a huge fight coming up in April. Kennedy and fellow middleweight title contender Michael Bisping square off in the main event of The Ultimate Fighter Nations Finale in Quebec, and there’s no love lost between the two. They’ve traded words in the press and on Twitter for months, and now they’ll finally meet. That’s what I love about this sport— everything gets settled inside the Octagon. We’ve also got a cool article on No. 2–ranked heavyweight star Fabricio Werdum, who fights No. 3– ranked Travis Browne on FOX. Both of these guys are riding impressive winning streaks and both badly want a shot at heavyweight champ Cain Velasquez. We’ll take you behind the scenes to show you how Werdum is preparing for Browne, who has knocked out his last three opponents. I expect this to be a war on April 19, and I’m sure Velasquez will be watching closely. These next few months are going to be a lot of fun. We’ve got some really important fights that will determine champions and next contenders, so the stakes are higher than ever before. I can’t wait to watch it all unfold.
DANA WHITE UFC President
