Young Persons’ Concerts For children ages 7 through 12
Young Persons’ Concerts introduce children to symphonic music through lively, interactive programs. These concerts are recommended for elementary school students.

Andrés Franco, Conductor Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at 10:15 AM and 12:15 PM Thursday, January 24, 2013 at 10:15 AM and 12:15 PM Bass Performance Hall Fort Worth, Texas Join the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra in a celebration of our great city and the FWSO Centennial Season! Students will meet each of our four ‘teams’ (strings, woodwinds, brass and percussion) and will hear demonstrations of all the instruments that make up a symphony orchestra. Next they will hear Four Dance Episodes from Aaron Copland’s Rodeo. This American masterpiece will be accompanied by images from the Amon Carter Museum of American Art. All Young Persons’ Concert seats are $4 per person. Program subject to change.

Kinderconcerts
For children ages 3 through 6
PETER RABBIT AND FRIENDS IN THE ORCHESTRA
AndrĂŠs Franco, Conductor Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at 9:45 AM and 11:15 AM Arborlawn United Methodist Church 5001 Briarhaven Road Fort Worth, Texas Join the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra as we bring childhood classics to life, featuring The Tale of Jemima Puddle-Duck and The Tale of Peter Rabbit. Both stories will be told by a narrator with musical accompaniment. These performances will also include an introduction to the instruments of the orchestra. Kinderconcerts last approximately 45 minutes. All Kinderconcert seats are $4 per person. Program subject to change.

How to Reserve your Tickets Orders for 20 or more seats may be reserved without advance payment. Orders of fewer than 20 seats must be paid for at the time of the reservation. Reservations can be made by filling out and returning the Concert Reservation Form or online at fwsymphony.org/education. Approximately one month before the concert, you will receive a notice confirming the number of seats ordered and the total amount due. This notice will serve as your group ticket for the event. We do not distribute individual tickets for educational events. Any changes of reservation numbers must be communicated to the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra at least two weeks before the concert date. Full payment is also due at this time. No refunds will be given after this date. Because of the nature of these concerts, we request children under the age of three not be brought to the concerts, particularly to the concerts at Bass Performance Hall.
